Reviews of Crofton Park Community Library

Absolutely love having this bookshop in Crofton, it's wonderful to have a great local bookshop! The staff are always so nice & helpful, and the selection of books is brilliant, I could spend hours browsing their shelves!

Ramshackle in the best possible way. Good selection of books in a charmingly chaotic arrangement. Worth a visit.

Great community run library. Please support your local library.

Wonderful chaos. Good community library /shop which is a bit of a throwback to a previous age (when libraries were everywhere). It's worth leaving some time to allow yourself to dig. They have a range of different titles available and there's always a suprise lurking.

Now run by volunteers, The library is still a popular place to go. there is a wonderful coffee shop and as you would expect many books. They have many activities going on for old and young, I agree with the other comments its not a place to go and study, silence in the library has sadly gone, but still worth a visit

A community run library with a lovely atmosphere. Run by friendly volunteers. There is a small coffee shop and you can use the computers if you are a member. People often spend hours here. Some courses and groups also run here.

Volunteers are keeping this local gem open following council plans to close it. It has diversified it's offerings in order to keep afloat: IT reconditioning/recycling, affordsafble cafe, interesting bookshop, community activities such as children and yoga groups. Long may it remain open.

My grandchildren and myself love the library .They have a cafe ,toilet ,.,books for sale and a childrens section .It is also used for other community activities . It is managed by volunteers and lacks some of the amenities of a Lewisham managed library but is well worth supporting .

For a public service that has had its funding cut to the point of extinction I think it's wonderful to see volunteers giving so much to keep this community space running still. It doesn't matter that it's not perfect. All that matters is that it is.

Very useful local facility, long may it continue..so please give it your support when you can.

A friendly buzz of a local community with great coffee at a reasonable price, but if your looking for silence, i would suggest the British Library.
