Amazing customer service and beautiful fabric. The team are so helpful. I couldn’t get to London to the shop so ordered online snd they contacted me to suggest another colour of one of my materials as it was a better match and they were so right. I have been a client of Joel’s for some forty years (time does fly!) and feel like an old personal friend. I greatly appreciate their fabulous selection of luxurious, timelessly elegant fabrics. Now that I don’t travel to London that often I find their online shop is excellent, I was hesitant of placing an order for delivery from the UK to the EU but, by some sort of magic, my parcel arrived the day after I placed my order. I found this amazing shop on google and could not wait to visit. Having spoken to Dom on the phone and heard his confidence in finding the fabric for my mother of the groom outfit, I became very excited in the lead up to the visit. I was not disappointed! Dom had instructed me to take one of the wedding day shoes with me ( I had already had an outift made pre lockdown but had gone off the boil with the finished result) as a solid starting point. The shop is just unreal. A million or so metres of fabric. Dom helped me all the way to match a beautiful pure silk with an overlay of French silver lace that looks stunning with the shoes and bag. Not cheap, but worth every penny! Thanks Dom!

PLEASE READ WHOLE REVIEW I placed an order for some cupro lining for a bespoke suit, and the order arrived quickly, packaged nicely. After delivering it to my tailor, he brought it to my attention he was going to need at least another meter. I ordered the exact same color as my first order, and to my surprise, when the second order of lining arrived, it was a different color than my first order. I notified Joel & Son and they immediately acknowledged the mistake and sent me enough fabric for an entire suit in the color I desired at no additional cost. Keep in mind I live in the states, and this ship is based out of the U.K. I truly appreciate this shop, their customer service is unmatched, not to mention their selection of fabrics is of the highest quality. I will definitely be ordering through Joel & Son again for any of my future needs.

I had a fantastic experience here shopping for suiting cloth to bring back to Singapore. Came in to purchase 3.5m for a suit and left with almost 18 meters of luscious Loro Piana wool as well as shirting fabric. I received fantastic service from Basil who made excellent suggestions and even looked for the odd 'leftover' piece just enough to make a pair of trousers. Although the fabrics were not cheap, I think the prices were very reasonable - you get what you pay for. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured to make purchases which made the shopping experience simply wonderful. At checkout, I was served by Mr. Jones' son who was an absolutely lovely gentleman. Can't wait to shop here again in the future!

I was looking for fabric for an evening jacket and lace for a special dress. There were so many options at different price points that I was spoilt for choice. It took quite a lot of time for me to decide. Throughout the entire process, Peter offered me drinking water, was charming and discreet in guiding me towards what suited my complexion best. Oh wow! I visited Joel & Son many years ago and have watched with interest as they have expanded their online offerings (I'm in Sydney - so store visits are out). After poring over the gorgeous fabrics for many months I bought a wool challis remnant last week and was bowled over by both the fabric and the service. I have a very difficult time finding exceptional, quality cotton, here in the US. Everything here seems to be geared to the non iron cotton. Who wants that touching their skin? Joel and Sons - a name to remember. I am a sewer of over 40 years and have lately taken to making my own clothes again. It is not that I am a snob but I believe that if you work with the best fabrics then your efforts will be the best. The range of fabrics is sensational and the quality is second to none. Delivery has been the next day which by any standards is amazing given postal deliveries. I would recommend this service to anyone and even when fabric is out of stock the email is courteous and apologetic. Oh my word... What a selection of fabrics, I have never seen so many fabrics under one roof I had a list of materials to buy and some samples to get.. The great staff here fulfilled every request. Even the eclectic decor is a treat If you are after some fabric this has to be the greatest place to visit, judging by the range on show if they do not have it it does not exist.. We wandered around for 30 mins, we asked to be left alone and we were, until we needed help.. Really nice to be left to enjoy the store without any pressure

Beautiful laces, silks, breathtaking cottons, truly I dare you to search their site and not be totally confused of how many fabric choices you cannot live without!
