J. C.We picked up our puppy 2 weeks ago and in the general faff that follows we needed some bits and pieces for him. We drove to Pets at Home but passed The Handsome Hound on the way. We never made it to Pets at Home.
I walked in with Ted and that was that, the fantastic lady at the counter took him off me and fussed over him for 30 minute while we got advice and all the bits we needed for him. He won’t really need grooming but we won’t shop anywhere else through loyalty and supporting independent shops.
Just fantastic!

A. D.Love love love this shop as does my dog! Celene the lady who owns the shop is so helpful and lovely. Treats my dog like princess every time we go in. Celene has everything for dogs even down to the small touches of ice cream for pups! Would recommend this store. Love visiting dog house!
I. I.Such a wonderful independent shop - The Dog House team are always super helpful and welcoming, even with crazy dogs and crazier children in tow. We’ve bought a selection of goodies from there on several occasions including stinky treats, accessories, toys and a bed - each one a massive hit with the dog and amazingly good value.

Loads of leads, beds etc... but all I could fit in my bag was a Kong :) They're just opened too - would recommend!
