My friends and I went to social pottery at the weekend - it was such a great few hours out. The environment was really friendly and relaxed and good music is playing throughout. The staff and owner were super friendly and helpful. We were even given a little gift before we left which was a really nice personal touch. A couple of groups in there were on hen parties and you can bring your own bottles so this is a really great activity for groups of friends to celebrate. Will definitely be going back there!!

This was so much fun. Nothing was too much trouble, even when we took ages to leave. Joe was very kind and considerate. Can't wait to get our pieces back! Went as a group of 3, did very different pieces. Don't have a pic of the last one. They were also happy to drill a hole in the bottom so I could use the pot as a plant pot at no extra charge.

Such a fun activity, they do BYOB which is fun for the grown ups. Would recommend, loved it! My only criticism is they don’t have fine liner pens, but they have got an array of paintbrushes. Looking forward to collecting our plates in 10 days

Really memorable and fun - very glad we booked as a group gift for a friend's birthday! The owner and staff/assistants are all so friendly and really did everything to accommodate us (including giving us control of the speaker downstairs, pulling out the bubble machine, and being really lax when we took a while to finish up). There was a lot of variety in the pottery pieces, and the supplies provided were great - and it's a true BYOB/no corkage! They were also really helpful in moving our booking when we had to rebook several times. Overall great atmosphere, and we would definitely book again and recommend to anyone.

Was a great experience, appropriate for both adults and children. The studio was clean, spaced out and a friendly and welcoming environment. The staff: Lisa, Lizzie & Guiseppe were super helpful and informative. Loved our experience at Social Pottery. We were a large group but the owner was always to hand. I’ve done pottery painting quite a few times over the years and I learnt some new techniques. Super friendly service and we all left we big smiles. The only BUT is that’s it’s expensive even in comparison to other places in London with £20 being the absolute cheapest - even mugs were around the £25 mark. In my view worth paying extra for the experience or if you haven’t painted before. We also bought along Pizzas and BYOB.

Spent a lovely Sunday morning at the social pottery class. It was fun, I love doing these things alone and meeting new people as I go. The organisers were very warm and friendly. I went to Social Pottery Painting with my 11 year old goddaughter on a busy Saturday afternoon, but still the service we received from every member of staff was exceptional. The space is quaint and colourful with a warm vibe, and the charming Giuseppe even allowed us to stay extra long despite showing up half an hour late for our booking. They even repaired a ceramic that my goddaughter accidentally broke, and still offered us a discount on top of that (we did buy 5 lol)! We had such a wonderful time, we're definitely going back and I will be recommending this place to friends- I can't wait for a BYOB night with the girls. ;)

Had the absolute best afternoon at social pottery, it was brilliant, I didn’t expect it to be such fun and I do attribute some of that to the brilliant owner who is a very fun & charismatic character. The techniques he showed us for painting the pottery were really fun to learn and I wasn’t expecting it to be as in-depth so I was surprised to actually leave with a little knowledge about how ceramics respond to paint. Wow, what a great concept! I had such a great time here with my friends today. Some of the group were running late but they were able to accommodate which I really appreciated ♥️ There is a large selection of pieces to paint - vases, cups, mugs, figurines, jugs and more at varying price points. Before you start, Mr Pottery Man goes through painting techniques, design tips and ideas then during the session he cranks the tunes and provides bubbles - amazing!! Atmosphere was fun & relaxing. The whole experience was very therapeutic and we all left feeling much lighter so it served its intended purpose. I'd definitely recommend visiting & we are planning on coming back soon. It's even child friendly. Cannot wait to see our finished products in 10 days time!!!

It's a unique and fun way to spend an evening and a chance for a visionary creative such as myself to express a series of my most troubling thoughts through the medium of painting pottery. A special mention must go to Hannah, the wonderful woman who MC'd proceedings, leading all in attendance through various techniques and maintaining a helpful, kind, sunny disposition throughout. Hannah is one of those immediately likeable people who really gets the best out of others, and she is an absolute credit to the establishment. I hope that she realises the power of her kindness and lovely nature-both have sustained huge smiles on the faces of myself and my husband this evening. Thank you Hannah.

What a wonderful place - the staff are fantastic fun and create such a great atmosphere. There’s a lot of choice for what to paint, and of materials to use to make your creation. The price is so reasonable too, especially as you can choose your own item to paint at a fixed price then everything else (the paints, the studio time and instruction) is included, so there are no additional costs and it’s very transparent. I can’t recommend this activity enough to anyone looking to do something a little different in London! I’ll definitely be back :)

Had the best time at social pottery painting, it’s such a fun, laid back atmosphere, with great music playing and encouraging, attentive staff. After picking our pieces from the large variety on offer, Giuseppe gave us a quick and easy to follow run through of how different techniques provide different effects and then we were left to our own creative devices, but Giuseppe and Lisa were always close by to help out and offer advice.. especially when I thought I’d ruined mine, G stepped in and saved the day, he’s very passionate and genuinely cares about you being happy with your end product, also had us laughing the entire time. A fun, different activity to do with friends whilst catching up, or even alone; it’s so cathartic and a great way to switch off after a long week. Would 100% recommend trying this place out, honestly can’t wait to go back!!

I went with a friend for some morning fun and we had a fantastic time! The owner is very friendly but leaves you all the quiet and peace you want so we could enjoy our time as if we were at home having a conversation around a cup of tea. The room is bright and there are plenty of items to pick, at a reasonable price. We stayed longer than the time allowed without being pushed out. I couldn’t recommend social pottery more and such a great team that work behind it. I had a birthday gathering at social pottery back in March and we weren’t able to collect our pots - and clay snail - until august and they were so kind to keep them safe all this time and when I came to collect them G kindly wrapped them up for me in paper so they wouldn’t get damaged. If you are looking to try something different in a relaxed and laid back atmosphere for a reasonable price you HAVE to go to social pottery. There’s lots to choose from to paint and the colour range is awesome. Really wonderful business and will definitely come again soon. Thanks once again !!

I had the best day here today! My friend and I came to try something different and relaxing. It really exceeded all of my expectations. Lisa and Giuseppe were absolutely amazing; their customer service was brilliant. Me and my friend were quite stuck with what item to paint (because they had such a wide selection) but they were very patient and friendly.You get full instructions on simple techniques to create beautiful designs. Giuseppe is very knowledgable and his work is gorgeous so there's no need to worry if you're not a pro because he's there to help every step of the way. There was a lovey atmosphere in the studio and if you go on a day where the cute pet guinea pig Oliver is there it's even better. I will certainly be back with more friends!!

Lovely owner and fun activity but definitely room for improvement. When you book online it gives you options to select small, medium or large item to paint which all has different pricing. I selected medium and paid the deposit, however on the day they will ask you to select the item you would like to decorate, which are individually priced. This wasn't clear to us and so we have definitely paid more than what we thought based on the website. It has now been around 4 weeks since our event and we still haven't been contacted to collect our items. We were told 10 days...We have tried getting in touch with them but no answer. Definitely need to improve their customer service and making it clearer in regards to prices. As said at the beginning it's a lovely idea for a birthday or hen party and definitely very fun!

It was great to chat with and observe the ceramicist/painter working on a new piece. Het was al rond 20.00, maar voor Giuseppe was dat geen probleem en na een korte uitleg mochten we onze eigen mok beschilderen. Het was super ontspannend en twee dagen later konden we ons eindproduct ophalen. Zeer aan te raden! :)
