What a wonderful emporium of fabric & all sewing accessories plus wool. Be prepared to spend time here you will definitely find sewing aids here not found anywhere else. Small purchases of ribbon; strapping; binding etc of less than a metre are acceptable. Lovely ladies to serve you.

I could be in there for hours. There’s so much choice although not all of it is found on their website (which I would suggest them to update). The staff there is welcoming and informed, they do not follow you around like hawks and make you feel somehow guilty of just browsing. Will go back again and again for sure.

I absolutely love spending time in this place, browsing the huge selection of craft supplies and fabrics. I've had a few really successful trips for fabrics, where a particularly nice and enthusiastic member of staff has given great advice on textures and design ideas. I think it's a gem and wish there were more places like this in London.

I love this store. Within 10 minutes of arrival I had found the most perfect fabric for my quilt project. Lauren was so helpful and provided tips on prepping my fabric that I haven't read in any of my quilting books. All the staff are kind and incredibly generous with their time. So glad we are able to shop in person again. You will have to check out Lauren's posting of the dream catcher she made. It is so adorable and a perfect project for the sewing enthusiasts.

Brilliant shop.I travelled a far distance.A friend introduced me to the shop. More shops like, this shop are needed. I'm 50 years old.I remember when their was a decent fabric and Haberdashery on every High Street. A shop that employed people, who knew the craft and could advise you, not just sales men or women. I was here about 2 months ago and they had a very organised way of attending to clients in a very safe way. Social distancing was observed, everyone was wearing face coverings, we had our hands decontaminated with alcohol gel as soon as you enter the store and before touching anything. I was attended solely by a friendly staff and showed me around while I decided on the products I wanted to buy. I'm a nurse and I was very impressed! I'm a very happy customer and I recommend this store to all crafty people. As a new quilter, I was able to find the things I needed. Lots of lovely fabrics!

Definitely a great go to store, to get ALL that you require for your selected art. Store is amazing, vibrant with different well stocked skilled Haberdasery and Crafts sections. This also amplified by the exceptional Customer Service . The customer assistants excel in their knowledge of the copious stock / items and products , with their customer skills. They’re friendly , knowledgeable and most of all courteous adding to that acknowledging eye contact, greeting and a smile , from the entering the “paradise store” to the end of ones shopping experience. This was truly noticeable, staff members , Sally & Christine , absolute GREAT ambassadors to the store. In all I throughly enjoyed browsing and spending , to sum my shopping experience at Haberdasery & Craft shop, it equal for me , like opening up a Treasure Trove , amazing and superbly Great .

Lovely proper old fashioned haberdashers with machines, fabrics, craft materials, cake decorating etc. Good parking. The staff are helpful especially Pat on the machines. I always ask her if I need sewing advice. She is excellent.

The first time I visited here was over a year ago. Then they had classes for those who would like to learn sewing, they also had wedding gowns, they had made to order and amendments too but were trying to sell of what they had because the seamstress was no longer making them. Lately, the classes has also stopped. It's a shame that you can't get those services anymore. Just in case you need bits and bobs, they have sewing materials, cloths, patterns, embroidery, plants, arts and crafts, materials for sewing wedding gowns and sewing machines from Brothers at different price ranges etc

I was in London showing a collection for fashion week when my sewing machine that I brought with me from the states decided to give up. Naturally I panicked, but decided the best thing to do would be to Google places to get a new machine ASAP. Unfortunately, Google gave me the wrong opening time (it gave me the time of their machine repair shop next door) so I arrived about 20mins before they opened. Luckily the staff was really kind and allowed me to enter a bit early, and they helped me find a machine that would accommodate what I needed at a reasonable price. This store got me out of a bind and I am so grateful for their help on that stressful day, when I'm in London for the next fashion week, I will definitely try to stop by, hopefully not because of a machine fiasco, but to contribute to a business run by friendly people.

As haberdashery goes, it's great! Aslo for crafts, we need more local businesses like this. Especially to inspire young kids to sew and craft and be creative. The ladies working there are very knowlegeble and I believe they also specialise in bespoke bridal wear? Or bridal fabrics if I am not mistaken from the last visit.

I'm by no means a crafty man, I just accompanied my talented girlfriend here. I was however blown away by the vast amount of materials, ingredients and all those bits and pieces that are available here. The staff was also kind and helpful.

This place is huge and has a lot of stuff. The staff are usually happy to help you find stuff, or at least alternatives if they don't have what you need. You can probably get fabric cheaper from Broadway Market but the selection is worth the visit.
