I was skeptical when I first got there. The place is smaller than you'd expect but the welcoming is bigger! From dogs and humans! The guys were amazing hosts and the dogs such sociable and very well behaved. The cat didn't show up for a long while (it's a cat in the end) but when he did he very liked being pet and didn't get annoyed. I ordered a lychee martini which was delicious and they treated us almost as friends/family. Absolutely recommended.

Andre is absolutely the best groomer I have come across and I have tried many. My Persian chinchilla boys look like they could go on a competition:))he cares about their well being and uses techniques that would not stress them out too much. I would highly recommend!

The furry babies are so, so cute and very well looked after, it’s more than clear that they’re in good hands. I went with my friends on a quiet Sunday evening to spend some time with the dogs, and the atmosphere was lovely. Andre made steak for dinner and shared it with us - such a lovely gesture and I’d more than happily come back any time.

The only lounge I know where dogs welcome you happily. The place had a great wine list, some champagne, different kinds of tea and coffee. It's elegant and quirky. Perfect for a quick outing for a drink and to pet a dog or two. In the back there is a shop where you can buy... a leash or shampoo for your dog.

I love Verve boutique and bar in Notting Hill. It has been a bless to discover this place not only because Verve is a fantastic bar to relax and socialise with other pet lovers and their pets, but also Andre is the best groomer I have found in London for my adorable fluffy cat, Perseus and for my friends' dogs. He gives much love and care to Perseus and dedicates him time to achieve grooming to perfection. Perseus is very happy on his hands, never showing any signs of distress. The 3 very friendly in house dogs know Perseus, and would never bark at him, so Perseus feels at ease around them and looks very calm as he likes to watch them. There is also a beautiful and very sociable Persian cat that has been well accustomed to socialising with dogs and other pet owners. I love going to the bar with my friends and their dogs as well as my cat together, especially as other places in London are so primitive in their minds to just be "dog friendly", and to alienate and exclude in this way cat owners from dog owners. Not only Verve is a grooming place and a bar but also a fantastic petshop where you can find a vast variety of spectacular collars and harnesses made from the best materials. There is even tasteful bracelets and other accessories for men and women that Andre creates, even bespoke! Thank you Andre for this place that is a novelty in our city, as it welcomes not only dog owners but also owners with their cats together. Truly a unique place. :-)
