Just went to this place. Nice off to the side location. The store attendant was polite but left customers to look around and get what they wanted ;Which my sister and I personally liked. The fabrics in the shop were very nice. Lovely patterns and a wide variety. Just take the bolt of fabric that you want to the till and ask the gentleman to cut it to your specifications. Everything was decently priced.

SUCH a helpful shop to buy fabric. I went in there a bit clueless about what fabric and measurements I needed. The sales assistant was extremely helpful and patient and didn't try to up sell at all. Prices are great too. I'll be sure to go back. It's a great place!

One of my favourite shops in Brixton. I cannot walk by without going in to check out new fabrics. Full of beautiful fabrics and well stocked haberdashery. Staff are always lovely and helpful.

I love this place. You don't come across many local haberdashers like this in London anymore that are so good for value. You have to be willing to look for certain gems in the shop nestled under the bridge, but the other branch towards electric avenue is very well organised and colour coded. The staff all have time for you and are happy to give you their opinion. And if you are looking for something a little extra then Robert is always handy to help.

I've been in many times to buy fabric, threads, trimmings etc. They have good service, decent range of fabrics (anything they don't have they have in their sister store over the road) and very, very reasonable prices! a lovely local shop that's worth a visit

If you're after fabric, this is the place to go! Everything from staple basics to Italian silks and decent cotton shirtings. Staff are incredibly helpful and will go out of their way to help you find what you're looking for. They Have another smaller shop on Atlantic Road that specializes in trimmings, so make sure you check them out too!

I went there today, and I found that the prices for fabrics were extremely cheap and also they have very nice staff! They also have lots of haberdashery there that is also cheap, would recommend this store for anyone who loves sewing!

I love Simply fabrics, it's a treasure trove for fabrics & trimmings. Take care to decide for yourself on the composition of fabrics though as I asked for pure cotton canvas, and after a lot of work stringing and gesso-ing my canvas I realised it was polycotton - a complete waste of time and money. But it still deserves 5 stars as a great resource for those of us who love to make clothes, soft furnishings, etc.
