F. G.I want to give a five star review for this shop, as it usually is very welcoming and they have very nice treats and doggy items. I had my puppy groomed here and it was done very well, I give props to the groomers. Usually the staff is very friendly and I enjoy coming there.
But I have to admit that I could not give them 5 stars. I had a really stressing experience when I took my dog in for a groom the second time and was given a price I didn't understand. The situation turned very bitter over something that just needed a little explanation. I think I was partly to blame for the mistake but it was also the shops fault for not being clear about the pricing and allowing time for an explanation, especially as I am recent costumer and not very familiar with their cost scheme. I went back to try and apologize, but it didn't work. I was told how poor and disrespectful I am as a customer. And just so you know, they filled the appointment very quickly. I really felt bad how I was treated. In the end my son and I were treated with anger (I even got a text message full of insult). Make sure you know the pricing and pay in advance for grooming, to avoid the sad situation like mine.
Looking through the reviews I can see the staff behave sadly once and while. I hope it doesn't happen to you.
M. F.I've actually been coming here for years and a bit shocked at myself that i haven't written a review before. This place is absolutely fantastic. The groomers are like magicians and the staff are knowledgable, friendly and so accommodating. One of the real local gems in the area!

D.Our 10 year old Cockapoo Charlie came for a groom for the first time today, he did not cry when we left him ( which he usually does ) and when we came to collect him he was just chilling in the shop front with 3 other dogs, his cut is great and he had a lovely experience, look forward to seeing you again
R. J.Holly&Lil had such a wide selection of treats/games/accessories/more for both dogs and cats - I bought my dog the items in the photo for Christmas a while ago and he's loved his dog fries and (amazingly) hasn't destroyed the ball yet so you guys must be selling top-quality products :)
The best part was the dogs that were roaming around in-store, made it a great interactive experience and meant we didn't want to go back to work. Staff were really friendly and chatty too, loved it here
K. S.I have quite a collection of Holly&Lil collars now, (having 11 dogs🙄) my very first were the dice collars for my Standard poodles some 7 years ago. The quality is second to none, and in all those years not a SINGLE dice has even come loose, and they are still as good as new! Customer service...... what can I say - the whole team at Holly&Lil are like family, always warm and welcoming, and helpful in any way they possibly can be. I’m so grateful to be one of their pack! The collars ALL look stunning, and I’m asked almost daily where they are from by people all over the world! ......... the only problem is they are VERY addictive, (and they are my version of a guilty secret!......... I don’t tell hubby how much I spend on them) 😉😊

B. B.Went to have my dog nails clipped just now. Almost everyone there was super friendly except for the brunette lady who kept staring and making angry faces at us because our dog was barking. Maybe she should look for another job? I won’t be coming back, which is a shame since all the other employees were very nice.
Having said that, they do offer a good selection of dog treats and toys.
I’m very sorry that my experience was ruined by the poor service of ONE person.

K. G.It's one of the best things about living in Bermondsey! Great team, great shops! Our dog has several collars, it may cost a tad more than a collar from pets at home but they're handmade, unique and beautiful designs which certainly can't be bought at pets at home! Shop local :-)
