Reviews of The Maughan Library
N. H.
Place was very large, ended up getting lost. Reading room was pretty tho and the selection of books available are quite extensive. Plus, can charge phone here and study in private with the study capsules

This place is one of the most beautiful university library. Ite near from Royal Court and Justice, and Law Society. As a part of Kings College library, Its very big library so please be careful and dont be lost during exploring.
There are many book collection i.e. law books, social sciences, arts, economics, and natural sciences. I have exprerienced a 24 hours spending time inside. This library has some facilities such as caffee, private room, reading room, postgrad. room, etc.

beautiful library with lots of space and resources, plus lots of places to charge your devices(even when you forget your wire)

One of the perfect places in London for studying. Can use the Internet, charge your laptop and concentrate on your work in the very quiet environment. I'll come back.

A beautiful old building with plenty of points of interest. Make sure the chapel is open before you go.

Maughan Library at Kings College-London built in 1232 and formerly the home of the Public Record Office, known as the "strong-box of the Empire.”

A vast collection. Quiet work space. Great support

My favourite library and study place on campus :)

Stunning architecture and really nice building. This is a huge library with plenty of study desks and computers and thousands of books and journals. The round room is spectacular, especially for studying. I also liked changing places every now and then, so I tried different study rooms. All are really good. Staff are really helpful and friendly. I studied there almost everyday (including the weekends) for one year, and I will miss my time there.

It is just a perfect library! It is the paradise for nerds!! It is so huge with so many books. I really enjoyed spending two hours in the lower ground floor where there are some collections of ancient greek scholars. You can find books in many languages, not only in english. There is also a very nice atmospere, the staff is really helpful. However, the library is so huge that you will waste a lot of time searching for books and you may sometimes get lost. I think that King's should create a "King's GPS" only for the library.
I would stay there forever, if I could!

A good and rare range of books for many different studies. Despite the lack of wifi and the confusing labelling of books, the maps at the entrance and the computer (to find particular books you need) both make the experience better and much easier.

Round Reading Room is a vibe

One of the most atmospheric libraries I have ever studied in. I sometimes come to London just to work here. Thank you to all the great people who take care of this beautiful place 👍

I have seen uglier University libraries. King's college did a fine job acquiring this building and open it up to young people. Shame about the high college fees in the UK. I would go and study in Germany if I were 18 now.

Visited this library at open house weekend. Stunning architecture which is part of Kings college. It used to hold the national archive some years ago which moved to Kew gardens.

Excellent library and study areas: serene green gardens and wonderful historical sense of the place, with period features in its every nooks and crannies.

A truly magnificent building. I am yet to figure out how to locate all of the numerically and alphabetically coordinated rooms.
