Big store with located in a small shopping area with vehicle parking. They stock a wide variety of products catering to pets. Little animals and fishes are sold in the store. There's also a pet grooming service in store. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Never impress with the staff always ,queue and not helpful, send customers from a till to another . Instead of minimise the queue, staff are running away from the till ,passing you on to another staff and after waiting in one side ,staff are moving you on another side,just ridiculous.

Staff are very friendly and informative. Products are many and well listed and priced correctly. The shop is well spaced, light and easy to move around. On my visits I have had to queue for the checkout, although the wait isn't long and the checkout staff are very good.

Brilliant shop floor staff and security, always friendly, helpful and so accommodating.The shop Gals and guys for me personally have been a tremendous help since January 2020. Unfortunately I can’t say the same for the vets section. I found them to be unwilling to help or be accommodating during uncertain times when people are unable to work. Not allowing for pet owners to help stagger vet bills or reduce their very expensive prices. More importantly I found the vets to be not pet friendly.Especially with nervous cats.

I picked up a 'click & collect' which was all good & took minutes. Bit confusing though because as you walk in there is a sign saying 'click & collect' in front of the till so I stood there, after a while I realised you had to be in the queue from the other side of the cashier. There is no designated collection point, probably me having a senior moment but I found it confusing!

I have two cats and always take one if them there for checkups, vaccinations. The usual routines. Staff is friendly and very helpful with any queries you may have with regards to your pet/s. I like the layout and you can purchase all the items/goodies your furry darlings would need.....the best.

The staff really know their stuff. Seem to be pretty expert on animals, so ask for help and they will be able to let you know what's best for your pet. They never tried to up sell or link sell us anything. They're just helpful.

A bit short-staffed, waiting times to get support can be 10-20 mins if there are too many people in the shop, however the knowledgeable staff make it worth the while of your visit there. Good selection of fishes, aquarium and accessories.

Good shop that I can easily overspend in. Do NOT recommend getting any pets from here, however, most area noticably poorly bred and therefore come with issues (and hefty vet bills if you want that treated) - prior to knowing this I did purchase a rat here which the seller/worker actually DROPPED before I got her home, I ended up spending over £200+ on this rat in vet bills due to her poor breeding/the drop. Get pet stuff DO NOT GET PETS.

The store is ok. Mostly for bigger pets. If you have a small pet and care about it you probably wouldn't chose this particular shop. The staff is not very good at giving information about small pets or recomending supplies for them. Also it could use some more items in stock, especially in the bedding department for small pets. But if you are informed and know what you need, you can find some nice things around here.

First time going in to a Pets at Home and found the staff super helpful, as I am a complete novice. It was good to know they have a groomers in there and a vet I think (dont quote me). I downloaded the VIP app got 10% off and a handy like guide which also consist of some coupons. In terms of prices I dont know how competitive it is , but for now it's my go too.

We got our bearded dragon from here. The customer service is great. The place is a happy place to go to. All staff you encounter with seems to enjoy their work. I just had an excellent experience at this pet store. I arrived 10 minutes before the closing time and they were really patient with me, helped me get everything I needed, including an engraving for a collar tag, which was going to take them over closing time, and they still found time to pet my dog and fuss over him. Clean and presentable store, friendly, helpful staff. I always shop at Pets at Home but bit disappointed with their delivery arrangements recently. I was supposed to have "next day delivery to the store" but it took two days. Pets at Home do wonderful charity work and I love shopping at my local Chingford store but they need to sort out their deliveries that are carried out by DPD.

There's plenty of free car parking here with a couple of disabled bags out front. The aisles are nice and wide, so it's easy to move around. My only criticisms are that there are never enough staff on the checkout, although they're always pleasant and that as you leave the retail park turning right to get back onto the A406 can take time

I'm in the midst of a really unfortunate situation as we're suffering with a flea infestation, transferred through my cat. Everyone in the family has been bitten and we felt incredibly uncomfortable and overwhelmed at the situation. However as soon as I got talking to both Faith and Julie I felt calmer. Their knowledge was superb. They advised me on everything and listened patiently to my never ending cycle of questions. Both staff members are an absolute credit to Pets at Home as a company and my family and I are incredibly grateful.

First class service from the grooming team. They took really good care of Hugo, Betty and Sophie who all came out looking the best they ever looked. Got great advice on style for each of them. They were seen on time and were even finished earlier than expected. No hesitation in recommending them. Top commu ovation from them as well. Only negative thing was no reduced prices when booking more than 1 pet - having all 3 groomed was quite pricey.

Nice pet store. It's quite big and has a big assortment for any kind of pet. They have live fishes and aquarium plants, rabbits, hamsters and the like. They even have a corner when you can rehome abbandoned pets. There is a vet and a grooming room, too. Prices are not bad as well.

The shop itself is great however when I asked the lady for recommendations on puppy food she grabbed the most expensive one she could find which had terrible nutrition value and put it in my hands and told me to go to the cash desk. I go to this shop multiple times as I have a puppy of my own and except from that one incident, I find the prices and service very good. The lady at the vet reception is extremely kind and always has a smile on her face.

They are great. I love their pet care plan. My only wish is that they groomed cats as well. At the moment they only do dogs.

Dalton (my dog) had acquired several dozen matts on his coat (Breed: Coton De Tuler) due to not being brushed out after a weekly long seaside holiday with my sister in law. The in-store staff took me to the groom room as I was enquiring about brushes for taking out the matted hair in my dog. Vicky (with blue hair) at the groom room was very knowledgable and professional. After a thorough examination, she advised that clipping was needed. Before my visit, I had phoned over 30 other groomers in East London but none could fit me in that week but the Grooming Room had an opening. Vicky was extremely diligent in her grooming. It was done meticulously. For the first time at any groomer, no patches/tuffs of hair were left sticking out. The area around the ears was done diligently and with great skill. Vicky wisely advised me that if I came early, not to be seen by Dalton as this can unsettle him. She even gave me a call when the grooming was finished. I am definitely returning again to get Dalton seen by Vicky. She exceeded my expectations and was great with Dalton! 5 Stars & was one of the cheapest quotes I received.

Randomly thought of taking my son to a pet shop because we have been thinking about getting a pet for him on his birthday. I knew from driving past that this was a big one so i had high hopes for animals being sold. Checked the website and it said if you go for 4-4:30 you can feed the animals. So off we went today. We where the only ones and a really friendly member of staff named Lisa, who if she doesn't have kids should be one of those wildlife experts that show animals at kids parties or something. My son had the best time helping feed the fish and the guinea pigs and rabbits. And from a consumer perspective, they have a great selection of everything and the place was very clean. Defo 5*
