Unfortunately we moved out from west London few years ago, now it takes me almost 2 hours to reach La Page Librarie, however it is worth it! Wide selection of french books with lovely ambiance and staff! Always a pleasure for my soul to come back.

If you're after French books or magazines in the London area, I cannot imagine that there's a better place to go. Their range is current and absolutely amazing. The negative though is the pricing. Justifiably, their prices are quite high, and if you have a regular connection to France, you'd be much better off either shopping their on your next trip, or asking someone to put them in a box and send them over to you. But otherwise, I doubt you will get a better range online or offline anywhere nearby. Paperbacks, reference books, magazines, academic books as well as comics and BDs. Good range on all fronts.

I love this bookshop and it's nice to walk into a bookshop that stores different languages and none of them in English. No English. In London. Wow. That's awesome. I love the book covers, the layout and the walking around bit. I understand nothing but it's nice to look at the different books not in English.

A genuine, very well stocked, French bookshop (and a little more) in the Hart of London's "French" quarter where you can also find the Consulate, the French institute and the French school, the Lycée.

I just love going to this French book shop and pop in every time I go to London, to the Institut Français or the Frebch Consulate, both nearby. You can.pop in if you are visiting the Science Museum or the V&A Museum as they are round the corner too! The people who work there are most friendly and helpful; they answer your questions without putting any pressure on you to buy anything, and let you browser in peace. On my last visit, I spent over an hour in there! Whether you speak French or want to buy a book in French for someone, you will be very welcome and find what you want there, I can guarantee it. I will keep going every time I visit!

An extension of French literature in London. I love this bookshop for the variety of books they sell at an affordable price. We do not have a FNAC in London, but La Page bookshop is as good as. Very helpful staff as well. Highly recommended for those who want to read in French.
