S. W.It’s my only experience of pets at home but I find they could do so much better! Always low on stock, can never find any staff and you can find a better curated range at online shops. It could be so much more. But definitely handy to have in the area

We didn't purposely pop by to pick something up but rather jumped in because the shop was just here.
In terms of location, it's pretty good, plenty of spaces for parking and many other shopping stores nearby.
There's many things to purchase for all species which is what you'd want i guess.

I think with the virus, social distancing and safety for all, they should follow the lead of some supermarkets and limit how many from one house hold can enter the store at any given time, it would reduce the ques and waiting time, and stop people using the store for their hour outside the home, using as a zoo to entertain their children and not buying anything. That said, the staff are always friendly and helpful, and most seem to be fairly knowledgeable. Prices for goods I've bought seem reasonable and competitive with other vendors.

J. S.Pretty big store with a few pets you can take home (Guinea pigs, rabbits and hamsters). I went there to check specifically a brand I work with so did not actually purchase anything.
G. M.First time using the Vets4Pets here as we've adopted (or rather we were adopted!) a stray cat! Lots of parking, staff were friendly, the vet was brilliant, we had lots of questions and he took the time to answer them all. They were very busy but we were seen on time. Only thing to mention is due to Covid the seating area is out of use, so we had to hang around while our cat was seen. All in all, fully recommended, this will be our preferred veterinary clinic going forwards

Good service staff are helpful and knowledgeable and great pets there. Buying a animal can never be easier. I believe the knowledge of the employees are good on animals however some animals can be kept in small spaces in which I believe an improvement can be made. Also to add to my point special attention should be kept on feeding and enriching the lives of the animals in your care. For customers reading this it’s a great place for supplies despite some reviews talking about the shelves not being stocked and well in my opinion its ok. If your buying a pet of looking for pet supplies go there

G.It's a reasonably large branch with a good selection of products. The store is relatively clean and well stocked but it is a pets at home so check the website if you are after something specific. I find their dog product selection a bit lacking and the quality of a lot of the products trends to be on the low side. They have a dog tag making machine. It's on the expensive side but the tag has greatly outlasted the one that we had from a cheap internet only competitor.

A. B.Staff are always friendly if a bit downtrodden. Loyalty card seems to give u vouchers for what u want at first, then anything except what u want, then nothing at all. So I don't bother with that anymore.
I. Q.You can only buy small pets in pairs. Most of their small pets are not used to human contact so expect to get them used to human touch yourselves.
Variety in food supply for pets is amazing. Seriously, that's the plus side.
Don't buy fish from here though.

I.It's a good place to get everything you need for your pet , however the cat food and cat litter is cheaper At ASDA next door. But Pets at Home has a huge variety of everything pet related.The in-store Vet service is very cheap 😀 compared to other local vets

K. S.My most fond memory of the particular store would be a couple of months ago I was shopping, buying pointless things like bowtie collars for my cats. Then heard a screech. I went to have a look what was up - a girls cat had managed to escape from its carrier after a vet appointment.
The staff immediately locked the door, and I joined them for the next two hours trying to find this cat who was hiding behind all of the fixtures. A couple of us ended up with scratched and bleeding arms, but it was worth it to finally return the kitty back to the family, and the young girl who was in tears.
So, long story short - the staff at the store will go above and beyond. Always helpful.
