Reviews of Foyles at Royal Festival Hall
Wow this is a very cool paradise for the readers n researchers. This is modern space for selling books. Superb location just right by the River Thames. Variety of books n writers. Just pop in if you are into books n visiting around this area which is very famous because of LondonEye, Westminster, Bigben etc
Buy a book and read it by the river !
Best book shop
Most interesting shop
The best
nice book shop
Such a great place!
Something for everyone.
Cute
Great little bookstore
As great as usual
Starting to worry about the number of tourists and increasing stocks 9f non English language titles..in danger of losing the character we were promised would be maintained when the store moved. Coffee shop no longer the go to place in central London...too many Apple Mac's and lingering students...and miss the soundtrack music...
Had what I wanted
Great service!!
Just another bookshop
Great library
Heaven
Good selection.
Good selection
Lot selection
It is open!
Great place.
Lovely little bookshop by the Thames/Southbank Centre. I always find interesting books in store and love the physical books in a digital world!
Friendly service.
Books
An interesting spot
Shopping England
We carry books in all fields ✨
Casual with some Japanese manga
Beautiful bookstore with many books of all kinds, with a wide selection of children's books. Plus, the view of the Thames and its location on the South Bank make it a relaxed and friendly location, perfect for browsing your shelves.
Great, thank goodness there are still bookstores like this, ideal for having a coffee or to browse and buy the latest news.
Good bookstore with good books... shame it doesn't have some authors...
Small bookstore, even has ones with only pictures of cats. Prices are a bit high.
Having books on antiracism front and center made the store a welcome haven yesterday.
Prices are to be expected and staff are friendly. Only problem is trying to find your wanted section amongst the thousands of books that are there!
Very small. The Charing Cross bookstore is much better
(Translated) Complete library with a variety of current books. A good place to find that last minute gift
(Original)
Libreria completa y con diversidad de libros actuales. Un buen lugar donde encontrar ese regalo de última hora
Good selection of English-language books. If you're in the area it's worth a visit.
In the summer, lounge chairs are actually offered here for reading... but it is very busy
A large library with several floors containing thousands of books, along with a café
Nice library but without reading seats
Girl.. Little variety of textbooks
Great books. Wide selection.
Good bookstore!
☺️
Foyles is always a good chain to visit. This shop is fairly large and has a good range of books. Their recommendations are always thoughtful and interesting and the categories are broad. Staff are friendly and seem to enjoy the ethos behind Foyles. Don't forget that there are often bookstalls on the Southbank, so between the two you can get a good selection!

An exceptional bookshop for all book readers, and writers. Unbelivable variety of subjects covered in thousands of books. Very facinating just to discover a book on a subject that you have never heard of. A mind opener, full of knowledge and very inspiring to all book lovers. One could easily spend a 3 hrs or more just looking and reading front/back covers of those exiting books. They regularly have some lecture or event related to books, authers, readers etc at the bookshop but do check their website for current events. A lovely casual cafe to sit, relax and read a book or work on your laptop while sipping your coffee, tea or soft beverage. Plenty of other food and shopping nearby in a walking distance.
Great bookshop and selection. Always has very good staff recommendations and really convenient location.
Lovely shop. Great selection of books.
Paradise for readers and researchers. Attendants are genuinely interested in books. The only trouble is that customers may easily fall into temptation and buy more books than originally planned. Most welcome temptation, in fact.
Nicely organised. Prices were not bad compared to Amazon for the game I bought. Reasonable covid measures. Nice place to saunter round.
Foyles puts the bookshop in bookshop! It's a treat to spend time there. Would love there to be more Foyles around UK. But the range of stock and the staff are hard to improve. Great place.
OK store. Especially nice to have one (in general, as they're a dying breed but also) at Southbank in conjunction with the second-hand book stalls outside. But it is a limited store, missing a category or two. Still, they've managed to have a good and interesting selection of books, as well as some random items up for grabs.
Pop in. Why not
Obviously a smaller selection than their main store, but still worth a look around. Great place to browse while waiting for a friend or to escape the London rain, or to wander in after a long day of exploring the city.
Fairly representative and current stock across the genre spectrum with few surprises or divergences.
Full Publishers' recommended prices the norm here though bargains be thin on the ground. You would need to wait now for the winter of their discountent.
A contemporary, bright and spacious interior with eager and mindful staff flittering about.
Good sized bookshop selling a wide variety of genres and authors. Shop is in a great location and setting on the Southbank right by the Golden Jubilee Bridge.
Great selection of books and a good location. I bought Starveacre and The National Trust book of crumbles.
Appealing bookstore with a great selection of beautiful books, including children's, plays and unusual novels inspired by the arty Southbank. Staff are extremely knowledgable and you can also find a small but lovely selection of bookish presents such as Penguin's famous mugs and tote bags.
Lovely bookshop we found on accident. But was oh so lovely to browse through their great assortment.
Lovely little bookstore right by the river with a great selection of books. I could enjoy simply walking around and looking at all the interesting books they sold.
Good selection of books and puzzles, excellent location! Well worth visiting
The shop is easy to navigate and they have a wonderful selection of books.
Best bookshop in London. Huge range of books with helpful staff and a very good cafe upstairs with good options for small meals

The Foyles branch in Southbank is not the biggest bookstore in London, but for reasons unknown this is where I have the most fun strolling through books. It probably has to do with the way the books are displayed. The children's section is also nice. In terms of Covid-19 measures there is hand sanitiser at the entrance, but you don't have to wear plastic gloves, as I had seen in other bookstores.
Good selection of books 👍🏽 it's a thumbs up from me
Nice place to grab a quick read when at the southbank center not a huge selection but pretty good

5 stars for a lovely shop with an inventive stock but one star deducted for being unnecessarily expensive.
Great location, not the best catalog of books
Good selection of books - categories of books well labelled.
I love it. I love books and to find something what surprise me
An exceptional selection of books . A day or three spent here is never wasted.
Great book store, good variety.
Great place to visit. Gets full but you do get to see all the paintings.
Younger brother of Tottenham Foyles. They have a good collection of books. Mainly humanities, literature etc. i guess. Worth a visit. Near Thames. Good place to hang out.
Lovely little bookstore right by the river with a great selection of books. I could enjoy simply walking around and looking at all the interesting books they sold.
THE place for book lovers. Foyles is simply a wonderful bookshop.

Quaint but not as immersive as other book shops
Best book chain in the world. Any branch always gets a visit from us.
Great shop. Helpful staff who are always able to locate books that are otherwise hard to get hold of.
Really nice and very friendly staff.
small store but great selection:)
Great bookstore with very nice and friendly staffs!
Quaint but not as immersive as other book shops
Lovely selection of books on a huge range of topics. The staff are helpful and share anecdotes about their experience of your purchases whilst you’re at the till, which is a nice touch. It’s not cheap but the books are beautiful and worth the investment.
As usual I love the variety of different topics always update
A good range of books for it's small size
