What a wonderful shop! So pleased to have found such a gem local to us. Everyone was so friendly and generous with help and advice. It was so nice that kids are welcome and encouraged to become makers themselves. We look forward to many more visits and hopefully some classes too!

An excellent local fabric shop run by the very friendly Michaela. Has just moved to larger premises with a dedicated studio for classes. A must visit for any sewist or quilter in the area. And it's conveniently located near to Livingston North train station for anyone who wants to visit from further afield.

Went to Just Sew Simple as we were looking for fabric to do a small project, (first time doing such a thing) anyway we met the owner Michaela and she was very helpful and advised us of what fabric we needed. She recommended best way for us to source fabric instead of buying from her as she knew what we needed wasn’t really what she had. Although I just wanted to leave a review as it’s not always you go in to a shop and just strike a conversation so naturally these days. Michaela is really nice to talk to and we had a good chat about everything other than fabrics haha. How nice is it to just meet someone and strike up good conversation. Your shop is fab Michaela and hope you enojed your interrupted lunch :) Kev & Kam ❤️

Lovely little shop with LOTS of stuff to tempt. Really friendly owner who is happy to give advice. As a new "late life" sewing person I felt comfortable browsing with no pressure to buy. Got some nice Christmas fabric and will soon pop back for more. Update August 2022- The shop has moved down a few doors and grown bigger and able to show more of the stock. It also now has a dedicated workshop area where different classes are regularly held (Overlocker skills, Crochet, Bag making with others being planned). I started of making facemasks during the pandemic and now make bags/handbags as a hobby.

Just Sew Simple is an amazing wee shop run by Michaela who is so helpful. She has an amazing stock of good quality knitting, sewing and crochet items at really good prices and holds a vast selection of fabrics and yarn. Well worth a visit and no pressure.
