Fantastic little store next The Puffin Rooms. It's easy to miss, so keep your eyes peeled. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Really made us feel welcome and I found what I was looking for with their help. I highly recommend paying them a visit. Seconds away from the train station.

I have been here many times before. It is my go to cigar shop. I live in Yorkshire and i find that even though its a 1hr 50min drive i arrange to do other things while i am there. The service and knowledge of the young gentleman who accompanied me to the walk-in humidor and the extensive selecion of cigars makes it a worthwhile experience. The cigars are not cheap these days, but if you require quality smokes, to sit back and enjoy at your leisure, then this is the place to purchase them. There is also a large selection of spirits on sale as well as all the other items you require, lighters, cutters,matches and personal humidors as well as various ashtrays all with a cigar theme. Would recommend to all.

Visited the shop on 5th October and was really well looked after by the two lads on the till. They helped me find a budget friendly bundle of cigars for my wedding without insisting on upselling me, and even included a nice box to display them in. Highly recommended!

This place is such a gem. I visited this place in February. It's very close to the cruise terminal and one can easily reach by walk from the cruise terminal. Great service from Mr Edward, excellent suggestions. The lounge was superb and comfortable with portraits of legends everywhere and cigar magazines as well. They have an amazing whisky collection too. They provide complimentary coffee. Perfect place.

Wonderful shop with not just great whiskies but also some great rum as well. Had a lovely chat with who I presumed is the owner. He sails a lot and picked up this great rum “Spanish Marie / Bad B**ch” rum in Florida. Got a bottle and it’s fantastic. Very interesting and friendly gentleman who sounds like he’s got a lot of great stories - shame I had to leave. Highly recommended. Would have been great if they had some whiskies out for tasters.

Went here for the first time today as a newish pipe smoker and received excellent service. Im fairly young, so I usually don't get taken seriously in shops like this but today I was served by Freddie who was very friendly and he picked out some tobacco for me to take home and sample. He sold me my first petersons pipe as well (Christmas 2020 - 01 fishtail 9mm) which I tried as soon as I got home and it is incredible. I will only be buying pipes and tobacco from this store from now on. I also spoke to Craig who was also very friendly. Great staff.

Thoroughly impressed. He was more than happy to answer questions, was very professional and helpful. Set me up for a good day having an interaction in the morning like that. Great job. Keep it up!

I love going into the shop the humidor is amazing. The staff are very helpful, friendly and straight up very professional. Cool music over the speakers as well. I generally know what I want but on occasion when I don't they are always happy to quiz you on your preference and wallet size and make knowledgeable suggestions, never felt hurried either. One of the top establishments in Liverpool in my humble opinion.

Went to get my first cigar today i went in with the intention of getting a big one, the woman who worked there explained to me that i didnt need a big cigar for my first smoke and sold me a cheaper smaller cuban cigar with a cutter she even threw in a pack of matches and a platic sleve to keep it fresh with a box to keep it all neatly together. What a place! Went in with my wife whilst she picked out some Whisky. Whilst she was chatting to the whisky chap I went for a look around. Started chatting to Craig who was so helpful. Took me into the humidor and answered all my questions on cigars! So knowledgeable and happy to share his wisdom. Ended up buying two bottles of whisky (Nikki from the barrel and Lindores) and some smokes! Now our new favourite shop and go to for all our drinking needs.

The shop is a dream for anyone who is into alcohol and smoking. I was served by Edward I think his name was. He was training but came across confident, Knowledgeable and friendly. They have a vast range of stock to suit your budget and are willing to spend just as much time with you no matter what your budget is. Especially if you are a beginner to the world of cigars. Definitely going to be returning soon!

Shame to see some poor reviews as this is not the experience I have had with Turmeaus Liverpool. I have used this store in the past for whiskey gifts, however more recently as a beginner to cigars. Edward and his work colleague (sorry didn't catch his name but Liverpool guy) have always been super helpful, allowing time to look around and very knowledgeable. Love this store and customer service fantastic, it's a little gem in the city and will return.

Me and my friends visited this cigar shop for the first time and the service was brilliant, the gentleman behind the counter, Craig, helped us choose the cigar we wanted and spent up to half an hour telling us about the variety of cigars and which ones would suit us best! Such a great place I highly recommend.

Popped in whilst my wife was giving blood around the corner, I'm a novice cigar smoker and love my whisky. I normally purchase my cigars from here online but had the chance to finally pay Turmeaus a visit. I met Craig who was very friendly, chatty and extremely knowledgeable as he showed me around the fantastic humidor, recommended a nice cigar and also helped me rectify my humidor problem, thanks for that 👍🏻 The only slight criticism was the gentleman in the whisky department seemed not to want to make conversation with me as I commented on the Macallan collection and the amazing other whisky's, but still a great place. I have been a regularly buying cigars at Turmeaus for a few months now and I feel that it is only right that I tell others about the excellent experience I have at the store every time I visit. The store itself is exceptional, boasting an extensive range of cigars and whisky. All of the staff that work there are increadibly helpful, knowledgable and are very clearly passionate about what they do. It is a combination of these things which make it a pleasure to chat with each member of staff about their area of expertise, discussing the flavours of cigars and whisky and telling them about my experience with cigars that I have purchased from the store. I would highly recommend Turmeaus to anybody!

The staff at Turmeaus Tobacconist on Old Hall Street, in Liverpool is a fantastic place for people who have little to no knowledge of cigars to people who smoke cigars regularly. The store is home to the United Kingdoms biggest walk in humidor and i was walked around by a very knowledgeable member of staff advising me about each brand. If buying cigars for an occasion, and you are unsure they will take the time to help you. Fantastic shop.

I have only been here once in August of 2009 ,I'm very impressed with the Pipe Smoking side of things , a lovely woman member of staff saw to me ,I only bought one can of Pipe Tobacco ,it was just what I wanted , great service & great knowledgeable staff too ,it's ten years Later , I came over from the Isle of Man on the Steam Packet fastcraft , was hoping to get to Turnmeus to come & purchase more ,but I didn't get a chance when I realized I could not make it , I was gutted & it was the last bank holiday of the year , it was the main reason I took the day trip ,but the hours of opening business was , earlier close that day , i even past the James street Inna Cab just off the ship ,but I thought I would of had enough time to come in & browse pipe tobacco etc & definitely buy some ,, I was very gutted when the time was 4:56pm & you were closing at 5:pm , I didn't even get much distance in the time was in Liverpool didn't make to the new " Liverpool one " city centre just around the original city centre & station & cavern club & Primark etc I was hoping to pop in after lunchtime ,next time I will be in first thing on the next day trip I do , the best thing is to always Check the opening times I think , especially bank holidays , I had in my head , that you were open till 8:30pm god knows why ,but I'll be looking forward it ,the wholesale place I use on IOM is in a place called " Ramsey " it's Called " Tabac World " & the manager is Pipe Man himself ,not alot of Pipe Smoking people where I live just be & a handful of others , I will be back 😁

True Tobacconist and Whiskey store. Store has Oliver Twist chewing tobacco, a selection of nasal snuff, pipes, pipe tobacco and cigars including foreign cigars. A large selection of whiskey and additional Liverpool gins, etc + a smoking room with a television that was playing a black and white film when we were visiting. Has class, style and your tobacco needs.
