I. B.A good range of relatively inexpensive paint, decorators materials. I went here especially for the brilliant white emulsion paint which was the cheapest by far. They normally deal with trade here but general public are welcome too.
L. P.They are a very helpful and friendly bunch of chaps over at Whites, and colour matched a well known 'heritage' style brands' colour in a soft sheen formulation for me. The colour matching is spot on - and its about a 1/3 of the price of the other brand. They even helped me carry all my paint to the car - I am one happy customer. Don't bother with the big chain stores - White's is the place for paint and decorating supplies.
W. M.Definitely a trade shop, but most staff are tolerant of DIYers such as myself. Good prices and they have everything you need for a good job. A real gem to have locally.
