Visiting London on vacation and seeing the sites and museums. The museum is huge on the inside and outside. The dinosaur exhibit was my favorite, followed by the galleries. The other exhibits seemed a little outdated more than the dinosaurs (pun intended). Free entry with timed tickets. Spent almost 4 hours there, but didn't get to see everything; just went for what interested me.

Wonderful to be back. We also visited the photography exhibition which was fabulous, especially after missing it last year. Good distancing, not too crowded. The cafe is still a nightmare! Dirty tables and overpriced. No change there..! Still, a great, highly anticipated visit.

Love the Natural History Museum, a great place for old and young alike. I went to see the Wild Life Photographer of the Year exhibition and you need to pre-book. Glad I did as the rest of the museum was fairly busy so didn't get to see much else. I would recommend highly but be prepared for the long slep to the front door and to go through the crowds going to the ice rink. It's not well laid out causing jams at times and long queues getting in. However don't let that put you off and just go early.

Fantastic collection but like most 90% of their exhibits don't have the space to view. They do occasional behind the scenes tours well worth a booking when you get a chance. My last visit was crowded and approximately 40% of visitors not wearing masks. Either go very early or later in the day in the day when the crowds have deminished.

Went 8 years ago with my youngest son, went last week with grandson to see the moving dinosaurs, only T-Rex there. Nothing to captivate a 3 year old, only stayed 2 hours, he was so bored.

It's free. That's right. Took children to visit and spent 3 hours that felt like 10 minutes. So much to see and do. A marvel. Dinosaurs, the world, mammals, insects and beautiful architecture. Yes, it could with a little modernizing but guess? Did I mention? It's free!!! Amazing.

The natural history museum shop is splendid. Loads of stock. Reasonably priced for a gift shop. They sell a range from marble figures, mind stones and plenty of books on all sorts of history and animals. There is a kids section full of cuddly toys including whales and dinosaurs. Amazing shol highly recommend for people with kids or people who need to buy Christmas presents.

An elderly but noble museum of the old style. Has a huge range of displays of animals, plants and minerals from the natural world. Many of the exhibits have their own individual histories. The building itself is a very grand example of British Romanesque architecture. While some of the taxidermied animals are looking a little shabby and some of the displays look dated, compared to more modern presentations, the museum is often crowded at weekends with families taking their children on an excursion.

One of the best museums in the world and the best I have seen so far. It has rich natural history artifacts ranging from rocks, extinct animals and dinosaurs. The rocks museum has got very exhaustive samples that it will take hours to even grasp its info wholly. Dinosaurs and mammals section are another thrilling place to visit, especially the mechanical T Rex model which is a perfect one in terms of dimensions and animation. The central dome where there is whale skeleton as the star attraction gives grandeur and a must see venue for kids and adults alike who visit London.

A real benefit of social distancing is that the museum was not heaving with people. This is one of my favourite buildings in London. They don't build like this anymore. The exhibits are good but some are pretty dated. Dinosaur and Earth exhibits are fabulous.

I have travelled not very much, but the few places I have been too, I haven’t seen anything quite like the Natural History Museum yet. In addition to the many many galleries open and display including birds, mammals, minerals and dinosaur galleries, they also have several exhibitions. The last time I visited, which was on Monday 26 October 2020, it was the first day of the Wildlife Photographer of the year exhibition, it was just wow. Shop excellent and has good selection of children's items as well as adults. All connected to natural history. I prefer going there on a bad weather day, grey and rainy although it tend to be quite busy, as most people in London will be doing the same 

We had only 1 day here and believe me if you want to really absorb everything you could do with more time. It's just amazing from top to bottom. Please donate as much as you can. Entry is free as I believe it should be but they need as much as every visitor can realistically give to help.

Lovely place, I love the arhitecture. The building is so big, that you need at least one hour and a half to visit all. If you take the underground/ U-Bahn /metro the nearest station is (south) Kensington, think so.

One of my son's loves Andy's dinosaur adventures on CBeebies and this is where they film it, he was over the moon when he saw the clock and to be honest so was I 🤣. The moving T-Rex was brilliant and exploring in the gardens was fun. Due to CONVID some sections were closed off but we still had a fun day. I for one of the most important things the staff were friendly and engaging which makes all the difference, I like to say thank to them all👊🏽

quite expensive, but what museum shop isn't. The staff are friendly but very, very slow which is very frustrating if you are in a rush or just want to be served. They aren't slow because they are being friendly, just because they don't seem to have any hustle, it took a queue going out the door before anyone jumped on a spare till. The museum itself is brilliant, really excellent and the items in store are in line with the theme of the museum. Thankfully there are a few affordable bits you can buy once your kids have gone mental touching everything.

Fantastic building for a great museum with the big minus being the extreme heat inside. Made the visit shorter and unpleasant. Easily accessible by tube and bus. It's usually very busy in summer. Entrance is free but they'll pressure you to make donations. It has the usual shop (stones are cheaper than other places and shops) and eating facilities.

I've always loved this place, ever since I was about four. I always used to nag my parents to take me here. Returning as an adult, I wasn't disappointed. I'd happily revisit time and again. It's great for kids and adults and there are loads of informative and interesting exhibits. The balance is good too making it accessible to all, regardless of the extent of your knowledge prior to entering.

An amazing museum. Not only is it beautiful but its well maintained, the exhibits are flawless and the guest exhibits are spectacular. Highly reccomend the wildlife photographer of the year. Such an inspiring exhibit year after year. Free to enter the main museum but the guest exhibits charge, check the website for details. You can bring your own food, there is a picnic area for this, there is a secure cloakroom for you to use (payment required) and the shop has literally everything you could want from pocket money souvenirs to £2000 crystals. Best museum in the country by far!

Nothing wrong with the museum, great place. However, the current organisation is quite bad and the informationon the webpage is not clear. We could only find places for the 5 PM slot on Sunday, so we took it, then we arrive and find that the museum still closes at 5:50 PM, which means you have about 40 min of effective time to be in the museum (but the system still charges you a donation of £5 per person). They shouldn't offer a 5 PM slot in the first place, it is misleading and just wrong, wasted money.

Great place to visit with or without kids. Free to get in. During the summer months you can also access their garden area, where there are scheduled talks on various topics. If going during thw holiday with kids, don't forget to look out for their free talks-workshops where children cam sometimes get to touch real Dinosaur bones. There is also a large robotic T-Rex.

Great shop in the Natural History Museum in South Kensington. Lots of thing to choose from in the shop. However as any museums shops it is very overpriced. You can get the same things from eBay without the logo ofcourse much cheaper. If your kids can wait, buy it on the way home from your outing. Everyone's happy!

Due to the dinosaur exhibit, there are lots of dino related things to buy, even dino tails! But it's a great shop, supporting a free museum with a variety of souvenirs to purchase. Buy something and support the museum!
