S. C.When it was time to purchase quality carpet and to get it fitted to my stairs, I knew where to go!!! 10 years ago, they did a fantastic job! Jason assisted me on the day of my visit. Very warm welcome and friendly service followed. Today Carl and Sam turned up bright and early and did an AMAZING job, I am over the moon!!!! Would recommend these guys anytime!!!! J. C.Surprised by negative review on here. We had a very different experience. We had originally chosen a carpet with Tapi but thought we'd try a local firm to see what deals we could get. The owner (?) Jason came and measured and left lots of samples but we were indecisive and did some looking around ourselves. Jason was happy to lend us more samples until we found one we liked but in the end we found a Cormar carpet we liked which they were able to source for us. The fitters turned up when they were supposed to and were in and out really quickly. Two doors needed trimming and they did this without any fuss at all and no dust. I had my previous flat carpeted in SE London and the fitter left the doors off the hinges! Lovely finish to the job as well and the new carpet feels great. We went with a 10mm underlay which feels really springy. We are getting more of the house decorated and carpeted and wouldn't hesitate to deal with Jason again. Best of all the pricing with fitting was about £120 less than the large chain. I think maybe the issue in the other reviews is down to the fact that there appears to be several local carpet places in Hackney all similarly named. This one is almost opposite the entrance to Hackney Central.

We were worried about how we'd manage having carpets fitted in the living room, bedroom and hallway as we live in a one-bedroom flat and have so much stuff. We needn't have done: the fitting team were brilliant. They were really friendly and just got on with the job, quickly and professionally with a minimum of mess, even though they had to take the bottom off six doors. So happy with the carpets and how the job was done. I'd recommend Fitted Carpets wholeheartedly.
