Spoke to a wonderful gent called Simon over the phone who was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Haven't always had a positive experience with camera shops in London (staff elsewhere have been unusually rude) but from now on I'll be coming here first for repairs and film stock.

They really know what they are doing. I almost spent more than 400 pounds in other store for a lens repair. Took it to Aperture and they fixed it in 15 minutes for FREE, although some parts are beyond repair. Knowing that it would be hard to use, they then gave me a lens for FREE too, not a new one but still usable. Definitely will recommend this to anyone.

Over my 7 years in the UK, Aperture shop has been my favorite camera shop in London, and by a fair margin ! The staff is helpful, knowledgeable and very polite. No problem getting a warranty service on your second hand equipment. They properly check, clean and rate their equipments and price them fairly well. I got several keepers over those years thanks to them. Even from abroad I would consider dealing with them, as they are easy to reach by email for answering further questions about their items. A real 5 stars shop and services !
