Great product and price but let down by using Parcelforce for delivery. Had to wait in all day as they failed to give a time slot or allow live tracking.

I took my 84 year old neighbour who is very hard of hearing, to buy some fishing equipment as he has taken up the sport again. I did think you could walk around a browse which would have been ideal but as they are moving soon that was not possible. Young Michael the sales assistant was fantastic, very patient and knowledgeable. We came away with a really good impression of the staff. The chap who advises on the airguns also deserves a positive mention.

After waiting since February for some Prologic Lotus rods for my wife to arrive in UK. I tried all over as far away as Germany& Poland but to no avail. Just by accident I came across Taskers and thought why not give them a call? To my surprise they had 2 of the rods instock and dispatched and arrived within 48hrs. I couldn't walk around the shop as they are in the process of moving shops. Young lad on the counter was superb. Helped me my buy a Rod n Reel for my lads birthday, which is suitable for him & his style of fishing. 5 star👍

It's a brilliant fishing tackle shop, the only drawback at the moment is that they are moving so you can't go round and have a look at everything. If it had been fully open up to look around I would have spent over £200 in stead I only spent £40

Helpful and informative staff. Great selection of items. Parking is hit and miss, they do have a carpark however the bollards have been up prevent access to it everytime I have been. You then need to rely on street parking, otherwise this is a fantastic store. Staff always polite and helpful

This company is brilliant I've ordered two orders over the last week for carp tackle bite alarms ,bivvy and bedchair some boilies and a 3 rod pod all the sonik range it's very good quality and suits my budget I ordered something yesterday and is due for delivery this morning they have some very good deals on the website I don't live anywhere near the store I found them by accident looking on clearpay for angling supplies with Interest free split payments to do a big order , I recommend using this company for delivery if you don't live near, I live near Birmingham so have to order online also if you want Interest free credit use clearpay on checkout I wouldn't have found this company if it wasn't for clearpay thank you for my quick delivery's and I will be ordering again in the future and recommending you to friends ect

Great, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Why I didn't shop here sooner I'll never understand. I had a proper good conversation about not only my purchases but also the subject I'm interested in. I was told by staff that the website is due to be revamped and expanded because of the limited floorspace in a physical establishment so their range of products can be fully displayed for us to take advantage of! They also offer a call and collect service for a small fee as of recently whereby you can buy a product from another shop or country, have it shipped here and collect it when it lands. Depending on the product you may need to bring ID (only photocard driving licence or valid passport) and be over 21. Firearms are only available if you consent to having the firearm registered to you on a database. If the firearm is provided on their collection service there is a small fee, just a heads up but well worth it! I'm definitely shopping here again!

I've been going to Taskers for over 20 years now, it's a great shop for bait and tackle. They have a massive range of tackle, clothing and specialist carp fishing equipment as well as fly fishing and sea fishing tackle. A few of the staff have been there since I started going there, namely Big Cliff and Jimmy. There's not much they don't know about fishing and are always at hand for advice on venues,. Methods and bait to use. This shop is brilliant

Ordered a pump for a PCP air rifle through Taskers. It arrived a couple of days later. Followed the instructions, but couldn't get it to work. Called the shop expecting to have to return the item as faulty. Left my details and was called back immediately by Neil, the proprietor, who talked me through some logical steps to gauge whether it was faulty or whether it was user error, to avoid having to return a perfectly good item. Turned out it was user error... Not many places would have the wherewithal to do this. Taskers' customer service was excellent and friendly - would definitely use them again. Thanks, guys...
