It depends what you are looking for. The trimmings are a bit overpriced for what I assume is mostly synthetic and polyester. Having said that, this store carries a wide range of colours and sizes of zips, trims, waistbands and ribbons. I loved the amount of fuchsia and bright orange available. I managed to pick up a lot of guipure lace trim. I wish the fibre content was mentioned and I doubt this will happen because the lack of natural fibres was pretty disappointing. They only stock polyester Gütermann thread. The only cotton thread is quilting thread. The staff are not as unfriendly as these reviews indicate. I only saw one person as I came in and she was blunt but she wasn’t rude. I checked out with someone else. She was friendly and polite.

If you're looking for all the sparkly sparkles for your gowns in Central London, this is a place to go. Lot of sew-on crystals and sequins galore! I can see lot of people complaining about prices or staff. Prices have been riding in general for many specific reasons and also you have to have in mind the location of the shop. If any person has issues with that, then check in other place, but there's no reason to pay it with the staff. I've seen many customers being rude with them just because they don't offer samples -for example-. It's their shop policy and you should respect that, and screaming and degrading people is only showing the kind of person you are. Staff there has always been nice and it's one of the few places left in London where you can find beads or accessories for jewelry making.

Great little place with an excellent selection of trimmings and zips and elastic and beads! Bought a few metres of drawstring and elastic for less than £10, a lot more affordable than the fabric shop in my hometown 😁 Plus the staff are really nice!

Beautiful display as you enter. I was so impressed. Great service that staff are so helpful in this store! And I was absolutely amazed by the range of stock that they have here. It’s a shame it’s so hidden away! Thanks all!!

Rarely go here but when i do i spend a bit of time and i am always pleasantly surprised and get so excited and carried away. So many lovely things and really friendly staff too

My jaw dropped when I saw the huge selection crammed in such a little space. It also dropped when I was paying for the items at the till. Very overpriced.
