Great bookshop. With a fantastic variety of books. I found exactly what I was looking for. The latest signed Bernadine Evaristo's Manifesto! I also appreciated the friendly service. And got a lovely bag to take my books home. Happy days!

Fantastic little independent bookshop. Really cool and helpful staff. Amazing range considering the size! I went in there after three authors and got all three. Such a great selection too... no wasted shelf space. Go in and pick anything and I'll bet it's worth a read. The young lady working there was a gem. I loved it.

Support your local book shop even if it wasn't as nice as this one. Lovely staff forever helpful. Will always order something if not in stock. Although they have a great selection already.

Lovely little bookstore with focus on independent fiction (check the short story section), progressive politics and arts. A must specifically if you are interested in London related matters, this bookstore has a sizable amount of books on History of London, Urbanism, Urban Planning and architecture of London.
There's also a huge amount of old-timey classics and literature musts at good prices.
Staff was kind and helpful.

The best alternative we have found to Amazon, during the pandemic and beyond!
We started visiting the offshoot in Cheshire St, and then when things locked down, we found that this friendly bunch of Hacknians were able to take orders by request and ship them out in the mail, which worked perfectly.
Needless to say, they can order any book on the planet, and are a great local business to support at the same time.
Highly recommended.

Great support local businesses right now. I can’t wait to pop in and browse. Until then, pick ups and a great outdoor display to stare at 😊

Amazing customer service - helpful, friendly and quick to respond! They have an excellent selection of books with great ideas on their social media pages to help you find your next read. I'm so lucky that shopping local for me means coming here!

Small but essential bookshop. Well worth a visit even if you live further away. Go there buy a book or two and then head to a park nearby and read!
If weather does not permit due to rain, winter or something similar....you can always read at home or any other suitable indoor location.
