Great experience first time trying here. Booked an appointment not knowing what to expect but was blown away with the friendliness of Danni and expertise of Claire. While the stock list is fairly small compared to large stores, they were fantastic in recommending styles that fit my body type and we’re not pressuring at all when I still need to give it some more thought. I appreciated bringing two girlfriends (and a bottle of bubbles along) and making extra time to video call in my mom. Thanks ladies!

I had such a special experience buying my wedding dress from the Wedding Wardrobe! Claire was so lovely and really helpful - I got to try on lots of different dresses from a wide range of brands and also really nice that they have local brands. I was able to see how the dress looked with different accessories and had such an enjoyable experience - really highly recommend this wonderful shop!

This was the first shop I went too and bought the first dress I tried on! I was by myself but Claire was so supportive and put my mind at rest with homest feedback without being pushy. I have found my dream dress within budget in this store, there are quit a number of options for different shapes and sizes. Staff is very friendly and chill, I feel very relaxed and comfortable trying the dresses, no pressure to make decision straight away. There is also an in-store alteration service.

When i tried it, it turned out it was not meant to be my dress.. however Claire advised that i tried another... she said she thought would be perfect... and it was!!!! I had a lovely experience purchasing my wedding dress at the Wedding Wardrobe! I attended the shop for a consultation in December 2020, and Claire was very flexible in arranging my appointment so I could attend after a period of self-isolation. She also ensured my mom and sister could join by video call since they live abroad. There was a very wide selection of dresses to try, and Claire provided tactful and polite advice which was very helpful since she was the only other one there in person with me. When I needed to reschedule my wedding a few months later, she took it in stride. She later arranged my fitting so my mom could attend while she was visiting from the US. Lian was very friendly and helpful with fitting and made the changes to a very high standard. I am thrilled with my dress and it was exactly what I was looking for on my wedding day! I have gotten tons of compliments and I really looked and felt my best. Thanks ladies!

Came across this shop by chance on social media and decided - why not? It's in a convenient location for my bridesmaids who live in different parts of London. Having tried on a range of styles, I said yes to a dress there and then, even though it was only my first dress shopping appointment! I had bridesmaids working overseas or on holiday, and so I had to facetime them in - which, at times, can be a bit of a faff when everybody was trying to give an opinion on the dress that I had just tried on (with poor signal on my phone might I add) - but The Wedding Wardrobe was so accomodating and did not rush our conversations. Cannot recommend this store enough! :)

The ladies running the shop were so lovely, genuine and helpful and made me feel so relaxed throughout the process. The dress I bought had to be slightly altered to fit me and it was done perfectly. I received so many compliments on the dress. I had an excellent experience and I highly recommend this shop.

Loved my visit here - there is a range of gorgeous dresses in all different styles, and then downstairs is a magical changing room with lovely light and mirrors. I felt zero pressure into ordering my dress (which I've had at other stores) - I explained I still wanted to visit some other stores and to think on it, and I was reassured that there would be no problem ordering the gown in at a later date and it was explained simply the timescale for ordering and having alterations. Would definitely recommend!

I was slightly apprehensive about buying my wedding dress, with so many styles to choose from, but from the moment I arrived at The Wedding Wardrobe, Coralie made me feel welcome and at ease. She encouraged me to try dresses I might not have initially picked out, and made the whole experience really good fun. Considering I was 3 months pregnant at the time, with the wedding taking place 3 months after my baby's due date, Coralie made useful suggestions on the best type of dress to go for. I had a great experience at Wedding Wardrobe. Having liked none of the dresses I'd tried on before... I turned up and was surprised to find many different options of dresses that I really liked. Coralie and her team were all very friendly and spent a good couple of hours helping me try on lots of dresses. I tried on seven and liked at least half of them enough to considering buying. They did a great deal for me on the dress I eventually picked (as it was an off-the-shelf) and helped me choose a lovely veil to go with it (the icing on the cake!). I did have to take a couple of afternoons off work / long lunch breaks to visit for fittings (as the seamstresses work only during the week), but I was lucky enough to need few alterations, and the process was pretty seamless (no pun intended.) Great location, great service and great value!

Not once did I ever feel rushed or pressured to make decisions - although with such a beautiful, varied and unique range of dresses and accessories I found mine on my first shopping venture! I made an appointment to visit The Wedding Wardrobe after going by it on the bus near where I live. I went in on a Saturday and Coralie and her assistant were very friendly and helpful. The shop is decorated beautifully and is a lovely space to try on many dresses without restrictions and it has great lighting. I visited three times following my first visit to finalise the dress and have alterations done. Each time I attended Coralie and her staff were welcoming, friendly and lovely to be around. Coralie clearly loves her shop and has a desire to make every bride feel wonderful and stress free when choosing a dress. Gayle, who did my alterations, was very knowledgeable and assisted me greatly in deciding what alterations were needed. Their dresses are reasonably priced, about mid range I would say. Overall I was extremely happy with their service!

I got married in May and had a fantastic experience getting my dress here. At the end of Feb I didn't have a dress yet and was organising my wedding quickly (because my mum's sick). I emailed Wedding Wardrobe in a panic one Friday night because a dress I ordered online had arrived and looked awful! Coralie got back to me early the next morning and invited me to the store an hour before her first appointment, and helped me find the perfect dress. She's got a huge range of dresses, and if you're prepared to buy off the hanger you can get good value for money. Coralie doesn't try and sell you the most expensive (as lots of other stores I went to later in the day did) but she said to me at the start - very gently - "now I'm going to be honest with you, if it doesn't suit you, I'll tell you and we'll move on to the next dress, is that okay?" - which was exactly what I wanted and needed. I was trying them on without any family or bridesmaids to hand. No sense in selling me a dress that looks amazing on the hanger/model, but in all honesty doesn't suit me. Coralie and her team offered a considerate, personal touch, which I found to be severely lacking in the other shops I went to all over town for the rest of the day. Minimal adjustments were made to the dress with no fuss, and it was a pleasure to shop there. Coralie and Gail - thank you so much. You turned a stressful time into a real pleasure. Highly recommended.

Great stock of dresses and lovely staff. The seamstresses are not available on weekends for fittings, which can make it a bit difficult if you work full time outside of central London like I do, however Gail the seamstress I had was very skilled and an absolute pleasure to work with.

Wedding wardrobe was the first wedding dress shop I'd looked in and i had no idea what i wanted when I tipped up to the appoinment. Coralie asked me to try 5 dressed of different style, colour and length. Whilst many styles didnt suit me this meant I quickly worked out what did, and what type of dress I wanted. Coralie is very honest in her feedback but for me I appreciated a real conversation instead of other shops who insisted I looked great when I didnt. 4 other shops later I was back and found the perfect dress. Everything has been thoroughly explained through the buying and then fitting with Gayle. I had my final fitting today and really appreciate the alterations to my dress and extra thoughts like a bra loop to ensure my bra wont ride up during the day. Overall its a lovely little shop, with personal service, that I'd recommmend to friends.
