J. K.Really love this pets at home. The staff are always on hand to help direct you with and enquiries. The animals in store appear to be well looked after and regularly cleaned. Lots of products available for all types of pets. They also have a groom room and vets upstairs while is great. Lots of parking available out front
K. 1.After a very disappointing visit to shurguard looking for cardboard boxes we decided to call this store. Tyler we can not thank you enough! From the minute we spoke on the phone to the minute we left you were wonderful, you have really helped with the Ukraine crisis. The boxes you let us take have really made a difference. Thank you!
N. S.A good selection of pet supplies with friendly staff. There is also a vets. Needless to say all pets are welcome to join you in the store.
A. P. (.Very clean, both the store and animal cages. They had many different types of rodents, the rats being particularly cute. Also surprised to see they had a gerbil as I don't see those often at pet stores. All the animals seemed very sleepy.

K. M.Unhelpful and don't have a clue about anything they sell if I am honest. They don't care about the animals I have been in there and animals have no food and water the animals are dirty with little food. And they think they know stuff about animals nope better getting a book or going to the vets. Standing around waiting for someone to help or to ask someone something no one around. Horrible queues at certain times of the day with only one member of staff manning till. Where are the staff.
E. P.It's fine for big bits like beds and cages, but every time I've been the Kong toy section is practically empty (uber chewer of a dog so need them specifically)

J. H.My visits here are always fun. Just sharing with shop with the numerous dogs that attend with their owners is fun. 😀 they always have what I need and the prices are comparable to online. The only reason 4 rather than 5 stars is due to the unnecessary queue. All they needed to do was have another member of staff hop on the till.

S.There is a rat and he looks absolutely awesome, pro cutie champion.

I. S. B.Great place for all your pet needs. Parking is easy, bus route goes nearby and there are all manner of other stores nearby; Aldi, PC World, B&Q, Sainsbury’s, etc.
The staff there have been nothing but friendly and nice. They allow you to bring pets in, which is fun. My dog loves to sniff around in the dog food aisle! It could be quite useful if your dog is picky about what they eat because they can inspect it before you buy! Click and Collect is also a very simple and streamlined process. Best of all, it isn’t usually very crowded, and at the busiest of times the queue is only a few minutes waiting.

j. s.Yeah it's a lovely place for all you're pet needs. The staff are friendly and helpful, there's plenty of parking on any given day and the price is competitive. I only really go there for my cats stuff so don't really know what the other services on offer are like? But locally I've not heard any bad things. 🌞&💚

s. x.One of the bigger stores with big selection for pet needs. The store didn't have what I was looking for (discontinued in store) but the staff member did try see if there was in other stores. Landed up getting alternative. Also tried the groom room again. The Groom room is a massive improvement since last time I came here. The new management seem to really want to get this salon back to how it was before. I tried this salon again since hearing better feedback from couple of friends after having bad experience with the previous staff who didn't care much about what they were doing. The staff member with the pink hair was very welcoming and friendly. She reassured me my dog would be well looked after and enjoy the experience after I had hesitations given previous experience.
I was more than happy to rebook another appointment with her when asked and my dog took a liking to her. She certainly knows her stuff and displays confidence when explaining the different services.
Will start coming back here for sure.
D. H.Atrocious but polite experience with the vets. It took 3 phone calls to get a decent amount of information from them and they seemed intent on informing me about a national emergency. Would probably be better if they closed until it was over.

n.Very nice place, profesional staff, kindly refusing my intention to buy a fish as I wasn't going to be its owner (was planning to gift it to someone who only has a female of that kind). Although it was a bit frustrating at first, I came to understand their point of view in no time :)

M. S.My little one has been going there since a pup and he’s now 6 years old and I just can’t fault anyone there. Always helpful, always friendly and always with a smile. They even booked my little one to see the vet in 24 hours amid this pandemic has been needed antibiotics and to tackle an infection. Amazing!

C. C.I always love this store because it's big and airy, plenty of space so you can shop comfortably and move around nicely even in busy periods without feeling you're bumping into people. The people at the cashier are always patient and friendly - it also has pretty much everything that's on the website I've tried to shop online but always know I can go here to find it and see it in person if I'm never not sure. Long lines for the lockdown at the weekend but the guy at the door is friendly, and no animals are out In lockdown but before lockdown it was cute to see all the animals preparing for a new home xx

P. T.The staff here are always super friendly and clued up about pets. It's always a pleasant experience going here, so much so, that I come in frazzled and leave with a huge smile on my face. It's pet friendly, so I can pop in after a vet trip with my kitties, which is very convenient! I always spend a few moments admiring the bunnies they have in store and some day, may end up taking one home with me!
M. S.Absolutely wonderful staff! Been having problems with my kitten since we got him, was taking him backwards and forwards to a different vet, we didn't mind paying as long as he got better, he was in and out the vets like a yo yo and still had the same problems, I took him here and within a week of he's treatment made a great recovery! Staff were excellent with him! Also the pet groomers were amazing with clipping my Chihuahuas nails, she normally gets nervous but that managed to make her relax! Very impressed!

L. H.Good range of products. Staff are helpful but not always possible to find anyone. Most of the staff have a good level of knowledge on the products sold and are able to advise you on care for different pets. Recently the cages are smelling. They need to clean the cages more often.

a. h.This is a fairly standard Pets at Home. My reason for the 5 star review is the dog grooming salon. They (a nice young man called Sean) did an amazing job grooming my dog for the first time. Highly recommended
S. H.Nice staff and a fairly standard stock of pet foods, toys etc (none of the higher quality / more unusual brands are stocked, it's all Whiskers, Felix etc). We did get a great own-brand scratching post which is much taller than we've seen elsewhere and which is great for our large cat.

Live bait is also available to reptiles and aquatic pets. Staff are friendly and love animals. Fresh water for pets. Aisles are wide to allow you to walk with your pet comfortably. Plenty of free parking in car park. Disabled parking available right at the front. Next door to Aldi and Currys.

H.This is my local pet shop and like other Pets at Home stores, the prices are reasonably good (especially with the regular offers), the membership scheme is handy, and the store is generally well stocked. Sometimes the stock can get pretty low on weekends and the store is sometimes messy, hence 4 stars instead of 5!
O. B.Great selection of items and staff are friendly. Prices are ok. I went in there trying to purchase a pygmy goat and sadly they were not selling them. That destroyed my day as I really wanted was to buy a pygmy goat. They have a selection of gerbils but this is not what I was after. Sadly I have been unable to get a pygmy goat and now have 2 cats. I use this shop for cat supplies and it's always nicely stocked. If only they offered pygmy goats......

E.Friendly knowledgeable staff, clean and tidy, I overheard a young lady explaining about two breeds of tropical fish to a customer, really makes a change to hear somebody speaking correctly about something they know about, usually in other shops it's really difficult not to correct wrongful info being spouted at customers without correcting them. A really pleasant experience and will be back soon, got my eye on two Beautiful Rats who need a new home, fantastic idea rehoming animals who can't be kept by their original owners.
