Ambala sweets is somewhere I used to go to since I was a child. Back then we used to go to the shop in Drummond Street. The quality and taste remain the same but now there is more variety. Sweet shops come and go but nothing matches the quality, taste and consistency of Ambala.

Was lucky it was open on Diwali (Sat 14th Nov), had to queue outside for about 30mins due to regulations, went fairly quick once inside although felt rushed as there were a lot of ppl waiting but that's Iike any place I suppose. Good selection of sweets, although didn't like the jalebies, too thick and tasted off. Veg samosas nice and crunchy but filling is mostly potatoes. Felt like having spend almost £50 they could have thrown in one or two extra sweets as good will gesture but oh well I guess they don't care about keeping loyal customers happy 🙄
