Been coming to Supreme for many years now & my husband since he was a teenager and this is the only pet store I know that always treat their customers like friends. The management & staff are always available for advice and even just a friendly chat. Their expertise and knowledge is superb and quality of care for both Animals and Humans are impeccable. When I visit Supreme it's never a quick visit as it's such a friendly atmosphere you can't help but stay a little longer. Excellent Supreme Animal Foods 👏👏👏

Awesome shop, staff are very Knowledgeable. I go there for the reptiles, but they have a small Mammal section, fish and bird section with everything you would need to take great care of your pet. I travel out of my way to go to this pet shop.

Love this place. I've known them since I was a little kid and they've always gone out their way to answer any questions or just welcome me. I bought a Chinese water dragon from here and it's been really happy and healthy which is rare for the species in captivity so they've clearly done a good job raising the little guy. I would definitely recommend them.

The owner is very helpful and the staff are also. It has always been a pleasure to visit and buy things here. Everyone is so kind and friendly. My grandchildren love coming to see the animals and fish when they visit me. Hopefully this will start up again as Covid becomes less dangerous.

Been coming here for years now, highly recommend these guys they're always friendly and helpful and also very knowledgeable too which is so important as they sell marine fish as well as tropical and cold water fish too. They also have hamsters, rabbits etc and sometimes kittens too.

The owners and staff of the store are amazing. Rick the owner gave me great advice as my blue xlbully was suffering with a skin condition and was costing lots of money to find out the cause. Rick recommended Melaseb which is only prescribed by the vets. It was the best advice ever, her skin cleared up and her fur thickened and grew back very fast. Thanks Rick your an amazing guy with lots of experience if it wasn't for you who knows what I was going to do. Such good prices on food, toys etc. Best pet shop I've been to in a very long time.

Went in yesterday for some live food for my leopard gecko, Pets at Home never have what I need in stock but these guys had exactly what I wanted. I was helped really quickly after one of the employees saw I looked a bit lost. I didn't catch his name but the guy in the reptile section honestly made my day, he was really helpful and we went on to have a really nice conversation about music. Even the lady who helped me at the till was lovely! I'll defiantly be back whenever I need anything.

I am a regular at this pet shop it was my favourite until two staff members were rude to me and it was not acceptable. Ricky is always friendly to talk to, usually i feel happy to see the pets and buy some items but this time i was not happy and i may not return. I may find other pet shops and go to pets at home maybe people will be more approachable and decent and i can buy items for my pets without second thoughts.

We've been using this pet store for years. Always amazing service and so friendly. I can even go here for advice on my animals, I have 3 dogs 2 guinea pigs fish and we used to have rats. The staff are very well educated about all animals and always offer the best advice whether it he how to keep my tank clean to what food I should be feeding my pigs. Also I have noticed they are by far the best priced pet store around. If they do not have something in stock they will always order in for you. However yesterday me and my mother in law had a major car problem and managed to reverse over a small wall and we couldn't get the car back over it. Ricky and Adam from the store was straight out to our rescue, and managed after trying so hard and giving us their time away from the pet store got the car back on the road. My mother in law was very shaken by it all and they even offered to take her inside sit her down and get her a nice cuppa. Cannot thank this store enough. I was pleasantly surprised when I visited this pet shop. I was at a bit of a loss regarding my dogs food, after trying numerous types of food that didn't agreed with her I needed help finding the right food with a good nutritional balance. Luckily enough I was greeted by a young, extremely polite gentleman named Harry. Harry was very knowledgeable, showing and explaining what I needed. This has gone down a treat for my dog and I will continue to use this product and store. I also didn't feel pressured into purchasing anything I didn't need. I would highly recommend this store and would return! I came directly from another reptile store where I did not have the best experience (they acted like I was bothering them by wanting to look at the geckos). In contrast, the staff at Supreme were incredible and not only got out the animals to show me, they also kept asking if I needed help. I wish I had just gone here in the first place. They also have a big of reptiles on display and good stock of goods Thank you for making my day. Cant wait to visit again.

I needed this to go perfectly for my son who has a difficult year, as we all have. We had been frustrated after some confusing research and unexpected disappointment from some other shops. We found Jak and Jo-Jo at Supreme Super Foods Pet Shop. With unrelenting patience and professionalism they walked us through the entire process of buying and understanding what we had to do to outfit and successfully socialise 2 pet rats. They made getting started a pleasure. Which is what I wanted it to be for my son. Now our pets have been with us for a while and we are having lots of fun with our really cuddly and healthy friends. We are really looking forward to returning and getting some more great advice and picking up some fun toys for our new pets! Thank you Jak and Jo-Jo!

Selection of products and animals is vastly superior to Pets at home (at least in Deptford). I was not impressed with the knowledge of the younger staff at least, that is not to say, that other staff did not have the knowledge, but the information given was contrary to that on the Internet (it was missing the proverbial 'i don't know'). So, good but needs improvement, but I recommend that you take responsibility for what you want and do your research extensively online first. Don't purchase animals on your first visit, and arguably on your second one.

This pet shop was recommended to me when my local pet shop on Baalam Street closed down I was going to get rid of my 3 tanks when my fish eventually expired (I have fish, turtles and at one stage also an African Pygmy Hedgehog who was a huffy little thing affectionately known as Lady Stella Hodge-Podge... age has taken her to that APH endless exercise wheel in the sky) Initially I was a bit apprehensive but I had no reason to be. The staff are amazing, welcoming and knowledgeable. They are also funny and warm. It's become a real home from home for me and I've had the odd cuppa and biccies when staff are brewing up. It's a family business and it shows. I've seen the staff interaction with customers and their pets. it's a real personal service. I cannot recommend them highly enough and my only complaint is that it's a bit too far from home for me to just pop in for a brew and a chat now n then 😂... see you guys soon.

Our family has been shopping here for years and I simply cannot compliment the staff enough! The owner is a kind and knowledgeable man. He remembers my dogs, their breeds and health needs. The amount of times I have left the shop with more free samples than items I have actually purchased is too many to count. (But yes, I will always come back to buy the full sized item) My husband on the other hand, quite often breaks the bank in the fish section! Perhaps what impresses me the most is the patience of the staff. Today, we were helped by Gareth with purchasing a hamster and he kindly allowed my five year old to meet four before she decided on her new pet. I've tried to buy online, only to discover less expensive prices at Supreme Animal Foods. Most importantly, as a parent- it is an absolute delight for my daughter to visit our local friendly pet shop!

Not sure what all the negative feedback is about, this has been my local pet store for many years and i have always found Ricky, Gareth and other staff members to be really friendly and helpful, In fact I'll go as far as to say that i am treated more like a friend than a customer. I mainly deal with the aquatic side of the shop and have not dealt much with the other sections of the shop, but knowing the Management, i find it hard to believe that the staff would act any other way than courteous and helpful. I'm sure if it did happen, that Ricky/Gareth would have corrected any issue that were there, at busy periods it is expected that the staff are trying to help as many people as they can and you may have to wait to be served, but that is normal for a shop that is as popular as this one. I highly recommend this pet store and will continue to use them for many a year too come. Nil.

Having used Lockdown to empty & clean out my pond of the dreaded blanket weed I planned to restock plants and fish & needed advice on pond management. Darren was excellent & very knowledgeable. I bought a pond filter, a product to maintain water balance plus some pondweed to create a good environment to restock with fish in the Spring. They cator for the needs of every animal. Definitely a Go to Place for Pets.

Good pet shop, even has parking. In terms of fish they have a good selection of cichlids tropical and marine fish. They take time to speak with you and appear very happy to order something in if you wanted. Fish are healthy and they clearly know what they are doing. I highly recommed checking them out for anything Aquatic or otherwise.

Have been comming here for the best part of 10 years, Ricky has a great team and everyone knows about their department, nothing is too much trouble, the Aquatic dept is fantastic. All the animals from the fish upwards are well kept and in excellent health. Some are in Quarantine but that is because they are a new delivery and have to have a watchful eye kept on them. I have never bought anything that I have had to return. You are never pressured into buying stuff you don't need. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I absolutely love the variation of animals in this shop, I went in there last Saturday and bought an amazing anery motley stripe corn snake and was treated very nicely and with respect. My corn snake was a healthy weight and has calmed down a lot as used to be bitey. Will be visiting again, highly reccomended to anybody looking for advice on animals

It's like a mini pet zoo with all sorts of pets there. It is packed to the rafters with pet food and pet care. The staff are there to give advice on pet care. They also provide fish tank maintenance for a fee. Take your child/ren there for a look around. But get ready to leave with a pet!

All the lads here is charming and don't mind you asking lots of questions!! You can get really good quality stuff here and the price is okay. My ONLY downside is, I always feel a controlling, smarmy attitude from the woman who is usually at the till though. She likes to take your bank card from you!! And if you dont like it then she will be rude!! So you have no choice but to be controlled by her ego. Thats awful customer service. She's probably the lads' mother who actually can't control herself.

Really surprised by the negative reviews here as shopping at Supreme Animal Foods has always been a positive experience for us. They have an excellent range of cat foods and their cat food expert is very knowledgable and helpful (and talkative). One of our cats has digestive (IBD like) problems and Supreme Aniimal Foods helped us find foods that she can tolerate better than anything else we have tried. Their aquarium section is very well stocked and their advice was helpful when a friend of ours was setting up his aquarium. The fish he bought here were healthy and certainly did not die the next day! They do have a lot of staff, many of whom are quite young, but we have always found them helpful and polite and if they couldnt answer our questions there has always been a more experienced member of staff on hand to assist. Their prices are not as cheap as a pet superstore or online pet shop but that is to be expected from a small(ish) independant store. My only criticism is that I find it a little disturbing to see animals, particularly the kittens, in cages. This is a pet shop though so that is hardly something to complain about. I am sure the kittens are well fed and cared for, I just have to prevent my girlfriend from going to see them as we have enough cats already! (this review has also been placed on one other London review website)

Always been blinding. Be aware though ANPR is now in force in the car park so it’s a 30min stay is the limit. Permits available inside to extend stay so make sure you do the correct thing and don’t get a fine.
