Highly recommend for New Build Properties - have had a fantastic service from Lawrence, Kevin and the team. Originally came to them after receiving a extortionate quote from John Lewis and others. Came to Alf Onnie originally just looking for material, on that day Lawrence must have given me nearly 2 hours of his time. The selection of fabric and the knowledge was extremely helpful. After this experience, I decided to give them the entire job. I have a new build property with 2 bedrooms and wanted floor to ceiling curtains with nets. George came to measure and fit my curtains each time, lovely guy with years of experience. Really care for the job he was doing, even helped me when I was being indecisive with two fabric options! Results speak for themselves, and I’d always suggest relaying on long reviews with pictures when it comes to business. All in all the job came into c.£4,500 (include of VAT) which was over £1,750 less then John Lewis quote - and I received a much much better service. I also reviewed detailed invoices and estimates clearly breaking down the cost. Great local business and would 100% use again.

Where to start with Alf Onnie Curtains?! It was my first time here and I was blown away by the professional and personable nature of ALL the staff here. As soon as you walk through their doors you feel instantly welcome and they have extensive experience in all things curtains! I initially went in for voile curtains - which I did get- then I was attracted to their beautiful display of pencil pleat curtains which I got also! I made an error with my curtains at home with the strings ( don't ask) and Alf Onnie to the rescue. They sorted it all out and I feel very satisfied with both the products and service. Highly recommend!

The team at Alf Onnie' have be brilliant. They provided a made to measure and fitting service for our new house. Everyone at the shop and the team on the house visits were excellent. By the time the curtains and blinds went up we felt like we had new friends. The quality of the products and the fitting were both excellent. Good value for money too. Personally I would not buy curtains and blinds from anywhere else.

A 100 year old family run business offering personalised service. Highly recommended.

Great selection of fabrics. Alot of fabrics dont have price tags only a code only the shop will understand which makes it difficult to know where to look and embarrasing because u have to keep having to ask for price for this and that wich they have to get a folder an check. Prices seem to vary from person to person which i find strange. They offer a good customer service and advice. They are very expensive wich is why one star less. I do recomend this place.
