This is a very handy shop for all your pet needs. This shop covers a lot of choices for many different animals. It has a good selection of foods and medical items that you may need. The aquarium section is well stocked and the staff member I spoke to was very informative and the young lady I spoke with this afternoon was a complete pleasure and very easy to speak with. The staff are on hand if you have any questions and they are very helpful and have a good knowledge of many different areas in the pet world.

Very slow service… it takes too long for someone to pick up the phone which can be really frustrating and inconvenient. A designated receptionist may help with that, however it does get busy so it’s understandable. The vets give good advice, they’re respectful and professional.

I visited the store with my 2 very young children last week and was a bit lost as I'd never stepped into a pet store before. Mickael was amazingly helpful and guided me without pushing to sell, as I was looking to buy supplies to welcome our new kitten. He also kindly helped me carry the lot to my car, that really made a difference! How amazing would it be if we could experience this level of customer service in every store :)

Used to be well run and could get most things but now they've stopped doing some stock in there. Reptile items are very scarce in there now. They're very slow and not well stocked sometimes. We have a snake and there's always problems with getting his mice. Either they don't have any in, or don't have the sizes needed and takes upto 15 minutes to get it. We ask staff for the mice, they ask of we want 6 for the price of 5.....they then go to the back and we're waiting for upto 15 minutes for them to come back and say they don't have any or don't have the size or only have 2 or 3 so offered the deal for nothing really. I do wish we had another closer store but we don't so we have to use that one.

The staff is lovely and very helpful. I think the store could be a bit more organised and there should be better placed price tags. But other than that, it's a lovely experience and a big variety of product.

Went there few months back when I had a kitten dropped off by a friend who could not take care of the full litter his cat had. Got fantastic help in picking the right food, litter and toys along with plenty of advice on how to deal with a kitten at home. 6 months later, it is my go to place to buy everything for my little one and help is always on hand. In an age where everything is online/minimal staff, it is refreshing to talk to experts in a shop and buy the right items. Thanks Pets@Home!!!

As a shop it’s pretty standard, has stock mostly. A bit overpriced I think but all good. However the vets 4 pets, I’ve had to bring my pet several times and on average it’s been only average. Care for the pets were good but because of its business ethos. I’m unsure if sometimes what they suggest is in the best interest for the pet or for them. I can’t tell to be sure. But sometimes there are long waits and not we’ll managed but I can also appreciate the staff there working long shifts and dealing with customers are never great day in day out.

Very nice staff members, wide variety of items for your pets, you can find almost anything. It is big and the staff are extremely friendly regardless of your own attitude. Makes the shopping experience much more enjoyable rather than stressing you out at all. If they make a mistake, they will go through the effort to fix it! 👍 A great place, super helpful! Staff are very good shop is expensive you can get stuff cheaper elsewhere. However, staff do care about your pets. I bought tablets for my dog not many in the tub and lady explained they are good many customers recommend them but look online see if you can get them cheaper. They have vets here i haven't used them but seem always busy. They sell rabbits and fish here too. I like this place as plenty parking outside

Went here to have a look at their selection of fishes to help us decide what species to buy for my niece's new fish tank. We asked one of the staff in the store for some advice and he was more than willing to talk to us and help us decide which ones would be suitable for our specific tank. I was very impressed with his knowledge and his great attitude, which made the whole experience great. We ended up buying a starter kit to get the tank ready and give it a few days to settle before adding the fish.

A generally nice experience when purchasing our gorgeous new hamster was tarnished when we were mislead about the insurance offered by Pets At Home. We were told that if anything were to happen to the hamster within the first six weeks of purchase, we would be able to bring him back to their vet for free treatment covered by them. When we brought him home and noticed that something wasn't quite right, we went through all of the preliminary checks recommended to us on the internet and came to the conclusion that he had a UTI. When we brought him to the vet, we were then told that Pets At Home wouldn't cover it since it was "likely that he contracted the UTI at our home". Firstly, this wasn't true as he definitely came to us with the UTI, but regardless of that we were told that the insurance would still hold regardless of where or when he became ill as long as it was during the first six weeks of purchase. This was extremely disheartening, as we felt mislead and lied to. On top of all this, we came to Pets At Home specifically in search of a female hamster, and were told by the handler that our hamster was a baby girl, however after being with us for a little while, we noticed that he was in fact a boy! Although we love him regardless, this was quite disheartening at first and we would recommend that you take extra caution when checking for an animal's sex in future (especially for children). Please clarify your terms of insurance to the customer next time to avoid situations like this in future, and if you are thinking of purchasing an animal from here soon please do bare all of this in mind!

Even though we had the first appointment booked the store was late opening and staff weren't ready to begin vet appointments. The vet herself was well mannered and answered any questions I had. The shop itself is always clean even when there's been a doggy accident staff are quick to clean it up. Shelves are always well stocked and there are a huge variety of goods for all household pets

I visited yesterday evening (21.12.20) and got almost everything i needed for my hamster, price of products was ok, can get them cheaper elsewhere but not all in one place, which does make it easier. The person who served me was lovely, i wont say the name as i also want to mention, i was trying to give my personal details for the VIP card as discretely as possible (i dont usually like giving my details in a public place but didnt want to be rude) and i dont think the shop attendant realised how loudly they were repeating it back to me - even when i offered to put my d.o.b into the ipad it was repeated back to me quite loudly again - so please be careful with people's personal details as only a handful of details are needed for fraud (and my details were being spelled out back to me with quite a few people waiting in the queue and you can never be too careful these days).

The groomers were amazing first time visiting them and they were so professional and helpful and really cared for my lovely dog. Will be for sure coming back soon. Also the staff in pets at home were helpful with helping me find products. Not very happy about the vets place as the vet seems to want to rush you out for some reason and didn’t pay a lot of attention and was more interested in getting my dog spayed lol. But apart from that the pet store and groomers were great 🐾

Well stocked, very helpful/knowledgable/friendly. Has inhouse vet and grooming and plenty of parking. Currently comfortable to shop there, staff all masked & distancing in place. However, shame they don' t enforce the mask rule, despite plenty of signs.

These days, I am used to receiving terrible service from uninterested shop staff. That was not the case here. I was so impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff are. It wasn't a one off either, I've returned since and had the same great standard of service. I wish all shop staff were as great.

Big shop .. lots of stuff .. with a dog groomers on site. I have birds reptiles and cats. They have lizard foods -a good selection when they're refreshed, often half the pack, at least, are dead. But no snake food. The younger staff are alot more friendly and helpful than the younger ones.

I visited this evening due to my little girl being very poorly. Eleni, was extremely professional and I really felt at ease with her despite me being an over the top doggie mum. Whilst I was waiting for Cleos results, there was another couple there. The woman was very rude and demanding to Eleni but yet she kept her cool in a true professional manner. Big shop with a wide range of products from reptiles and fish to all sorts of mammals. There is a vet here and an adoption service. One of the staff members was rude to another customer which was a bit awkward to watch when I was just buying turtle food but all in all this pets at home had everything you would expect.

Well stocked and well laid-out shop for pets. They often have good discounts and special offers. There are some live animals available for purchase, like rabbits and hamsters. Even if you don't buy them, it's still great to observe them for a while :) There is also a Vet's Lab at the back.

A large store with a large selection of everything you need for your pet. They also sell fish, reptiles, rabbits, mice, rats, guinea pigs and degus. The cat section is the area I shop from and I've bought quite a few toys which my cats go absolutely crazy for. They have a large variety of different toys for cats and kittens cat bag style carriers are nice and good quality. The little lap blankets for cats are super soft. They also sell food, litter, litter trays and cleaners, beds and even some nice cat trees.

Pets at home beckon are a good retailer vet and grooming salon for your pets I dont totally agree with there fish sales policy and limiting the amount of fish they sell but there pet adoption service is a good idea and I always look there if I am looking to take home a pet so far I have given 4 unloved animals a loving home so I'd recommend giving it a look and passing on sum love there always happy to give advice and most are very Knowledgeable and I find are normally happy to help
