A. B.For fans of Pusheen and all cute cartoons, such as BTS, Hello Kitty and more! If you're a fan, this place is a must! With everything from mugs to pencils, baby food bowls to silk shirts. Top quality merchandise, fabulous staff making everyone feel so very welcome! Its a small shop so limited customers allowed entry at once. We had to queue up outside for our turn, but got in within around 20-30 minutes. So much to choose, well laid out and amazing staff. Well worth a visit!
L.i’ve been going to art-box since I was 9 it is probably my favourite shop in the entire world the workers are so sweet. some tips; the things are sometimes quite pricey because they’re shipped from other countries just a heads up and allot of the time they have things in store that are exclusive items you won’t find on the website so it’s always worth it, there’s sometimes a que max like 12 people though it’s nothing major, i love this shop with my entire heart please go support them!!!!!
B. W.ARTBOX is a lovely local business that sells imported Japanese goods that you really can’t get anywhere else! The staff are amazingly kind and you really can tell how passionate they are!
It’s such a friendly atmosphere and the shop was a joy to be in. It’s very small but that makes it even cuter!
S.£40 for a low-quality plush from a UFO catcher, £8 for pen from a UFO catcher.. even if you bought these items off resellers on Rakuten etc and paid for shipping and import duties you’d pay less than half of what this store charges. At least if you’re going to charge a huge markup, don’t sell poor quality UFO stock.
M. N.This is just the sweetest place!! A haven for anyone who loves Japanese characters etc. You can argue that it's a bit pricey, but honestly these are imported from Japan (original SANRIO etc) and so it makes them worth it as the quality is good and it's not just something cheaply printed on to fabric etc. I loved it and I will be back in the future.
N. “. M.Was okay, I visited for the first time and I found the store cute but a little on the small side. Also things displayed in the window wasn't for sale inside the shop. I liked the queue system and the way staff were dressed. Sadly I didn't buy anything because I feel there was more plushes than anything but also a bit on the pricy side for me, but that's just my humble opinion. Nice for a quick browse though.
L. E.Great selection of cute stationary and plushies. A little bit pricey but to be excepted. Staff are lovely and you can tell they enjoy working there. Selection is quite limited compared to their website, so I was a bit disappointed when I couldn't find a lot of the things I wanted.
D. E.Cute store and lovely staff. The store is a lot smaller than I anticipated. When I visited, they had an online queuing system which they were trialing. This was really appreciated as the weather was awful, so it was nice to know we could explore indoor somewhere else and then come back when it was our turn. They have a wide range of plushies, but feel like there could be so much more. (Obviously very limited due to the size of the store). I think a visit to the Brighton branch would be better.
