Reviews of London Irish Centre
C. G.
It was a lovely evening in the Irish Centre. Great talent & a great atmosphere. ☘💚
D. M.
Lovely venue for large or small functions. They are a few halls available for hire with a bar.
The place is well maintained and clean. Staff not to bad had a function was a lovely evening I would attend again.
The only downfall was the parking permit outside so be careful when parking.
J.
Great place for salsa dancing ! Will be definitely coming back !
M. O.
Welcoming centre for Irish people in need as well as those from all communities. Also great place for exploring Irish culture and language.
G. D.
Been working at the LIC for quite a while. A great venue, and a brilliant community!
C. J.
A fantastic venue in a lovely location. Highly recommended.

Lovely venue for any occasion quite roomy has a few functions rooms and a bar. The only downfall is restricted parking.
W. S. L.

I lost my husband in February and I didn’t know where to go or who to turn to I rang the London Irish center for some help and my god have they helped me,I have a lovely kind lady Cath who is helping me with many things as everything was in my husbands name it felt at times very overwhelming but Cath is there just hearing her voice makes me feel so much better she is helping me with everything from arranging vouchers for me to helping with all kind of forms that I have no clue about,I would recommend these great people to anyone in need of help most of all I want to say thank you to the lovely Cath Coleman she is one lady🤗 I never put in that all my family live in Dublin as do my husbands family,so to be going through his death with no support there in person has been so hard but as soon as Cath rings me it’s like a great friend is ringing me I would be lost without this wonderful place and it’s dedicated workers so again to Cath and all at the London Irish center Thank you

Very nice place location wise. Very near to camden town tube station 5 minutes walking distance. The center is very nice well decorated. Big program hall and basic facilities.
C. D.
Nice venue for lots of things from comedy to magic tricks. It has some small rooms upstairs and hence does events of all sizes,
A couple of well stock bars that are run by friendly helpful people, where the drinks are reasonably priced.
The toilets are clean and well maintained.

Went to music show in the chapel in the attic. Limited seating but plenty of cushions to make yourself comfortable on the floor. No disabled access to this particular room but not sure about the rest of the building. Pleasant acoustics and no discernable outside noise although there were other events occurring at the same time in the building. Licensed bar was open serving a good selection of alcoholic and soft drinks, which we were able to take into the performance room. Relaxed and easy going venue. A bit of a walk from the nearest tube station (Camden Town) but easy enough if it isn't inclement weather otherwise take a brolly just in case. Plenty of free parking in local streets available in the evenings.

The night was amazing, wonderful, challenging and uplifting. The program was so brilliantly put together with the "Queens of the Irish Centre" showing the work of the centre and fantastic role of women in our lives. Thank you for a truly wonderful evening.

I used to visit here regularly in the 70's but only came back for an Irish music night last year.It has changed its appearance dramatically for the better.i had been back a number of times including last night with friends to see Pat Shortt an Irish comedian.
He was the guy who wore the "I shot J.R." t.shirt in Father Ted.My stomach was sore from laughing.Laughter is truly a great medicine. The centre has got a welcoming, laid back feel about it.The staff are friendly, bar staff efficient and people line up behind each other to get served at the bars.Very English?.The Centre does a lot with the Irish community. Those who are living on the margins of society get practical help and succour here. You don't have to be Irish to come here,so check it out sometime.
L. B.
Great conference facilities, although some of the venue such as the toilets could do with some TLC. However staff were fab and really helpful. Prices very reasonable and it’s a social enterprise!
C. B.
Wasn't impressed with their search at the entrance policy however once inside the venue itself was very good.. Bar prices were a tad expensive and the bar staff not very helpful though its fair to say that they were extremely busy on the night.. Will not be coming back anytime soon..
T.
Helped me, my partner and Mum, no end!

#jabbingnotstabbing event held there on the 21st December 2019. At least 6 of my fighters from Selby Boxing club Tottenham had their firsts fights that night. The venue was brilliant.
C. B.
Went to a Vegan fair here which was thoroughly decent. Venue itself was lovely and pretty much the same as every other Irish centre that I have been in! I am from a large Irish family so was very nostalgic.
W. L.
You can rent a room for you kids party for a seriously reasonable rate. And then send all the dads down to the bar while it takes place. And they do catering. Perfect.
M. H.
Thankyou for everything.matthew hilliar
J. G.
What a wonderful place to celebrate Iridh, culture, influence and history. Make new friends at the many events. Excellent advice centre and all round inclusive charity. Makes me proud to be part of the community.
M. C. H.
I did not go into this venue but used the many forgotten parking places on Camden as outside. If I remember you can get 2 hrs on the meter.
m. g.
I visited this place for a boxing match.
It put on a good event. Plenty of space with several halls and a bar with food on occasions.
L. W.
Attended for a private hire for exam sittings. The facilities are excellent and comfortable and the staff are very friendly. Building is easily accessible from Camden Road Station.
M. H.
An excellent venue for multiple needs. We use it for company gatherings and training days. Excellent services to help this - food, coffees and a bar.
P. B. R.
Great place, easy to find, with a simple bus ride from outside of Euston Station. Facilities and food are very good. An ideal place for small conferences and meetings.
F. J.
Nice Decor .. lots of space. Down side bar staff slow. Bar closes without warning at times while staff shuffle around .
E. B.
We visited the London Irish Centre for the Comedy Toilet Duck awards as part of TedFest -- it was great to see Father Ted playing as soon as we walked in, and the first thing you see when you come through the door is the bar. Which is where we went.
They do have Tayto, that's very important to note.
Drinking Guinness in there just seemed a little too on the nose, so I stuck with beer.
The centre is well kept, and it was a good night.
D. S.
Helpful staff, impressive place and rooms for hire for events. A cosy bar, disabled access and an off road bike park. Good coffee.
S. B.
