The best thing about living in the area for 6 years was this place, I recently made a 300 mile round trip to go back there! Charlie is fantastic, exceptionally knowledgable in geology and all things rocks and fossils, wonderful selection every time I’ve been and always spending double the amount I’ve budgeted. The 30th anniversary weekend a couple of years ago was so brilliantly organised and such a fun weekend, big hats off to Sacha in particular for that as well as her social media updates! I dread to think how much I’ve spent there over the years but I can guarantee I’ll always go back there, just the best crystal shop I’ve experienced. Affordable and good quality crystals, although i think their range could be expanded a little more. Apart from that, everything in this shop from incense to crystals to fossils are all affordable (unless you are going for the big big things!) and good quality. You can find 2 trays with hundreds of crystals all from 50p - £4 in a single tray, which also have labels to make it a-lot easier for crystal beginners who do not know them by heart. Whether you are going for small or big, this shop has something for everyone. I went with my aunt who isn’t so big on this type of stuff, but once she bought an amethyst bracelet she instantly fell in love. Thank you, i recommend going here. Not so much for littler kids, but suitable for older teens and adults who are interested in this type of stuff. Good service, will come again.

I love Charlies Rock shop! I feel very fortunate that it is only a few miles from my home. I have been coming here for many years as it is a lovely shop, there is so much variety, chances are you will find what you are looking for! Charlie and his staff are lovely, very knowledgable about minerals and fossils. His prices are very fair! Overall, a very lovely shop and always a joy to visit. If you are travelling from far you can definately make a day out of it as the shop is in merton abbey mills where there are nice places to eat and some lovely small businesses, there is a craft market on the weekends and the shop is a short walking distance from Morden Hall Park (national trust) with a beautiful stream, an old watermill and also a little farm nearby, which i forget the name of now. Really love this place as it has reasonable prices and a very large selection of crystals. The employees are lovely. Though the store does get busy with lots of young teens, so be prepared for that as they often stand in front of sections not caring they are blocking it for other customers. Other than that, I really love this shop. Please be considerate of the other customers when you are shopping!

First visit to Charlie's I loved it! I have an autistic child who generally hates small spaces, but loved it. The shop was crowded but we were able to navigate easily and the other customers were helpful and respectful. My child did pick up crystals and I expected to be met with disappointment but Charlie was a gracious host. Please book online, as we did because you're given priority access. What I would've loved would've been, time to talk about the crystals with someone, guided through and a little information to accompany the crystals. Can't wait to come back!

I booked online and visited the same day. The shop has a broad variety of stones and other items such as sage, beautiful jewellery etc. which are all carefully labelled so you know exactly what you are getting. I found the shop very easy to navigate which was great as this was the first time I have ever shopped for crystals. The shop definitely had a lightheartedness to it and also staff were responsive and willing to help. I obtained a variety of crystals that were well priced. I will certainly be visiting again and I highly recommend!

A bit of a trek to get there from where I live , but definitely worth the effort. A wonderful assortment of stones, crystals and jewellery and other new age items. The staff are very knowledgeable and happy to share their wisdom. I always need ages to look and touch before I choose and I am grateful for being made welcome to leave me to it. Also very happy with the prizes. There is something for every budget. Comparing with other crystal shops I found everything very reasonable. This was my second visit and I certainly will shop again in the future.

Great shop for rocks. As a planetary science student I am please to find the staff know their rocks inside and out. Both from a geologic point of view and from a holistic point of view (for those inclined). They have a massive collection of cut, uncut and sculpted rocks, crystals and minerals of all types. They also sell fossils and a couple of meteorites, as well as incense and related paraphernalia. Highly recommended.

Just simply a beautiful shop tucked secretly away in Merton Abbey Mills. I was recommended by another customer and I was taken aback by the choice in stones, both raw and polished, as well as witchcraft paraphernalia and handmade jewellery pieces. Cannot recommend this shop enough if any of the above takes your fancy!! Can't compare it to any other shops nearby!! Thank you Charlies :)

Beautiful crystals and a lovely feel. Love going to this place to oggle at the huge crystal spheres and amethyst geodes. I could spend hours here! Lots of helpful advice offered if needed and a huge variety available, including books, candles and incence.

Huge range of crystals, gemstones and fossils all reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and always willing to help including the eponymous Charlie, who has an encyclopedic knowledge of the geological qualities. He seems to be a purist in regards to the stones so asking him which crystal activates what chakra or which stone will help you speak to your guides is futile! The other members of staff deal with that stuff aspects of the crystals and have an wealth of knowledge in regards to the spiritual aspects of stones. Its a great place for rock hounds, healers, new-agey types or those who love pretty trinkets.
