My puppy loves coming here. The staff are always so helpful and friendly especially when I’ve had product queries - they are very knowledgeable. They also have helped with issues with the rewards card when I couldn’t get access to my app. The selection of products is fantastic. It also has a vet and groomers. Lots of free parking outside

Very good store. Staff are incredibly helpful at all times. The only downside is because it's so good it can be very busy and the stock flies off the shelves and staff busy - yet they still try their absolute best to help.

I have a kitten. A lot of the shelves were empty. A friend of mine got offered the 10% discount if you signed up when at the till to pay. I didnt get the offer. I didnt find the till staff very friendly. The store itself is nice especially looking at the items for other animals.

Lovely experience yesterday buying two guinea pigs for my daughter. Lewis or Louis not sure of the spelling was amazing. So helpful and ensured we had everything we needed. Gave me a detailed description of care need for guinea pigs Even though I asked him to repeat several times!! (Bad brain) He did with ease. Nigel was also a great help at the tills, greeted with a lovely smile and was helpful in setting up me as a VIP member. Thank you for an amazing Experience shopping with you.

Best pets at home I've visited out of three and this is far from the most local to me. Disappointed a couple of times by the lack of stock of Yakers, however it shows how popular a dog treat it is. On our last visit, Gemma helped my Bullie with all her needs, whilst maintaining faultless service. Gemma had us sorted with deworming and flea treatment in an efficient, trouble free and timely manner. I highly recommend the monthly subscription, as it's more cost effective and saves a monthly visit to the store.

Had an issue with a thermostat for a vivarium. Spoke to Gemma on the telephone who was extremely helpful and understanding as i was becoming slightly stressed. Got to the store, to pick up another thermostat, Gemma was there and again very helpful and straight away got the assistant 'Nigel' to find another thermostat. They also allowed me to check it was working before i left the store. Want to say a very big thank you to them both.

I don’t often leave reviews for places, but this shop will be one of my exceptions. I would normally choose to visit independent shops (of any description), but Pets at Home tend to have everything we need under one roof and reasonably priced. Much more importantly though the staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We have been going to this shop semi-regularly since we bought our puppy in November and even though it’s not that often (because we tend to bulk-buy) they always remember us and greet us cheerfully. Whenever we have questions about products or our puppy they are always happy to talk and offer advice, and they absolutely know what they’re talking about. They also help us get value for money rather than flogging us things we don’t need, and have been upfront when I’ve accidentally picked something up that puppy’s not ready for. They’ve also gone out of their way to help us when they haven’t had something we needed in stock. So, despite my preference for independent shops, with good stock, good prices, good advice and friendly staff I will always happily return here - why go anywhere else!

Very helpful people if you can get their attention. It Was very busy yesterday, and although they try to be COVID safe, I witnessed a family of 7 (2 adults + 5 children) and not one of them had a mask on. I did mention it to a staff member who said they could not force customers to wear them in store. So would not give 5 stars for being COVID safe.

It is really big and spacious and they have a variety of things for different pets. The really nice thing was that dogs are allowed which helps when buying things for them.

I took my daughter in with our puppy for his first groom and we were able to watch him get groomed through the glass door . The receptionist explained what the groomer will be doing and gave me a leaflet to take with me. It was something my 8 year old daughter and I really enjoyed. It was great fun watching the dog groomer treat our puppy with so much kindness and this gives us a peace of mind knowing that they he will be looked after when being left there. We will definitely be going back. I highly recommend this store and groomers. We received a lot of help shopping for our puppy in December from a store staff member.

I believe the knowledge of the employees are good on animals however some animals can be kept in small spaces in which I believe an improvement can be made. Also to add to my point special attention should be kept on feeding and enriching the lives of the animals in your care. For customers reading this it’s a great place for supplies despite some reviews talking about the shelves not being stocked and well in my opinion its ok. If your buying a pet of looking for pet supplies go there

Lovely dog groomers. I take my dog to the vets there and tried the groomers at this store and they did a great job with my labradoodle Archie. Archie approved and so did I. Good groomers are hard to find. full of knowledge and advice. best ever!

I just bought a hamster today with the help from a staff called Sam. She was really helpful and, while I understood that she was shadowing her other colleague, she was doing beyond what I was expecting and had great customer service skills. In contrary, however, the staff member who she was shadowing did not make a great impression to me as I felt pressured as a customer to choose and buy things. He was not handling the hamsters correctly, and I didn't appreciate how he criticised his shadow in front of customers. Sam deserved the praise in this occasion!

Very good stock of pet supplies in quite a large store. Items not stocked can easily be ordered for collection or delivery.

Very diverse in supplies, however - despite the space available - the animals both for sale and for adoption have incredibly small enclosures, particularly the rats, hamsters and gerbils who have mostly somewhat long, but very narrow enclosures. Similarly, I don't see how the cages sold here for these pets are so small compared to more realistic standards (hamsters, for example, require at least 100cm by 80cm squared). In short, good store with some major flaws, especially considering their 'pets come first' ideology.

I am a regular customer. They always have competative offers on the pet food you regularly buy. Products are clearly priced. In the unlikely event that you cannot find what you want the friendly staff will order it for you. There is an extensive variety of products, pet accessories and pet food to suit every type of pet and a good range of wild bird food and accessories. There is disabled parking in front of the store and wheelchair access. There is also pet grooming and a vet in store.

Also sells fish and fish tank accessories, lizards and rodents (rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, rats, etc.) and offer an adoption package. Great place to take young children and during the holidays they often hold events where children can learn about and get close to the animals there. Usual pet products available - food, toys, dog beds etc. Well behaved dogs welcome. Wheel chair accessible parking and entrance.

I had 2 bearded dragons already but was looking into getting another. I did my research and knew that I needed to get a female as I already had one of each and 2 males can't live together. I chose one and asked to check if it was a female explaining that I already had 2 at home. I was told it was so I happily bought it. Took the baby home and introduced to my other 2 beardies everything seemed fine. Today 9 days later the male attacked the baby so I quickly separated the baby. I checked the baby and discovered 2 lumps which in fact made her a he. I called the Wimbledon branch explaining the mix up and I was offered a refund. We had already grown attached to the little one but I could not afford a new vivarium. I was put straight through to a manager called Paul. He was very apologetic and offered a vivarium free of charge to rehouse of baby bearded. What outstanding customer service. I wasn't expecting that. I was expecting a £10 discount not for pets at home to take full responsibility and to kindly pay for everything to make my beardie happy and comfortable. In total it would have cost me £309 to rehouse my pet. I was also offered free vetinary treatment if he had been injured during the attack. Thank you so much for going above and beyond. I really do appreciate it. Wow Wimbledon you are now my favourite store.
