Reviews of The Harry Potter Shop at Platform 9¾

What a magical place it is. The best place in KingX to visit. There’s a lot of stuff to see or buy from Wands, magical chocolate to clothes, beer & other etc stuff. U can see different kinda stuff from each film. There’s guided tour too with bit prices. Worth to have it. The atmosphere inside is incredible n mind blowing.

I couldn't visit London without going to Platform 9 3/4's!! At Kings Cross we found Platform 9 3/4's listed on the signs, which was good because it's not actually located by Platforms 9 or 10. We easily found it and were not disappointed. Outside the store is a great (and free) photo op with the sign, a luggage cart partially disappearing in the wall, and several wand choices to add some magic to the picture. There was a line for our turn to take pictures, but it moved quickly. The store itself is amazing with tons of HP memorabilia and collectibles. I made sure I got a little something and even got a nice "Platform 9 3/4" bag to put it in. It's definitely worth stopping by for any Potter fan and a fun experience for young and old alike.

You just have to visit here, it’s so much fun to go into the Harry Potter Shop at Kings Cross Station. They have a photo op just outside that says 9 3/4. I thought pricing was reasonable, they are doing contactless no cash also in January 2022.
C. G.
This is an excellent store next to the platform 9 and 3/4 location to take photos.
Great unique gifts can be found in store for surprisingly good prices.
The store is very busy but the staff are excellent and very happy to help with anything you may need.
Highly recommend a visit.
N. J.
Great shop, actually positioned between platforms 9 & 10 and you can take a picture with the trolley halfway through the wall just outside which quite a lot of people were queuing to do. Inside it had a great selection, I mostly went for the confectionery and got a chocolate frog and peppermint toads but they had a great selection of other ones and they also sell butterbeer. They also had clothing, wands, books, toys etc. Looks small but they do actually have a lot in there. Definitely recommend visiting
V. H. N. S.
It is a dream come true! Was easy to went there no queue. The bring the magic and the atmosphere from all the movies. The staff was trained to make you feel the magic. Amazing experience.

This is definitely a must for Harry Porter fan. Visit King's Cross station where they filmed Platform 9 3/4 in Harry Potter movies. This station is also where J K Rowling's parents first met each other. After taking pictures with the platform don't forget to visit the Harry Potter shop just nearby. There are many things from the movies you can buy here from wands, clothes, magical chocolate bar, butter beer, owl, suitcase, etc but the price is a bit high.
H. Y. W.
We are not fans of Harry Potter but The Harry Potter Shop at Platform 9 3/4 is definitely one of the worth-a-visit spots for tourists. The decor is delicate and the set up of the platform, which is one of the signature scenes in the movie is adorable.
There are packaged tickets with 3D guided tour, professional photoshoots and souvenirs available online. However, the price is kind of high for us, so we just shopped there and took photos ourselves with the platform. We got a bottle of Butter Beer, which is alcohol-free to share and it was so amazing, not too bad.
A. M.
A nice visit for the wizarding world fan! At the entrance you have the iconic cart in the wall photo place, which let's you place yourself as a young wizard on his way to Hogwarts express. The shop has various items and memorabilia divided by school houses. It's mostly crowded, but fun to experiance..one of the best buys is the ~£2 Hogwarts ticket.

Magic indeed. What a great store to visit in King cross station. Fans of Harry Potter must visit spot in London. Very nice and helpful crew, a lot of stuff to see and choice from. Amazing atmosphere around plus the actual place of Harry Potter movie was filmed. You can do a pic for free with your phone and buy a wand. The shop itself seems for me a little beet expansive, but not every day you fill like you in movie. This is the place you actually don't want to live. Very recommended to visit and enjoy.
L. C.
My kids did not like the butter beer, they were hoping for a rootbeer kind of taste. It tasted like butterscotch, ginger ale and a medicine kind of after taste. Friendly stuff, the guy who sells the wands knows the movies and the wands pretty well. The overall experience was amazing. Lots of good quality merch. Highly recommended for Harry Potter fans.
C. R.
I didnt know they have people to help you take the picture on the station. So lovely. 🥰🥰🥰 good prices and good articles 😍 i definitely recomend any HP fan to get stuff there
p. m.
A nice little gift shop catering all Harry potter fans, located adjacent to the platform 9 and 10 at kings cross. The place just looks like straight out of the movie set and with HP music playing in the background gives total nostalgic vibe. They have a wonderful wand collection with the aisle reminding of Olivender's. Prices are not so cheap but I guess that's what you would expect in a place like that. We bought some butterbeer and mint chocolate toads, and the price and quality are reasonable, definitely recommend the butterbeer. The clothing section was not so impressive and did not have much options for adults 😔. I will go back there again if I am crossing vis Kingscross.
S. S.
splendid, marvellous, fantastic, mind-boggling, incredible, .. still these adjectives aren't enough to describe this magical place. Harry Potter, my fictional cravings, was satisfied after visiting this store. Most of the merchandise you will get here is authentic but at an expensive rate. Experience the magical ambience, 3d shows. It's a must visit for all the potterheads.
A. V.
Lovely experience - the staff are what really make it great. There is a lady, Bella, outside taking pictures she is so animated and hospitable.
Mariana on the desk inside was so warm and chatty with myself and my friend.
Zach decorated my trunk beautifully, it looked great!
They had unluckily ran out of the small paper bags, but a lady, Naomi, took the time to individually wrap my items.
The service is amazing, I really recommend visiting these lovely people xx
P. G.
Loved the place. Good photo shoot area. Located at King's Cross Station. You can take a tube and then just head towards the left and back to find this shop. Lots of nice items to buy.
D. G.
If you're a Harry Potter fan, you have to check out this place! It's right next to the trolley and 'Platform 9 3/4' sign inside King's Cross (spoiler alert: the trolley is not on any of the actual station platforms but in the common area). Once you're done taking cool photos of yourself with the trolley, the staff ushers you in the store and It. Is. Magical.
There's everything from keychains, jewelry, clothes, and stuffed Hedwigs to wands, butterbeer, and chocolate frogs! Of course, as all original merch, this one is also pricey, but you can find some great bargains, too.
♿ Absolutely accessible
💳 Card payment available
B. S.
I might have been a little old to wait in line and have my picture taken, but it was totally worth it. The shop is full of cute Harry Potter merchandise, candy, and butterbeer. Definitely worth a stop!
R. H.
Must visit for Harry Potter fans! Located inside the train station. Can take a free photo with the cart going into the wall on the way in the gift shop!
S. G. P.
Fantastic place!! If you are a fan of Harry Potter you will delighted with this shop even if you're not. The place has a lot of items of all Harry Potter saga and the wizarding world. I want to come back again 🤩
E. P.
Get your Hogwarts uniform, luggage & train ticket here at Kings Cross platform 9¾
Remember to close your eyes before entering the platform. If you haven't received your wand yet you can get one from the shop🪄. Parents can purchase a photo of your child before they get onto the platform to catch the train 🚆. 💫✨⭐🧙♂️
Some people think that this store is pricey, however it is THE Harry Potter Shop in the best location in the world 🌍 People visit London & come here for the experience. I loved it here 😍 I didn't purchase the photos going onto the platform as I have my own camera, but I spent money in the store. A replica train ticket costs about £2.50 not much for a piece of the experience to take home.
P. J.
Felt like magic! Lots of choices to buy from but as expected, pretty expensive. The photographer very friendly and welcoming, not pushy in any way. Definite comeback is a must.
M. P.
Very kind people in the staff. The HP atmosphere is very well preserved there. Just mind the enormous queue to the photo site even on Monday. Btw. I reckon Dobby had a rough night.
A. K.
Easily accessible! A little expensive but for Harry Potter fans is a unique experience! Very good job, well done..
D. A.
Very nice but not cheap shop, loads of stuff marked as different houses for good gifting. If you're a fan it is worth the experience and you can take your own pics with the trolley in the wall outside. Happy friendly staff too 😀
M.
A very beautiful store that reminds us of the episodes of the Harry Potter saga, I was sad because the photographer who is outside, instead of taking pictures, preferred to stay talking. We are without the official photo. Only the one we took ourselves.
C. H.
Its magical, amazing, spell binding and gorgeous on the eye! Huge must for any potter fan!
D. B.
Well I’m gonna start saying the photographer it’s just so cool and amazing photographer, if you go make sure you get your picture with her you won’t regret! All the staff in the shop is very very friendly and nice, the shop in general it’s just amazing, I’m not even a Harry Potter super fan, I like it but I was amazed by everything and the attention. Would recommend to visit and buy things there 100%. ♥️👏
S. B.
The shop is well themed round Harry Potter and well stocked with various Harry Potter themed gifts, clothing and souvenirs.
The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable, giving good theater in the wand area when we visited. When asked questions the staff were helpful and knew the answers and knew there stock.
Definitely worth a visit if your in the area and like Harry Potter.
L. M.
Excellent, perfect for Harry Potter fans. A little pricey but nothing too over the top price wise though. Friendly staff that know there Harry Potter stuff. The lady at the wand section was particularly helpful when selecting our wands.
A. G.
Be patient if you want to take the classic photograph at the platform 9 3/4. Really crowded! The inside of the store also really crowded all the time. Quite expensive products.
K. B.
We had to ask for the camera flash to be turned off due to eye sensitivities and the original shot didn't work, but the store staff were very helpful and understanding we didn't have long before our train, gave our son another opportunity with the right camera settings to get a good shot. Our purchase was sped through and due to the customer service from the shop team we were able to both get the photo our son wanted and make it to our train before departure.
k. C.
Fantastically magical place full of Harry Potter souvenirs. There was a very small queue to have photos taken at the wall and although someone was there to take professional photos that you can buy, your also welcome to take your own . Well worth a detour just for the shop if your kids are Harry Potter fans!
S. G.
My train was arriving at King's Cross, so I couldn't be happier to arrive in London and even more so in this place. I arrived and the first thing I did was look for this platform, it is on the ground floor, exactly near number 9 haha, although it is just a simple wall with some half-baked suitcases, for a true fan of Harry it is an unmissable place and yes magical, a dream come true.
R. M.
A great place to visit if you're a Harry Potter fan. It is located besides the famous platform 9 ¾ in King's Cross Station. A person also helps you with choosing the right wand. You'll have a cracking time. I don't know much about Harry Potter but even I enjoyed checking the place out.
D. M.
Their hook is a luggage cart embedded in a wall you can have your picture taken with. After that you have a huge selection of Harry Potter themed merchandise to choose from.
E. C.
With the exception of the fact that they have a way too little variety of t-shirts and hoodies or jumpers in my opinion, the place is pretty nice. You get the wands stand, all the accessories, the trunks and personalized Hogwarts letter stand and everything, really nice atmosphere, always full of excited people obviously, and staff are generally nice and helpful though you can sometimes tell they are just tired of that atmosphere. Still, is one of the must go places for HP fans, together with the platform 9¾ recreation
J. E.
The shop was underwhelming in my opinion. Was expecting a unique variety of souvenirs, but I think there are way better stores around London and Edinburgh that sold better, unique, and more Harry Potter stuff. Worth visiting, but not outstandingly magical.
T. C.
Extensive Harry Potter merchandise as one would expect. Shop massively busy but hard working staff means no great queues to make your purchases. Reasonably priced goods. Highly recommended
A.
A little underwhelming really, the queue for a photo is always really long. The shop does stock some nice bits as you'd expect the prices are very nice inflated due to the location. All in all worth a quick look when your passing but I wouldnt go out of my way to go
A. K.
Great service! The young lady behind the counter helped me get an extra chocolate bar so I could get a deal.
P. S.
A must do for all Harry Potter fans
Was a lot to see and do. It took me around 3 hours to go round and view everything.
Stopped half way for a butter beer! Which had it's own unique taste. Plenty of pictures taken.
I got the tour bus from Watford junction for £3 return, the bus arrived rather quickly maybe ten minutes wait. The journey took 15 minutes.
Ò. P.
It's a great little shop for a Harry Potter lover to stop by. Unfortunately as you might expect the prices are pretty high. But we got to take our pictures on platform 9 and 3/4!
L. G.
Very small queue when we got there. There are photographers who will take your photo so that you can purchase it in the shop, but you can also take your own on your mobile. We didnt buy a photo from the shop as in all honesty the one we took with out mobile was better quality!
J. H.
Good selection of Harry Potter branded merchandise. We qerevtgere early on a Sunday morning so managed to avoid the huge queues we have seen before there. My daughter was in her element. Prices are pretty high as can be expected for official merchandise.
T. R.
Good novelty shop and a great photo opportunity outside but a tad expensive. £25 for a t-shirt and £40 for a hoodie although to be fair, the garments felt like good quality.
I. M.
This store is perfect for Harry Potter fans. Once you step in you are immerged in the fantasy world since a whole bunch of details from the books and movies were surrounding you. On the downside, this is a small store and gets crowded very easily.
J. S.
Great shop with loads of Harry Potter based stuff to suit a range of different budgets, though of course everything is very overpriced. The staff are very knowledgeable, especially when I tested their knowledge of the different wands. The platform 9 3/4 photo op is a nice touch.
R. A.
Prepare for the lineup.
The photo spot is always busy.
S. N.
We went to the Warner Bros Studio the day before and I can say that I was not disappointed that we stopped at the shop on our way out of London ^^
There used to be the same merchandise available in both locations but now the studio's shop and Platform 9 3/4 are complementary and you can find things in one that you wouldn't be able to find in the other.
Successful strategy to HP marketing team 😋
E. J.
A must see if you're a Harry Potter fan.
Shop is well stocked.
We bought a photo taken at platform 9¾, a nice souvenir and at £10 I thought it was a bargain.
It was rather crowded though.
S. T.
4 stars for not having children's T-shirts, only adult ones. Some of the dolls are not made very well - low quality for a high price.
Otherwise, there is a variety of products. You can even buy gloves and scarves although it is May.
Very busy!
K. L.
Nice little shop that makes every harry potter fan's heart skip a beat! It really is just a small shop with an okayish sortiment of goodies and the famous platform 9¾ directly next to it, where people queue up for a few minutes to have a photo taken of themselves with the luggage carriage half through the wall. funny and necessary gimmick in that location!
H. F.
So great of this attraction for Harry Potter fan
M. B.
If you can’t get to the Harry Potter studios, then this is the next best thing! Plus there is a cool picture spot to pretend you are running through the wall at Platform 9 3/4. Great selection selection of HP stuff at the shop.
J. E.
It was an absolutely wonderful experience, however be sure to account for more time than you think, as there are tons to see and do here, also be ready for extra expenses as the giftshop is enormous and filled with stuff any Potter fan would salivate for.
K. v. d. L.
The Harry Potter shop is a must see for every fan of the Wizarding World! They’ve got almost everything you could think of, albeit on the pricier side. Don’t bother for the picture outside though; it’s just an old tourist trap with bored and blunt staff. Instead, tap in with your Oyster card and head to platforms 4 and 5 where the scenes were actually shot. Create your own magic!
C. C.
It was nice to visit this shop whilst I was at King's Cross station, although I didn't buy anything.
It's great for any Harry Potter fan, & the range of stock was good, however it's rather small & I feel you could get half of it's stock cheaper elsewhere.
J. L.
I cannot thank the staff enough who supported me and my nephew on 8th May. He has a diagnosis of autism and I have high levels of social anxiety, with us both being overwhelmed and him beginning to have a melt down the staff could not have been more caring and helpful. You helped me to cope with a highly anxiety provoking situation and went above and beyond. THANK YOU SO MUCH
M. L.
Warning!!! The store is very busy so leave time before our train to have a look around.
This store is for all lovers of the Harry Potter books, films and the precuals.
I feel the prices are a little higher than ou could pick up from the innernet but mixed with the experience it's work it.
The hand made wooden wands are very cool, even picked my interest.
Fun for all ages.
T. E.
Loved it, as did the rest of the family, gifts are pricey as expected but excellent quality. Diagonalley was a suprise!
A. K. S.
One of the best view which you can get it for free. It's at King's cross station. You don't need to pre book. Just do a walk in and join the queue ( if it's crowded!). Welcome to Hogwarts!
K. P.
Great store for HP fans. When closed there is no trolley outside to get picture
M. J.
As a Harry Potter fan!!loved This store
Maintains all COVID rules
It’s an experience!!
Staffs are friendly!!we can take photo with trolley with our phone or you can ask them to take and take a print,a professional one
It’s a must visit place if you are a fan
L. V. G. (.
The queue at the Harry Potter Shop At King's Cross often has 10-30 minute queues. Unfortunately, the product I bought broke when it came out of the box but luckily I was able to return it without having to queue again. The staff here are magical and very helpful.
P. P.
So happy to have been here! If you ever loved Harry Potter when you were a child, this is a must-go. If I remember correctly, it costs 15 GBP to print your picture at the photo spot of Platform 9 3/4, but you can ask ppl to take it with your phone. The shop are full of cute things and I bought some candies for my memories.
R. S.
At the entrance it’s possible to take a picture with the famous cart or skip and walk into the shop.
Very crowded and busy. The place has a variety of items that can be purchased, great for kids and families.
A. W.
Wow it was nice to remembered by security staff and got my raven claw items and a wand of he who must not be named
A. M. A.
Excellent place for Harry Potter fans. Tons of variety.
E. M.
Lotsof things Harry Potter. Very difficult to choose.
L. S.
One of my favourite places in London. Always busy with people popping in, when we arrived, you could not get to browse due to the amount of people in with suitcases, including me. Bought a Christmas present and left.
E. J. N.
Really friendly staff and you can find a thousand of HP gifts here. In case you visit London and you are HP fun it's a 'must see'!
Thank you for the experience! BR
F. A.
There were so many souvenirs that it made it very hard for me to decide what to buy 😅
I felt like a happy kid in that place!
M. C.
Excellent! they have everything about harry potter and the queue to take the photo at station 9 3/4 goes fast! it's great to have a nice photo!
C. M.
Amazing experience.Would love to go back again sometime.
M. L.
very expensive products for spoiled boys and girls, I love the movies, but the diversity of souvenirs, for the price, is inaccessible to many. And the local photographer is terrible, she keeps talking and doesn't take the pictures she should, I played the clown.
h. l.
I am always the harry potter fan since childhood. Long queues on the outside of the shop to take photo with the trolley in the wall. Waited 1 hour plus just to take pictures. There they have prepared some scarfs with different houses and wands. The staff was so helpful and even suggested some posts for us to take pictures with the trolley. Absolutely worth it. Great job, the staff. You can purchase the pictures inside the shop and some souvenirs to bring back home. Love it. No regret. Definitely recommended for people who love Harry Potter.
T. E.
I would have loved to see more variety in items, but for a quick shopping option for a 'been there' fun time with the family, it was more than adequate. The butterbeer is SWEET and used best in vanilla ice cream as a float - we couldn't stand the stuff straight.
The house chocolate bars were pretty good, except for the sharpness of the mint in the Slytherin bar.
N. L.
Childhood Dream come true to see Harry potter store from inside. It’s really amazing and just like as we feel we are in the Hogwarts school of Wizards. Authentic Quality Goods and Good Support Staff. If you are a fan then definitely buy something as you will be excited and have goosebumps.
Y. A.
An exciting destination for every Harry Potter fan. located inside King's Cross Station. At the Platform 9 3/4 shop you can take a picture with an Hogwarts shawl of your choice. A professional photographer takes your picture, that you can buy in the shop. But, and this is nice, you can also take your own picture for free!
G. M. (. o. B.
Nicely done with plenty of merchandise for the Harry Potter's fans. A little smaller than what you may expect since it is the only Harry Potter's shop in London.
V. L.
Lovely little shop! Has the authentic products and good quality as well! Would've loved if it was a bit larger and had more variety for the individual houses, but still the range of products is quite good and the ambience is amazing!
Plus you get discount and a free pin if you have wizarding world gold subscription - that's a bonus 😁
C. N.
Timeless small Harry Potter store. For mass tourism though. If you are looking for rare collectibles there are better ones.
M. P. A.
Super fun store! Insanely crowded. Lots of HP items. Our favorite purchase was the Oyster card HP holders!
V. T.
You can have pictures of famous platform 9 3/4. Here as well a great shop with a lot of things from the Harry Potter story.
C. L.
Cool shop, pretty expensive and long lines but they are following covid protocols. The photo op at the entrance was probably the best part.
A. E.
At King's Cross Station, there is a platform 9 and three quarters yes 9¾ where Harry Potter & Co take their train to school..You too, your family, friends, their friends, children young and old can go & have their photograph taken on this fabulous entrance to the platform. Ask any member of staff where platform 9¾ is they'll point you in the right direction, I can tell you it is near Platform 10 as you might have expected.
L.
Great opportunity to immerse yourself into everything Harry Potter. However, although it was the late evening, the queue to have a souvenir picture taken was ridiculously long and there was even a waiting time to get into the shop. Fortunately that was shorter, but once inside, it was so packed, that it made it difficult to be able to look at anything properly without being barged and pushed aside. My daughter found it quite overwhelming and though she was thrilled to be there, she asked to go outside after a while.
Obviously the merchandise is not cheap but for a real fan, it has to be seen. Great choice of items from clothing, soft toys, books, bird cages, wands, jewellery, bags, cups, posters etc. I even spotted things from "Fantastic Beasts and where to find them". Be prepared for the waiting and the very busy shop. Still good fun.
C. F.
Went in to buy gifts for my nieces. The staff - Sam in particular - were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure my nieces were happy. Thank you!
A. G.
Very creative and beautiful good quality products sold here. The selection was good and the deco was beautiful. During peak hours and holidays, this place can be crowded and there may be a waiting line just to get in to shop. But go at night and it’s nicer to shop and admire the creativity decoration and products without the crowd.
M. E.
The line here took so long to get through for a picture, and the shop was insanely overcrowded. The shop was definitely overpriced, but it makes sense since it’s Harry Potter. A lot of cool souvenirs if you’re willing to pay for them. The photo is worth it just because of the location, but the staff was very unfriendly.
s.
So many nice things. It was crowded today (Saturday) so I recommend to go during the week, more comfortable with less customers inside.
J. B. M.
Too small for the number of customers, made the experience less enjoyable than it could be. The queue for trolley photos was huge, glad we did some in the HP studios
A. K.
I love it! It's much more crowded now then it was a few years ago and there can even be a small queue to enter. But the selection is harry potter related items in the store is so impressive.
A. D.
Nice but very expressive 😒. Near the shop there's a line for talking picture with the Harry Potter Trolley.
O. P.
Cool tourist attraction. There was a line to take picture at the photozone. Photos are quite pricy. But it's possible to take them also with your phone.
The store is cool. Paradise for Harry Potter fans :)
J. W.
Take a photo of yourself at the station prop then walk into the shop. Now open your wallet.. pow! money's gone.. ! Magic, you see. A must-visit shop for all you Harry Potter fans. Watch out, goods are pretty pricey. Go with your credit card fully topped up! Plenty of weird and wonderful gifts to choose from..., from wands to sweaters. Fun-loving staff. Great attitude towards kids.
U. D.
What a lovely experience! For die hard harry potter fans, its really a must see. Unfortunately the large volumes of people, does make mobility limited. Store needs to expand, lovely little edge by allowing photos of passing through platform 9 3/4.
F. C.
Nice experience! I went to this shop at 9:30 pm and got lucky to take some photos at Platform 9 3/4. They have a very good collection of Harry Potter merchandise, but quite expensive for some stuffs.
E. Y.
If you consider yourself to be a true Harry Potter fan, this place is a no brainer. A cool experience and a cool shop attached to it. Plan some time for a waiting line, and have in mind that the prices of the memorabilia and merchandise are a bit steep (especially for non-UK residents). But in the end, you can't really put a price on happiness and smiles, now could you? 🙂
M. N.
One of the best small Harry Potter experiences I have ever had, even though it is only a shop. The staff stands as a big part of the experience as they are as nerdy as every hardcore fan, extremely friendly and as enthusiastic as they can get.
The trolley photo comes out amazing and the photographers make sure of it, repeating if needed in case it doesn't come out that good at first. The original stock is very diverse and although it is small it includes most of what you would find in major Harry Potter stores.
It does not come cheap as it is expected from such a big brand but you will find some material with an accessible price.
This is, without any doubt, a must stop for any Potterhead in London as it is a repeatable and unforgettable experience.
K. S.
Fabulous, not the most roomy of shops but plenty of goodies for any Harry fan!
C. Y.
You must visit the shop if you are a Harry Potter’s fan. Every collection is adorable 😍 and you can buy the PLATFORM photo.(1 photo=10£, 2 photos = 15 £ ,3 photos =20£)
T. C.
I'm not even an Harry Potter fan but I still find this a very fun experience. They have a photographer there to take the photo for which you can then purchase the photo with the digital copy. But you can also have your friends just take the photo for you and don't have to buy the photos from the shop. Choice is yours. The shop has plenty of Harry Potter items if you are a fan, you won't be disappointed. Sweats, T-shirt, scarf from each school to suitcases to the wands. Expecto Patronum!
R. N.
Bustling with activity, the Harry Potter store has all the merchandise you can dream of. Wearables and collectibles for all the houses and additional merchandise as well, there's nothing you can't find here. You can also get your own customized acceptance letter to Hogwarts. Absolutely magical.
T. B.
For a Harry Potter fan the store is amazing. Unfortunately, the products are a little expensive but some of them are worth it. The main attraction is the platform 9 3/4 trolley obviously, which is quite fun. You can find the products online, but I recommend going there just for the feeling (HP fans, I'm talking to you 😁).
R. C.
Very fun location. Prices are about what you would expect given the location and theme, but still a lot of fun to visit. Plan to arrive at off hours if you want to take a photo-- it is not a short line. I believe I waited around 40 minutes. Definitely glad I visited, but probably a 1-time thing.
M. K.
It was an amazing place and they had really nice stuff, however the prices were way higher than expected on certain items, a wand for 32£ that's 290DKK and the equivalent to the price of a warm winter jacket, I mean, it's not supposed to be super cheap since it's quality and all, but certain items were 86£ the cheapest were the key chains that went from 4£ and up, really good quality too.
Be prepared to get that wallet emptied 💷
S. F.
There is nothing like this store except pure nostalgia from all the harry potter movies. It sells everything from soft toys shaped like dobby n the owls to the gryffindor sword. It has got the Hogwarts dresses n scarves and collectibles which are a must have for all harry potter fans! Bonus is you can get your picture clicked at platform 9 3/4 !!!
C. L.
Fun cheesy photo OP with all things Harry Potter... what's not to love!?! Picture service is free (they even allow you to take your own if you like), photo prints of course are for sale. Comparable to many "attractions" photos. I purchase 4 paper framed photos for something like £20
A. S. N.
A dream come true for all harry potter fans. They have all the Hogwarts souvenirs and a photographer who will take your photo at the historic Platform 9 3/4 (technically it's 10 3/4 but who cares!)
M. N.
Lovely experience if you are a harry potter fan of course. You can find lots of goodies from pins to badges, t shirts, pens, snitch and many many other memorables. Some of it is quite expensive but I guess still worth it. Staff is helpful and friendly. It's quite crowded though
C. C.
Better prices and similar or same merch from Universal parks but far cheaper.
Super fun atmosphere.
C. H.
If you missed gifts at the studio store, this is a life saver. Very popular so it may get a little crowded.
K. K. I. M. p.
a truely wonderful and inspired place to start your magical home equipment collection. From broom to wand and back ... all the true fan's heart desires.
Get inspired for your favourite house, find all kinds of stuffed friends and future house protectors.
expecto delightment !
N. T.
Staff is very efficient and handles the cascade of tourists and shoppers like true wizards !
Usually very packed but you’ll be able to get to the cashier pretty quickly. Good collection of different Harry Potter merchandise.
The shop is right beside the famous 9 and 3/4 platform and you can get a pic if you don’t mind waiting in the long queue. All in all a lovley magical place to be.
T. C.
Would have given 1 star if I am not a big big fan of harry potter. I mean, I love the book, story, and stuffs; and is worth to see the thing that look alike your dream. But.. too many people and i see no point to wait for two hours for one picture..
F. R.
My absolute favourite store to buy HP merch. Its not too pricey, it has a lot of different products from each Hogwarts house, also from Fantastic Beasts. the store is so beautifully decorated, even if you dont buy anything its a must to go in there. You can also have your picture taken with the trolley outside and buy it inside the store but of course you will have to wait to get the picture taken. Tip: go there on a Monday at 9am , the queue was a loooot shorter. Employees are also very helpful and nice.
A. M. N. L.
Indispensable spot for all Harry Potter's fans! It is an absolutely incredible experience to visit the Platform 9 3/4 and the Harry Potter Shop. You can find all kind of merchadising and hear the soundtrack of the films during your visit. Definitely, you can feel magic comes alive! Mischief managed!
N. N.
It's indeed a must-see place for all HP fans, though they do not propose the picture with the scarf anymore (COVID) and the photographer doesn't make it interactive like they use to do before where they told you to do different poses etc... Kinda disappointing.
S. M.
If you are a Harry Potter fan this place is a must to visit. Shop is right next to this wall with trolly.
Where you can click your pics.
Mind its generally a wait time of 40 to 50 minutes to get your number for this click.
The shop owners can click your pics as well if you wanna purchase it you can pay in shop.
Rest all the Harry Potter collection is there in the shop and you would love each and every single piece in it.
M.
It is a little bit of a gimmick but it is still fun if you are a fan of Harry Potter.
S. H.
Located inside Kings Cross Station next door to the Little Waitrose and Virgins First Class Club Lounge. Well worth a visit. Don't be put off by the queue it moves quickly and is entertaining as it does. We queued 20 minutes but it felt no more than 10! In addition to being able to take your own photographs there is a professional team of both a photographer and prop helper capture the moment you go for the platform for Hogwarts. Professional photographs are available to buy and perhaps a little pricey. The only exit after the photo opportunity is through the souvenir shop which is laden with many goodies...check out the wand section and see which wand chooses you!! Shop well staffed to enable quick help when needed and swift purchase transactions so you don't miss your train.
T. H.
My granddaughter is a Harry Potter fan. I purchased a wand & book mark. The staff was very helpful.
M. K.
Definitely worth visiting! They are usually very busy and overcrowded. The shop looks like from a scene of the Harry Potter Movie. There are 3 rooms, you can even buy your own wand.
S. W.
I've always loved shopping here. The staff are very friendly and the always have a smile for you. They are especially caring towards the young children waiting patiently to recieve their Hogwarts letter.
L. C.
Very expensive it is also all card only which is a shame when kids have their own money to spend. The staff were lovely however some where in character more than others. It is very big either so I would avoid at busy times
H. F.
Thigughtful attention to detail regarding decor, but too small for the crowds it gathers. Prices are higher than the products are worth, but you pay for the convenience of having props for taking pics with paraphernalia at the platform.
A. M.
5 stars. If you're a Harry potter fan this is definitely one of the places you have to hit in central London. One of the best places to get Harry potter stuff if you don't want to travel outside to the studio. You can take photos here of passing through platform 9 and 3 /4
N. P.
The place is nice but overpriced. There are great options of gifts for Harry Potter fans though. Variety of collectables from all parts of the movie!
M. S.
Everyone likes this place but I don't like harry potter over rated.
A. D.
Cool, very cool little place, however is crowded with tourists...better go later in the evening to avoid the long queue.
The Staff is very friendly and helpfull too.
It is a “must do” if you are Harry Potter’s fan!
A. B.
suuuper crowded place. you need to stand in the line at least 30 min to get an opportunity to make a photo near the wall. you’ll get all the stuff related to a chosen faculty, it’s nice. but we were in the evening and weren’t in the mood to wait for so long, that’s why i took and empty photo in between of those in the queue.
you don’t need to wait to enter the shop. so you can go straight there i think.
K. L.
The line to take pictures can be at least an hour at times. The price for the pictures is actually not bad at all. You get 3 different pictures for 20 pounds. However, if you will be going to Warner Bros. Studio, skip this because you can take a similar picture there and there is no line there. And the gift shop there is much bigger.
C. D. T.
If you are a Harry Potter fan, this is a must stop. In my opinion there is nothing crazy special about the actual “platform” but there is a nice gift shop where you can get a wand and many other Harry Potter related items.
The gift shop is definitely worth it!
R. L.
The shop was busy even at 8pm, but it didn't take away from the magic of being in there. They play Harry Potter music that makes you feel like you're on a movie set. They have a wide variety of memorabilia, from silver necklaces to jumpers and teddies. They also sell personalised items - trunks and letters from Hogwarts. The staff are really friendly and you can tell they love working there. The photographer and his assistant are very patient and friendly for having your photo taken with the trolley going through the wall. An amazing experience that I highly recommend if you're able to go!
P. G.
Wonderful shop, which delights both the young and those who read the books first time around. Nothing is cheap but then again you're visiting the shop to make a memory, not to grab a bargain.
A. K.
Great place for Hogwarts memoirs no more expensive than other shops
J. B.
Omg this place is amazing for any Harry Potter fan. £10 for a professional photo at the wall or ur mates can take a pic on your phone.
The shop is heaven.
H. K.
Unique place for Harry potter fans! You have the chance to take a photo at platform 9 3/4 wall, but the queue is too long and the waiting time high. At the shop you can find anything you wish from the Harry Potter world, except for action figures. If you are around and you are a fun, then the place worths a visit.
K. N.
For the hardcore fans of Harry Potter. I think the wands they sell are lovely. And if you wanna take picture of the trolley at platform 3/4 (just outside of the shop), you probably need to queue up for an hour.
A. T.
Obviously you can't get to the actual platform because it's behind a ticket gate, so they did the best possible thing and created a space for fans to pose like they're going through platform 9 3/4 and get a picture of them doing it. Right next to it is a whole shop and it really brings the magic to life. Butter beer is 4.95£ for each bottle which is outrageously high, but everything else was very reasonably priced. The picture they take of you is £10, yule glasses in a set was £18, they have patches, pins, Hogwarts house apparel, wants, save so much more.
Also, the day we went (a Thursday morning) they were giving it free small Lego bags! Really cute souvenir.
A. T.
Busy store but an absolute must visit for a fan of the wizarding world. I was actually surprised by the prices, things are not cheap but I certainly expected to pay more for items considering the store and location. All of the staff were friendly (and dressed in Hogwarts uniforms!) and added to the magic of the visit. Outside of the store is the official platform 9 3/4 sign with the luggage cart half way through the barrier. There was a line to take pictures with the trolley but if you did you got a wand and scarf for the picture. There was a photographer from the store taking your picture which I'm assuming you could purchase inside but they were also fine with someone else taking your picture on your cell phone next to the actual photographer.
A. K.
Must visit place for Harry Potter fans. You can get all the gifts related to Harry Potter and different house. All the staffs are polite and friendly.
F.
The Harry Potter Shop at Platform 9 3/4 ist located inside The Kings Cross Station. Beside IT you can also Take picture going through The Wall of The platform, but There IS usually a large queque. The Shop itself hast some great Merchandising, also some items are exclusive to this paticular Store. Also The decorations are Worth seeing. The Staff at The Store was also Very friendly and helpful.
A. I.
Extremely busy with designated queues outside but if you're a fan then there is loads on offer. I didn't find anything for babies and toddlers which was disappointing but everyone else is well catered for.
M. M.
Incredible experience and store but be prepared to wait for your perfect pic.
M. C.
I mean here is definitely a dream place for all Harry Potter fans. Detailed design in shop is impressive. You can also get a Hogwarts school certificate or just a wand or anything related to HP.
Didn’t queue up for the signature luggage trolley. Feels like it gotta take more than an hour waiting for taking a photo. People lining up even outside of the station entrance.
G. F.
Average prices for most HP merch (aka bit overpriced retail prices) but it's very cute and displayed beautifully. Usually the place is crammed with people and was very empty on my recent visit because of covid, where they have new safety measures in place. Absolutely worth a visit (especially for the cart going into the wall for a photo op).
G. B.
Only our second visit to the shop, and the assistant Bella recognised me and my daughter Abbie straight away!!! It made our day. Bella is the star worker in our opinion and we hope our paths cross again soon! X
A. L.
Located at King's Cross Station. Super crowded but worth it if you are a fan. The merchandise doesn't disappoint. Also next to the entrance of the shop they have a photo op of Platform 9 3/4. Expect to stand in line for that. I walked out of the store spending more than I thought I would but no regrets.
N. B.
Great place to get your trolley photo if you're a Hatty Potter fan! Decor is attention to detail. Lovely. Prices are dear as expected.
W. H.
You can get many things from the store - they offer a variety of custom-name product such as Hogwarts acceptance letter and custom trunk with your name on it. You can also take a picture with the infamous 9 3/4 wall - there were even one dedicated photographer provided by the store but you can also take the picture with your phone.
A. W.
Good shop to tribute to Harry Potter located inside the station with the platform 9 and 3¾ trolley outside the store there is normally a que for this at the time I visited it was empty with no que inside the store is a mass of Harry potter memorabilia from all houses and sweets from the film series from chocolate frogs to all flavour jelly beans and yes all flavours and butter beer there a few items from the fantastic beast series in here as well but the top part of this was the staff and how they bring the magic to life with the children in the store they do a super job only reason for not getting 5 stars is the price of items in the store while you will always pay for memorabilia items a couple of items in the store was overpriced for the quality
A. Y.
Very busy and touristic but still a must visit for any fan! The staff is helpful and attentive as they can be with so many people/tourists. Also with taking the pictures they help you with creating the moment. This might be annoying when waiting but is so worth it when it is your turn!
f. j.
Fun place for Harry Potter fans to buy some souvenirs or to take pictures. Prices are quite expensive (to not say abusive 🙄).
If you are not fan of Harry Potter it will not be fan for you.
S. L.
The experience was magical! Lovely help and everything I wanted was there.
Bella!! The lovely cashier who made my day, week, and year - THANK YOU!!! If by some miracle you see it, reach out<3 you are absolutely wonderful and thank you for noticing my flag and using the pronouns; I’m still overwhelmed! THANK YOU<3
F.
Located at King's Cross Station London the famous Platform 9 & 3/4 from the Harry Potter movies is recreated with the ability to have your photo taken by the Harry Potter shop next door photographer (cost) or a friend or relative for free. The shop contains an assortment of various memorabilia featured in the books & from the movies.
Nice to visit if a Harry Potter fan passing through but would instead or as well as highly recommend a visit to the Studio Tour at Leavesden just outside Watford for a truly wonderful experience of the work & methods used in the making of the Harry Potter movies, but that's a subject for whole other review.
A.
Amazing place for a Harry Potter fan.But it's not too big, very crowded and really expensive.
B.
Bit pricy but what you expect. Lots to offer, we didn't get a photo with the trolley on the platform as there was a long queue. Got a few badges and a keyring.
N. J.
A great selection of Harry Potter merchandise on offer. There's something here for all fans. The downsides - most things here are quite overpriced (shocker), and you have to queue to get in to the shop via the photo op (possibly partly down to social distancing rules). The 'Honeydukes' offerings have got better, but could go further. Shame many (many) items aren't priced and often staff don't know without checking...
S. K.
It is just a platform but it's a Harry Potter platform - it's located in tye main train station at the back and they have a great HP shop there too, which is normally open until quite late. Recommend especially as a visitor to the UK.
J. H.
A wide range of clothes and souvenirs for Harry Potter fans whatever house they were sorted into. The chocolate in the gold bars is about a mile thick. My Ravenclaw jumper is very warm. The prices aren't bad considering the location.
M. R.
When I went a few years ago, there was a very long line to get your photo taken. The shop prices were a bit expensive, but it was a nice experience to have and the professional photo is high quality.
J. F.
This is the best gift shop I've ever been in mostly because Harry Potter is the best universe ever conceived. The creator, JK Rowling, has such a vivid and unique imagination. I also thoroughly enjoyed everything in the UK which includes the WB studio tour not too far from London.
P. B.
Visited here whilst waiting to queue for photi opportunity at platform 9 3/4. Well stocked shop, came away with a golden snitch.
A. C.
A magical place for any Harry potter fan! Kids loved it ... wife loved it .... my wallet wept as we left 😄 🤣 great place though
R. W.
As far as novelty shops go, I really enjoyed The Harry Potter Shop. It is a must stop if you, or your kids, are fans of the books. It is the perfect place to get gifts for the Harry Potter fans in your life. They have everything from the chocolates and candies consumed in the books, to getting personalized letters from Hogwarts. You'll definitely be able to find a great gift for anyone who enjoys Harry Potter.
Y. S.
An absolute treat for any Potter head. You can find all kinds of memorabilia such as wands, scarfs, keychains, quills, brooms(Yes the actual quidditch broom) and even the dreaded horcruxes. The counter is similar to Olivanders wand shop and you can find elves hanging around.
J. M.
Great shop for Potter fans, all houses represented and you can always find something magical!
E. K.
IRRESISTIBLE place for all of Harry Potter's fan! Don't miss the chance to pick your favorite house's scarf and take a picture with your phone or you can buy it at the shop (it also worth it). The shop is quite small but they have all you need.
m. m.
The staff where all very friendly and helpful but security guard not as much I have never felt as uncomfortable in a shop in my life because of the security guard, besides this a nice place to visit.
S. J.
They are very friendly, to click photo with Harry Potter luggage trolly come before 9:30 PM. After that u can click photo without luggage trolly , only with wall .
R. N.
Very Good...and Love the Themed Shop... Very busy as Expected.... Obviously its Location is Prime for Very Good reason... it'll Catch alot of Business... An Absolute must for all Harry Potter Fans... Staff are very polite/ Theme Dress all Part of the Experience... Great range of Potter Merchandise for all Fans... and of Course the Photo Opportunity for all Harry Potter Fans... Holding the Trolley as you Get your Train from Platform 9 and 3 Quaters.... Enjoy.... I Would Advise Checking online for opening Times.... Enjoy 😉
A. M. H.
I love the Harry Potter shop at Kings Cross, right next to the 9 and 3/4 entrance they have made for muggles to take pictures. The store itself was full of beaming and gleaming magical merchandise and Potterhead galore, enough to make you want to buy every single item. They had a good selection of items for each of the 4 houses, however as a Ravenclaw, I feel very unhappy they changed the Ravenclaw logo on all the merchandise from above. This have made me buy way less than I would otherwise! Amazing selection of wands and robes as well as everything sweet.
k. g.
The wall was an anti-climax. Expected something bigger. Shop was pretty good. Prices would have been justified if the stuff sold was locally made instead of in China.
D. W.
Fantastic photo opportunity for all HP fans! Great shop too. Short walk from London St Pancras International station, just follow the signs for Kings Cross.
M. P.
You can find all stuffs of Harry potter's films.
Normal prices
I suggest buying some souvenirs if you are a fan of HP
J.
The shop was pretty crowded when I first got there but there wasn't so many people in the morning. There's a lot of HP merch you can buy it's a really nice place to visit if you're a fan of Harry Potter. Also the staff there was wonderful.
J. R.
Massive crowds the two days I tried to visit (Thursday and Friday in January). Didn't want to wait an hour or more to get my photo taken. But it is a cool place. The shop is overpriced, of course, but very interesting items for HP fans.
t. s.
A big big big JOY for the Potterheads. Visiting this place for me was a dream, even though it's not ditto like movies, bit the fact that you are there is magical. All the Potter stuff here, they even have a section of wall like Olivanders wand shop, where you can buy you wand.
L. D.
Very nostalgic shop, it feels exactly like what you would want a harry potter shop to feel like, if you are near by and like Harry potter definatley worth the visit.
E. F.
Fab experience had, my Kids loved it, they are massive Harry Potter fans. They had their photo taken at the trolley ( I highly advise buying the VIP ticket from their online store as that entitles you to a free photo and you get to jump the que!!!!) As expected the shop it's self was busy but well worth a visit for any Harry Potter fan. 😁😁😁😁
P.
It’s Platform 9 3/4!!! It surely the must visit place if you are Harry Potter’s fan! I’ve got a very nice photo. The stuff can flick my scarf like a magic! There always a long queue here for the photo. It may takes you at lease half an hour. I also got the Hogwarts letter with my name and address from the shop!
D. S.
Dream destination for Potterheads! Be prepared for long queues at the photo booth on weekends.
The store isn't too expensive either and you'd find good souvenirs to buy without burning a hole in your pocket.
O. L.
What about going to Platform 9 and three quarters ? This is not only a shop where they sell potter s goodies, but it is also a small musuem where you will find the original wands of your favorite Barry Potter Character :Dumbledor, Snap, Harry, Hermoine Granger, Ron Wasely, He-who-must-not-be-named (Voldermort) , and everyone else. If you were a fan of Harry, you ve got to come here.
You can buy from here the scarf of Gryfendor or slethrine.
You can also take pictures with platform 9 3/4 .... just come before 8 pm.
There are food shops and restaurants nearby the shop.
R. G.
So cute inside! Got some butterbeers, which made my day. Only flaw is the queuing system; classic British muggles, lingering around till' directed (URGH).
J. G.
Its a nice shop to buy unique items of harry potter..
E. K.
Realy nice place. Quick and easy attraction in King's Cross
A. W.
Brilliant little shop that cost me a fortune with my daughter. But worth every penny both for quality as well as the smile on her face.
M. S.
It was as good the experience could be, you stand and hold onto the trolley, take a picture and then have a wander around the shop. Can't fault it and staff were friendly, maybe don't look at the prices of things as you walk around the shop as it may put you off
А. В.
Amazing Harry Potter’s place :)
Kids happy 😊
Full shop of people 😅
Friendly staff 👍🏻
T. (.
A bit overrated but it's free visit and you can take a pic of the platform 9 3/4 so fair enough
A. P.
Lovely little shop. For all ages 👍
Y. P.
Well stocked enough to get what you may want. The photo session was excellent. They were very kind.
M. D. B.
Wonderful!!
It's a fantastic shop. There are a loro of things about Harry Potter and the 4 student house of Hogwarts!
Outsider You Can Do pics with the harry's cart in the Wall of station! It Is magic! They give you Wand and Scarf to do the perfect photo!
Sweaters, t-shirt, socks, hats, necklaces, bracelets, pins, posters...and the magic Wands of All the story's characters!! They are 🔝!!
Theresa was also a competitions to win something about Harry Potter world!
I have bought a loro of things there!
A. K.
Potterheads must visit the shop.
Its official store so, if you are going in, you absolutely know why😉
R. R.
Visited London in the summer and as a fan there was no way i was going to miss visiting platform 9 3/4 you. It's best to go as early as possible to avoid the really long lines the gift shop had a great selection of fandom items to get your photo taken with the trolley you will have to stand in line for a while once it's taken you can head into the gift shop to purchase your copy and shop around but when i went it was really crowed and a bit cramped so you will feel a bit rushed but other then that it was great!
J. A.
HP fans will love this place.
I. M.
My favorite shop in London! Always super busy but shop is always tidy and nice. Very friendly staff
C. M.
Smaller than expected but definitely filled with so much Harry Potter merch! Great staff!
R. S.
Nice little shop, needed to make sure they limited the amount of people in as it was crowded but all in all a great experience. If you're a potter head then it's definitely worth visiting here.
U. K.
If you didn't get to go to Warner Bros studio, here is also a very good choice between Harry Potter related stuff to buy. :)
T. S.
The experience was really nice. Can take free photos. The staff is really helpful. They will also help you to take proper photos as well. However can take photos by ourselves too
B. T.
Well stocked, quite overpriced of course, but still has lots of HP bits and pieces, including all the wands. Snitch demonstration was cool. Obviously everyone goes crazy for the platform 9 3/4 outside. Saw that staff help people take photos and lend them props too, a VERY nice touch.
C. L.
Far too crowded and quite tacky
I. B.
That is a lovely spot. There is magic of some kind, or it might have been a dream of my childhood. Overall, they have managed to create a delighting atmosphere. Must visit for all fans of HP universe.
A. Z.
Had to queue up a bit to take a photo of the trolley through the wall to platform 9 3/4 but it is okay. Line is managed well by the staff and you can get your photo via email too.
J. L. I.
If you are really into Harry Potter I suppose it is cool but I found the same merchandise cheaper on Amazon. The line for the 9-3/4 thing was about an hour long but appeared the staff was doing all they could to make each visitor's experience special.
A. P.
Really nice shop with LOTS of Harry Potter products, very nicely decorated. I found the products totally overpriced, thus the 4 stars, but I guess this is to be expected from official merchandising shops... it's too bad though, because I would have been more willing to spend money if the prices hadn't been so high.
J. L.
Fantastic location with a great selection of things to buy. Not over crowded either.
M. N.
Shop has everything for HP lovers. Photo opportunities outside shop with sign on the wall and a photographer. Not actually on a platform in the station.
Y. M.
Things are a bit pricey and it's super packed. There are some interesting stuff sold. Very commercial but the Harry Potter craze will never end.
M. L.
This place was awesome! We got our picture taken. They let you take your own of your friends and also sell the professionally taken photos. They were only £10! The shop has a lot of great Harry Potter souvenirs and gifts!
J. F.
Smaller then I expected but plenty of items Well organized by houses. A different wand shop and trinkets were fun to look at. Conveniently next to Platform 9 3/4 to take photos and purchase inside.
A. F.
Many of items are missing and not available to buy. In general great idea but they have serious issues with stocks.
J. S.
I am not a HP fan but went with my mum and brother (they both love HP) and found the shop to actually be quite cool. If you like HP, I'd definitely recommend checking out this shop.
c. w.
A good selection of Harry Potter items, although of course a bit expensive. Fun shop to look around.
M.
This review is based on my visit 2 years ago as I had some time to spare.
The place is set on the actual Train Station(duh) which actually gives you the vibe of being there and then. If you are planning to visit I would say but the ticket on their page first as this place is crowded with people and I mean both the photo area as well as the store/shop itself.
Either way I would recommend to any Harry Potter fan or geek
H. L.
I loved the Harry Potter shop because it was like I was in Diagon ally and got all my school stuff there
.
B. K.
Everything you want it to be. It coult only be made better if I actually got through the wall, but since science is all we muggles know - I give it 5 stars.
A. Z.
Shop entrance and art style just fit the shop well. Definitely recommend for Harry Potter fanfiction out there
J.
A nice little shop with some different bits and pieces. It's similar to the Harry potter store in Harry potter world, but in a far more convenient location if you are a fan. They have a trolley in the wall and offer professional photos on the way in.
G. S.
Next to the famous photo-spot of platform 9 3/4, you can find a Harry Potter themed gift shop. It was quite busy at the time we went. You can find sweets, souvenirs, clothing items, wands etc. Worth visiting if you like the books.
T. T.
There is nothing more to say about this shop I think, the name itself says it all.
A very big shop full of Harry Potter's items for every age and every kind of people
A bit expensive yes, but it is worth it
R. O.
Some nice Harry Potter merch, shop was tiny and crowded.
M. V.
If you like Harry Potter you'll love this shop but make sure you're able to splash the cash!
S. C.
The staff is very kind and attentive, prices are not too high considering they come from an official source, and as a tourist, it was very pleasant to go
P. K.
All si beatifull, but I couldn't buy anything, because after choosing everything, I got to pay and they didn't want to charge me with cash because they only accept a card as a means of payment
K. C.
I wouldn't wait in line for the pics they take of you(it's a long wait), but taking a pic of the "platform" and cart, then looking through the souvenir store was fun :)
E. A.
Must experience for alllllllll the people in the world. Harry potter fans will get crazy and always must be top of bucket list
S. L.
Amazing place to visit. My friend and I left 3 times and kept going back in because something else caught our eye! I liked how they had a wall where each house had is own little section. I’d say it could use a bit more for the Hufflepuff side but I’m biased 😂. The staff there were really great and seemed to be having fun with their job.
H. R.
Located at Kings Cross station, the store has everything that a harry potter fan can wish for. Fans can also take a picture at the famous platform 9 3/4. Wands may also be purchased here. The scarfs for each houses are also reasonably priced. Definitely a must visit.
L. M.
Was nice to see the Harry Potter platform, nice happy atmosphere with people getting their photos taken. The shop is very nice with a great selection of items and is much bigger than I expected. However, only 3 stars as very expensive!! Over £4 for a chocolate frog and £18 for a scarf!
L. _.
It's a cool Harry Potter shop,it's small but cool it not like the one of the Warner Brothers studios, but it's ok,you can buy wands, candy, school uniforms, scarfs, books and a lot of other things,I give it a 3 ⭐ :)
A. S.
This shop looks like a part of the wizarding wold crashed into a muggle train station. The staff is very nice and helpful and the merchandise diverse and (why not go there) magical.
10 out of 10 would shop there again.
D. A. M.
Magical shopping place for your Harry Potter's fans kids, or might as well yourself.
P.
Such a cute shop. You can buy pretty much anything from the Weasley Christmas sweaters to the personalized Hogwarts acceptance letter.
W. M.
Twice the price of shop at Warner bros studios ..just go there.you won't be disappointed
M. S.
Jesus, it's amazing place. So many fun stuff like these amazing Harry Potter chess, t-shirts, or these amazing wizards wands !
A.
Long line but it goes very fast..you will wait 40 min to get a picture..it is alowed to take photos whit your own camera so you dont have to pay 10£ for photo..perfect for Harry Potter fans..enjoy 😀
J. J.
Great collection of exclusive merch. Really crowded and busy.
M. L.
Nice little Harry potter shop at the London metro station. You can take some professional pictures outside and enjoy the shopping while waiting for your next train.
B. B.
Its amazing really bringing the true magic to life, but could they add a pop-socket for phones in fifferent houses and snitch?
A.
This is the famed Harry Potter Platform shot every tourist has to visit before leaving London. If you come on a weekend, prepare to brave the long lines, but if you come on a weekday it isn’t so bad. Keep in mind that the station is also open 24 hours on the weekend so if you’re feeling up for the photo at 2 AM then it might be better for you since almost nobody will ever be there. The shop is great. Quite pricey but hey, that’s Harry Potter for you.
A. A.
This place is indeed a magic! Must go for all the Potterheads 💙
m. c.
Good selection on collectibles and Souveniers, wish they had more...I recommend
M. H. L.
Love it the shop about Harry Potter...Full of peoples and tourists perfect
R. S.
Really nice. Visit close to eob for best sevice and short wait for 9 3/4 pic.
K. S.
The shop is located in the King's Cross station towards very end. Lines to get the pictures with the trolley are usually pretty long. They put on the scarf on you and someone usually waves it in the back, while their coworker takes pics. You can also ask someone in the line to take your pics. Inside the shop the items are very expensive. Pro tip: if you are visiting London from overseas, just wait and buy everything from the Heathrow Airport. The shop on Terminal 5 has everything about 20% less, because of no VAT.
P. T.
Fantastic.... photographs amazings so well done.... photographer real professional..... shop amazing too...
C. D.
Oh my god what a dream come true! As a child I always wanted to come here!!
I even treated myself to some exploding bon bons from the museum next door
D. H.
Inside St. Pancras station you will find platform 9 3/4 (you can't go inside the real train terminal without a valid ticket, but in a new addendum there are restaurants - and this mostly desired location), where you can do a distinctive photo of yourself vanishing in one of the walls. The adjoining shop offers anything a young or even older Harry Potter fan longs for. Figurines, books, wands, jewelry and sweets, everything J.K. Rowling might have thought of and described inside her books is on sale. The staff is friendly, helpful and attentive.
J. B.
We went here the week leading up to Christmas. By opening there was a queue to get the photograph and not long after there was a queue to get into the shop. The shop offers some unique items to Platform 9 3/4. The rest of the merchandise can be found elsewhere at better prices. Still worth a visit just for the significance of the location.
A. W.
When writing her first children's book, J K Rowling surely never expected the real King's Cross Station to open an actual Platform 9¾ - which even though only a retail store and photo opportunity, turns out to be every bit as busy as the station's genuine platforms and other shops. There is always a queue to have your picture taken dressed in your favourite Hogwarts school scarf pushing your luggage trolley through the magical wall entrance into the Wizarding World, and although you can buy official photos if you want, you can snap your own for free.
Even the shop section, which has been expanded significantly since it first opened, sometimes gets so busy that it has its own queue to enter. It's worth the wait for any Harry Potter fan though, and you can get all sorts of wonderful items, from pocket money souvenir items, house shirts and scarves, toy or prop-replica wands, all the way up to some seriously expensive collectable products from the Noble Collection range. A bit pricey (this is not Poundland or Primark!) but not abnormally so for official licensed merchandise.
G. D.
Amazing store with all the essentials for every Harry Potter fan.
P. S.
Great place! There are a lot of things from HP. Staff are very helpful. But you can only pay by card in the store
K. F.
Amazing place! They have all sorts of things and the prices are very good compared to others Harry potter's shops around the country. The people who work in the place are very kind and attentive.
V. F.
The staff is super friendly and absolutely wonderful! The store has very good prices for official Harry Potter merchandise. I know people are saying expensive, but the merchandise here is way more affordable than the Harry Potter tour and theme parks. Plus they have many exclusives that the parks and tour don't! I would recommend going to the Platform picture line later in the evening. My sister and I first tried going during the afternoon and the line was very long. We came back later at night and the line was much shorter. It is well worth the wait! If you are a true Harry Potter fan, this is a must visit and the picture something you have to do!
c. c.
Nice shop, but always packed and pricey for what you get.
k. n.
Great place if you are a harry potter die hard fan. 😄😄😄splendid shop to get your gifts and souvenirs for any harry potter fan you know. At least dont haveta go all the way to the harry potter studio to get them. Its right at the far end of st pancras/kings cross station. You cant miss it as there will be a large crowd in front of the store. Here you can also get a photo with the infamous trolley in the wall but for a fee 😂😂😂 they are also earning your money with the photo shoot. Imo, items for sale is a bit on the high side but hey, what the heck.... its not everyday you are buying!! 😁😁😁lotsa stuff lotsa items, if not for the price, would have bought more 😂😂😂 even if you are not a fan, just drop by and be enchanted with the harry potter story
J. K.
Lovely place to take photos and buy Harry Potter souvenirs.
R. A.
Great experience, staff was so helpful and nice. Even on a crazy, busy, chaotic day in the store they took the time to find the products I was looking for and help me! Highly recommend.
C. H.
A must see if you're a harry potter fan. However you'll notice every other fan is there too, very busy. Still worth the visit.
T. H.
We took our 10 year old who is a huge fan . The staff were great and really welcoming and immediately offered to take a professional picture which was nice of our daughter at the 9 3/4 platform. The shop was nicely set out and was our daughters absolute dream. The guy that was demonstrating the wands in the shop had so much enthusiasm and really had her engaged . He was using a wand book ( one of many so we were told ) he was able to help us identify which book my daughter wanted and thanks to his help we have now tracked said book down for a future Xmas present. ( sadly out of stock in store ). We went home with a very happy daughter . Thank you for a great visit.
C. P.
If you love Harry Potter this place it's going to be like Christmas for u! Everything it's amazing! It's like being in the movie, I love everything I got!
Е. Е.
It is a nice place to take pictures and enjoy beautifully decorated shelves but the prices are higher than in other shops. So I would recommend taking a look and buying somewhere else.
S. o. P.
The location is quite easy to reach. The problem is the waiting line outside to get in the store. We had to wait 20 minutes, and after that it was still waaaayyyyy to busy inside the store. The amount of products they had was amazing though. The price was best compared to all the others stores we've been to.
a. h.
As expected, must see place for potter heads. The shop has a very good ambience and very well made. The merchandise are as expected are expensive but the good range of products.
I. S.
Amazing place to visit. Wonderful experience. Not advertised as much it should be.
T. a. K. R.
This is a must do if you are a Harry Potter fan. My oldest has read the books and she loved this experience. We were able to take pictures for free and the kids bought pencils from all the different houses. Overall a great experience.
E. L. J.
Great place to buy loads of Harry Potter merchandise. Just be wary that there are queues and it can get busy.
S. W.
It's ok if your a harry potter fan, but very overpriced for the items you buy. Such a shame.
K.
A much better experience than anticipated! The people who work here are so enthusiastic and kind, it really makes the experience more magical. Outside there's a line, and they let you borrow a scarf in the colors of your house, and they take a professional photo. But you can also take one with your phone or camera if you wish. Anyway you have the choice to buy the pro photo, and we actually ended up doing it, since they had a deal if you bought two. The items are quite pricy, as can be expected, but they have many cute things. Very nice experience.
I. O.
Has really beautiful stuff. Any potterhead would feel like this is heaven. However, stuff is a little pricey. The books are at least £8 each.
The Sword of Griffindor is on display, but goes for a whopping £245. Lucius Malfoy's wand for about £120.
There are however some cheaper gift items you could get here. Each costing at least £5. But definitely worth the trip. There's one at Heathrow terminal 5, and another at London Euston/King's Cross.
W. T.
Great shop filled with a wide range of Harry potter items, even make-up now! We always try to pick up a little something from here when we visit kings cross. 4 star as the prices are always the full RRP and can be gotten cheaper online.
C.
one of them things where you have to get a photo, its quieter at night time as in the afternoon you can queue for a fair while for a picture
A. M.
As a Harry Potter fan and frequenter of King's Cross station, I'm often passing time while waiting for a train by browsing this shop. It's always incredibly busy, but the layout is quite good so it's usually fairly easy to navigate. The pricing is not too severe - at least it seems to be on par with similar merchandise found online and at the studios. Great selection, and perfect location!
C. K. (.
They sell nice stuff and there's something for every happy potter fan. (from charms to cups and wands) There are a lot of people all the time and you might have to queue for a while.
A. B.
Very well stocked, lots of options and the customer service was excellent. It was quite busy but that’s to be expected.
I.
Good shop if you are a harry potter fan. There have a lot of stuff you can buy. The only thing i didn't like is that the place is a little tiny and crowdy, but by the rest is a good place to see if you are visiting London. I'll recomend it.
B. J. G.
So the store itself is actually extremely small, that or the layout is just wrong for the shape of the store, as the till for check outs is right near the entrance of the store, which is split into two sections, making getting through the entrance and to a section you want really hard.
It would be in your best interest as a potter fan to realise what you want to buy and go in the store looking for them, as they only let a certain amount of people in at a time and dilly dallying is just a no go.
The store itself is potter themed, with giant lanterns above and the ability to buy trunks, scarfs, accessories etc everywhere you look. You can even buy jumpers, hoodies and shirts for your favourite house - however (as a Hufflepuff) it's increasingly annoying to me that the Hufflepuff merch is beige and not yellow so keep that in mind!
Lovely place with pleasent staff though! 🌻❤️
A. T.
Cool place! Keep in mind that taking picture of the platform 9 and 3/4 and a cart is not free! They are gonna charge a ridiculously high fee for that...
M. S.
Lovely store filled with great items for gifting or yourself
j. d. s.
OMG you could not be more excited to know about Platform 93/4
남.
This shop is like ant hell~~~~~~^^ I entered there but I couldn't escape there without buying something.... You can be taken pictures as reenact Harry Potter episode1.
J.
Its great. I walk past it every morning on my way to work
Seems busy .
K. B.
Lovely shop crammed full of HP merchandise. So much choice. It did feel a bit cramped so could do with a bigger plot. Also the downside is they only take card payments which meant my children who had been saving their pocket money couldn't actually buy themselves, had to use an adult to pay by card and they pay adult back which they were disappointed about.
V. G.
Good place to get trinklets, memrobilia and a photo opportunity with the cart disappearing in the wall at platform 9 3/4 ! Got myself a Gryffendor neck tie
A. G.
If You are a fan you need to get a photo at the platform🤩
W. G.
Lots of lovely goodies but packed so prepare to que for both the shop and if you want your photo taken
R. B.
We went there middle November. Not a high season but the line to take a picture was ridiculous! I had to wait for one hour.
The store is nice. The price is OK! .
The price for the pictures is good.
T. M.
This shop is located at the King's Cross St Pancras station in London. You can reach here easily by using underground. The shop is a heaven for a Harry Potter series fans. It has so many things to buy and all made of a good quality material. Here's a small list what all you can buy in the shop: Wand, Pin, Bag, Robe, Jacket, Show pieces, Snitch, scarfs, Shirts, Personal letters and much more. The prices of the items vary. Some things were pretty expensive while some were affordable. But overall, the shop has almost every Harry Potter souvenir collection and would recommend to visit it atleast once. You can also click a picture at Platform 9 3/4.
A. L.
magical shop but often crowded.. tbh you can get a far greater selection of the Noble collection at less cost at the Noble shop near Covent Garden.. and it's far more magical there
D. Y.
A place to visit if you're an avid Harry Potter fan. I didn't find the goods particularly appealing, though.
D. H.
A magical shop for any Harry Potter fans ,great selection of all types of memories ✨
J. S.
Hopped off the train at Kings Landing excited to see the famous sign "Platform 9 3/4". Just a short walk to the spot where we find a line an hour and a half long, in which some of the wait is outside the train station. You must then wait in a queue to walk into the store. Once inside, we realize the wait was only the beginning. The extremely crowded store was a shoving match much compared to Black Friday shopping. We quickly made work to getting what we "must have" and got in a line that wrapped the store for checkout. Reflecting.... go early, prepare to wait, and be a bit aggressive.
H. B.
Busy, very busy but excellent. Good photography at a reasonable price all things considered.
D. C.
Im not a Harry Potter fan, but it's super cool to see all that stuff.
You can take a picture for free at the platform 9 3/4, or pay 10 pounds for a professional picture with a help of the staff to make you look great.
A good option for those who don't want to spend a lot of money is to buy the replica and a magnet. You will spend 6 pound and will have a last longin souvenir.
Another cool thing to see is the platform wall without the trolley after the store closing hours. They remove the car. It's at least interesting.
A hint: toilets at this station is decent and it's right beside the store. Make use of it.
G. D.
I think the shop was pretty expensive. £15 for a child's t shirt, £10 for a keyring. Don't think it's pocket money things for kids. Plenty of selection and didn't have to queue long to take a photo at the 9 and 3/4 Station. The children loved that.
L. H.
Very good experience. They are now selling butterbeer there as well.
S. T.
Absolutely love this shop. I pay a visit every time I come to London. Feels so magical inside and had every piece of merchandise you could ever ask for, not to mention the photo opportunity outside the shop itself. All the more better being inside Kings Cross station!
J. S.
Bit crowded, this being a weekend. But a Potter fan's wonderland. The banter with the shop assistants are also wonderful, it's SUCH a happy place!
D. W.
Not difficult to get to, use the tube if you are in London! Pretty obvious where it is located, there is always a massive queue to get your photos taken pushing the trolley! You take take your own or buy the professional ones in the shop. It does get busy, but the lines are well organised and the photographers professional, so it does move fast. The shop itself can get very busy, but what do you expect! Prices are okay, but the shop surely provides the best selection of Harry Potter stuff anywhere.
C. C.
Lovely staff! If you want you can buy a picture or take your own..
C. M.
This place is awesome, they do have a queue to take a picture with Harry Potter cart, but they have an option to get VIP access to skip the line and get a free photo out of. Recommend the VIP if you are press for time. If not expect to wait in queue for a bit.
D. I.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. I bought some souvenirs also. Great store.
G. M.
As far as souvenir shops go this one is decent.
Not crazy prices and a great range of stock.
Worth mentioning they only took card payments when I was there last.
J. C.
A fun little shop, with every kind of Harry Potter memorabilia you can think of. As you can imagine, this is London, so expect to spend a lot of money here.
A. L.
Nice small place.
A. B.
Amazing collection! There's a free photo booth on the top floor where where you can dress up and hey clicked
d. 7.
Just for big fans, you may take a picture whit the generous effort of some kind staff, the provide wands and your favorite house’s scarf
You may wait maybe 30 minutes in line to do this, or go straight to the shop...
You may have the chance to take this photo if you go to Warner Tour, but this is King’s Cross..
ר. ד.
Harry Potter merchendize store, nice for Harry Potter fans although not cheap
D. A.
A very interesting place, and the wand seller really knew her wands and Harry Potter.
M. *. A.
It's crowded and overpriced, true enough, but for the Harry Potter fans and kids at heart, it's a must visit for souvenirs from JK Rowling's magical universe.
J. v. D.
Amazing shop, very helpful people and many goods to purchase which are symbolic to different aspects of the movies. Platform 9 3/4 actually exists, owls are around, real flying Golden Snitches and many items worth collecting.
U. B. A.
Hell expensive. Should have kept in mind that some of the visitors coming in are students and need some small souvenirs to take back with them. Also for the picture, they were spending excruciatingly long time on each of the person that the line was getting longer and longer making me leave without a picture.
E. M.
Helpful staff, very children friendly and nice souvenirs. Relatively expensive but my little one managed to save and pay for her Ron Weasley's magic wand!
B. M.
A very busy shop! You can have your photo taken by the wall, very clever concept and the shop was filled with 'Potter ' and partners bits and pieces. Hidden at the far end, obviously by platform 9. Clever.
K. V.
Worth the visit for every HP fan but get ready for long queues.
M. F.
Crazy busy, but kind of a fun experience. I would suggest getting to both the store and the picture line as soon as you can in the morning because it gets crazy busy. Also, if you have luggage keep someone outside of the shop and just take turns going in because otherwise you are going to have a hard time manuevering around with your baggage and the amount of people there.
N. N.
Great shop for Harry Potter fans , like my daughter. Ussully is long queue to get a pic but we were lucky there was only one person, I believe after lock down is no so crowded.
C. C.
Kids loved this, full of everything Harry Potter you could imagine, quite pricey though.
B. R.
Platform 9¾ is a must-see place for all Harry Potter fans. You can take a picture like you are entering the platform. They have a souvenir shop nearby to buy some goodies if you need some.
R. G.
I'm not overly into Harry Potter but my daughter is and on the way from Brighton to Westfield, we decided to go over to Kings Cross and take a look. Worth a visit for every Harry Potter fan but make sure the bank account is in good shape ☺ we came away with a few souvenirs from the shop and I came away with a very happy daughter...
I.
If you are a harry potter fan, you will love this shop. They have accessories , books, keychains , clothing, masks, bags, magic wands , etc all belonging to the authentic harry potter brand. Its a small shop on the St. Pancres station and generally has a long queue to take pics. They charge £20 for a professional pic in harry potter pose. They let take you pics. Its a good shop to collect soviniers for harry potter fans. The shop is accessible.
S. S.
Apart from having to wait in the queue my daughter loved it cant wait for her to finish the film's and come back again !
N. M.
I didn't have time to take a photo because of the line. It would probably be a 15 min wait. But from the looks on everyone's faces once they did manage to take their photo, it seems worth it.
L. M.
This is a great shop, you really get the feel of being in a shop in disgon alley, much better than the gift shop at the Harry Potter Studios!
P. K.
Awesome shop.. where we able to grab all the awesome Harry Pottet collectables items.. if you wanted to snap the picture with the Harry Potter platform 9 3/4 please be early if you wanted to avoid the long que.. If Que approximately will take 2 hrs to snap the pictures.. shop open at 8am
G. G.
The place was CRAMMED! Has a lot of HP merchandise. Worth a visit if you're a fan. Otherwise you can skip it as most of the stuff they sell can be bought elsewhere or online.
If you want to take a picture at the 9 and 3/4 platform, expect at least to be in line for AT LEAST 35 minutes. If you want the cart to be on your picture, there's no other option. If you just want to be near the sign and snap a shot, it's alright. Another thing you can do is to show up after 10 pm - the cart will be gone but there will be no queues to take pictures at the sign.
P. P.
Right inside the station near platform 10 (funnily enough!). You can pay to have your photo taken at platform 9 3/4 for £15... They are also available for free at the studio tour, so if you're doing that, don't bother here. It's fun to watch the kids get excited though! The shop can get super busy, and it is fairly small so keep that in mind if you have young children or prams.
E. D.
Great place, if a bit on the expensive side, children love it, as do many excited adults
S.
Really enjoyed the shop however some items were overpriced
L. B.
Perfect for all those harry potter lovers out there! Although prices are higher than expected, it is a great experience to see 'the famed wall' and meet other fans.
D. G.
The Harry Potter shop had such a great variety of things from wizard wands and capes to 'magical' chocolates and symbolic memories from each film. A must place to visit 😀.
B. B.
Definitely fun to see if you're a Harry Potter fan.
c. s.
Tips for going here : come early in the morning like really early and u can browse around the store stress free. If not you'll be rubbing but with other people.
À. S.
Nice and magic place. The problem was the noissy muggles on the street but whatever, recomendated shop.
F. G.
Cool shop but needs more variety of products and more affordable prices
K. C.
Amazing shop, lovely staff, fun place to visit
S. K.
Very nice please to visit for Harry Potter movies lovers. The cue is long to get a picture with the trolley and you can take pictures with your own camera. The shop is great. Staff are very friendly.
N.
The store is amazing! It’s in King’s cross st. Pancras station. You can take a photo with platform 9 3/4.
V. O.
I passed by shop and platform 9 3/4 going thought King's Cross station. It is an amazing place for Harry Potter fans to visit. Photo queue is generally massive as there was already about 30 people there in the queue and that was before midday
T. K.
Great shopping place for Harry Potter's lovers
A. J.
Like a little gem tucked away in a busy station.. friendly staff who would take as many pictures as you like for you. The shop is small but has Harry Potter essentials.
Location: near toilets at King's Cross Station
P. H.
Lovely store. Eapecially for harry potter fans out there
T. C.
Yup. You found it. The Harry Potter station. It's in the public, non-paid part of the station inside, you'll find a wall with half a travel cart fastened to it for people to line up and take photos pretending to go through it. Then next to that you'll find a Harry Potter themed shop (where you typically also line up to enter). Though if you really wanted the spot I suppose you would have to buy a train ticket and go to the actual King's Cross Platform 9. The tourist trap is only located just outside the gates to the platform.
D. E.
Was not able to cross over because muggles were watching and influencers were taking too many selfies...
s. k.
Amazing place to shop for Harry Potter enthusiasts. A must visit place for any potterhead who is in London.
s. e.
Its always pretty crowded area. No matter what time of the day or night, there’s always somebody in the line. Lol. Cool stuff inside!
C. M.
It's funny to watch people taking pictures there 😂. There's a HP store beside the "platform" too.
A. T.
Love this shop! All the Harry Potter paraphernalia you could think of! I'd like to buy the whole shop...
D. H.
Very informative staff, shop is alot cheaper then WB Harry Potter studios so buy there if visiting both.
P. P.
Kind of expensive... But good place to get all the Harry Potter goodies...
K. S.
Amazing place , bit small but lovely and it has everything a harry potter fan could ask for
R. R.
The costumer service here was the best I could have hoped for. Had a list a friend gave me from home (listed in priority). An employee took a net and found everything on the list with a big smile while she guided me around.
Perfect experience! Thank you!
E. A.
A really interesting atmosphere has been created there...so nice..
S. S.
The professional photographer is no good. I'd suggest using your own phone to click pictures. The shop is great, has everything a Harry Potter fan would want.
R. G.
Polite security and lots of Potter stuff, obvs. Shame had run out of gryffendor mugs but an enjoyable 5 mins all the same
J. E.
A really nicelittle shop, perfect for Harry Potter fans. (The real 9 3/4 platform from the movies is located between platform 4 and 5 at the station. 👍)
C. S.
This place is magical, literally! I was almost crying while seeing the store. Amazing!
S. A.
Affordable prices, magical place. I just thought it was bad they didn't receive cash payment
A. K.
Most magical place to visit. It's like you in the movie. So much fun in store and lots to choose from. Will always be my go to place when visiting London
A. “. l.
As huge Harry Potter fan this shop is my dream.
S. T.
People were having a great time even while waiting in line.
a. k.
Such a cool experience. Imagine having Harry Potter in real life. That's what it was like. Wingardium leviosa yourself to that shop. All the people are very friendly too!
N. H.
I really love this idea. Plateform is really located between 9th and 10th !
There is a lane so you Cannot miss it. You can take a picture here and there is a shop where you can buy Harry Potter goodies !
B. K.
Well stocked store, with every harry potter related wish. However, it is extremely expensive. I noted a wand on sale for £35 which was £10 in Tesco's. Maybe there is a difference in quality for the products sold here but it was imperceptible to me. Price has reduced the review to 3 star.
M. F.
A really great souvenir shop for the Harry Potter fans! They have cool shirts, posters and other miscellaneous items. All items are of solid quality.
T. Y.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The store is always crowded. Expensive. The queues to take photos entering the platform 9 3/4 can be huge. The most negative point was that despite the fact of many people waiting on the queue, they passed some tourists groups in front of us, and I thought it unfair and disrespectful. Then the told us that because of the huge number of people in front of us we are allowed to take just one picture.
A. F.
They had some great stuff that wasn't available elsewhere. However it was a little on the small side. Overall a great place for Harry Potter stuff!
B. W.
Cool store in the Harry Potter style and dress code be aware that it is outside to the station platforms section in the modern part of the station.
S.
Tooo crowded! The time we went they had a queue to enter the shop which was literally stuffed with people. You can pay them and take a nice picture-Harry potter style.
D. F.
Very long queue for pictures at the trolley. Although, the souvenir shop is nice, has everything but a bit pricey. A must see for Potter fans!
D. C.
Love this place. If you are a HP fan, definitely worth visiting!

A must visit place if you're a "Harry Potter" fan, but remember that you're not the only fan, so expect huge lines both to take a photo and to enter the shop.
Someone from the staff will take a professional photo of you at the cart (the half of it which is "stuck" in the wall), with the wand and the scarf, and you can buy this photo (will be pricey).

The famous platfor 9 3/4 trolley and a shop just next to it. Prepare for a line (about 45-60min) to take a pic. The stuff hekps you to stage it (flying scarf etc.) and they take a nice picture for you (£9,50 the cheapest option) but you can also take your own without paying. Some things in the shop are more expensive than in other places, so pay attention!
