A. F.We recently bought a pair of Panama Wallets, 1 being a gift. On receipt, we queried the wallet to be gifted as it differed from the images online.
Martina V at Smythson's Customer Service informed us it was an updated design, and that if we wanted the original Navy and Maroon-coloured one, they would be happy to exchange - as this was the specific one we wanted then we did so, the best part being that they offered a refund for a significant amount of the purchase.
The recipient will be really pleased as they've had their eye on this for a while - Thanks Smythson, and particularly Martina.
J. A. P.1st class service all round. I absolutely adore Smythson of bond street. I purchased a backpack in leather and with gold hardware. I also purchased a bond organiser in leather. The quality of the products are exquisitely finished and to the highest standards. The lady that served me was lovely and packed my items in tissue and put them in nile blue boxes with blue tied ribbon. Love my items and the heritage not to mention there 3 royal warrants. Will definitely be returning and buying more from them.

T. F.One of the best stationers in the world, hands down. Incredible staff, the bespoke stationary is in back. The quality of the paper and the engraving is phenomenal, and their "ready to wear" Notebooks and leather bags and accessories are a luxury you can enjoy without having something that screams. Smythson softy whispers -- people who know paper and engraving know. Anyone else with think they are beautiful but the real aficionados will be impressed when you hand them a calling card and they flip it over to see the subtle indent of the engraving plate.
They are kind enough that if I'm not in the U.K. during the fall to check in -- and make sure I have enough holiday cards and envelopes for the season. Not in a high pressure sales way, but like a a helpful friend making sure you don't leave home without a hat. They have your back -- and make the impression you make on others a joy to procure and use.

My favorite products are the journals with this magical blue paper that works exceptionally well with fountain pens (and of course others). It is one of their signature items. I also find their note cards to be the best quality I have ever used.
The in-store service is 1st class and the interior beautifully done. Their prices are high compared to companies like Crane but the quality is also superior in my view.
