Probably spent more time in the shop than the museum, too much interactive stuff with queues of twenty kids, not how I expect to spend time in a science museum. Got a sweet pencil though, super sweet pencil.

one of the best museums I have visited

This is a decently sized shop inside the science museum. Note that the museum is free so you don't have to pay to access the shop.
The shop has a fair bit of doodads and thingamajigs but also the odd useful things and a surprisingly large selection of books.
I've done some Christmas shopping for kids here and it has a good selection of things for that.

For one of the best museum in the world, and having a free entrance makes me feel that it is only right to either donate whatever you can, buys stuff, eat or all of these things for it is still such a lovely place regardless for they don't mind whether you don't do any of these things. they are still very glad to have you visiting. so, this is a decently sized shop inside the science museum. Went as a helper for my grandsons class. Had an excellent day. Very interesting as it formed part of a science project. The children were very well behaved and didn't want to leave that's how interesting they found it. The age group was 9-10.

The shop is excellent and has a wide range of interesting things, it's great for finding gifts that are a bit different. The only thing I don't like is they often have a staff member demonstrating little boomerang toys and if you get close they seem to take pleasure in getting them close to you. I have a problem with my eyesight and dislike this.

The science museum is a really cool place, they have changed it quite a bit since the last time I visited, and I feel it's been changed for the worse. There used to be really interesting experiments to participate in and watch, these are all but gone, and anything interactive is now on a screen!

Free museum but pushy for donations; I donated and I am glad I did BUT please fix and clean the museum. Many interactive exhibits did not work or only partially. However, we will be back and will donate again as it is still impressive and will take more than one visit if you are paying attention.

if the you enjoyed the museum the shop gives you a chance to take it home with you!! the range is fantastic and many products are open for trial. It makes great presents for any kids as it makes them tthink as well as play. watch the purse strings though as there are some expensive toys
