My boy Bentley had his first holiday here last week. My mum has used the kennels for years so recommended them. I was so worried about leaving him but he was absolutely fine. I received video updates of him which put my mind at rest knowing he was safe and well. I’d also booked him in for a bath on his last day so he was nice and fresh when he came home. I would definitely recommend them and will be my first choice for boarding now in future. Thanks for taking care of him.

My two cats stayed here for a week, while I went on holiday. They were well looked after and seemed too comfy to want to come home! I also received a couple of videos of them too, which I thought was a great touch. Such friendly people working there, you can tell they care about the animals as if they’re their own. Thank you.

We have been leaving our cats (and dog before that) for nearly 30 years on a regular basis and honestly will not take them anywhere else. Pat, John and family do a brilliant job making sure that the cat pens are clean and the cats have regular meals and attention. The pens are roomy and airy and quiet with views of the countryside.

Highly recommended. My dog is very nervous but seemed really happy here and was well looked after. I was updated with a message and video a few days into our holiday so that I could see that he was okay and settling in well. Would definitely recommend and will be using again. We managed to get our Bulldog Marshall in here while we went to Turkey for 2 weeks. We were really worried about leaving him but he absolutely loved it and Anthony kept us updated daily and also sent us photos of Marshall if we asked. We will 100% be leaving him here again whenever we go on Holiday. He didn't actually want to leave when i picked him up....

Been sendin my english bulldog and french bulldog to john at common lane for years excellent service. Went above and beyond when my bulldog became ill before our holiday and took him in as his own sorted all vet trips bills etc out until i returned. will only send my dogs here as i know they are cared for 100%. I’ve been taking my Skye a 10 yr old patterdale here for a few years now and always receive good service. This is a family run business and Tom, Pat and their son John are always very pleasant and easy to talk to. It’s only in the last year we’ve started using their pick up and drop of service as Skye can be awkward in the car and it caused me both but stress . So this service takes away the stress from me prior to going away.

The only place I will trust to look after my babies! I’ve been using Common Fold for over 10 years now. They helped me out with ‘doggy daycare’ for my reactive dog and nor provide all the holiday care for our family of 5 dogs. John, Mandy, Tom and Pat love animals, their kindness and compassion for your pets shines through. They treat all of mine like they are their own with extra cuddles and regular updates whilst I’m away. Thank you guys!

After being let down by another Kennel company , Common Folds was more than happy to board our Springer Spaniel Max for a week with very little notice. From the moment of meeting John and viewing the kennels, I knew Max would be happy and be in safe hands! John also went out of his way to keep us updated with pictures and videos of how Max was doing throughout the week. If and when we do go away without Max in the future, I will be 100% using Common Folds again. Thank you for looking after Max :)

Lovely cattery and great, relaxed service which is what I really needed using kennels for the first time. We even had to change dates last minute and they were extremely accommodating. Cats came back happy and healthy, and haven’t been withdrawn or sulky like I was expecting. Will use again and recommend to anyone looking for a decent kennels

This is the sixth time I've boarded my Rhodesian Ridgebacks at Common Fold Kennels and I can say with absolute certainty that I would not leave them anywhere else. After a week away I collected them and again both have come home happy and healthy. Our dogs are an important part of our family and I leave them at Common Fold in the knowledge that they will be well looked after and in good hands. One of my dogs is particularly sensitive and neurotic, yet when I collect him he's always full of life and shows no sign of distress, which to me is a clear sign that he has settled into his surroundings and has been well cared for. The staff are always friendly, helpful and most importantly show a genuine interest in the wellbeing of your pet.

Have Always use this cattery for my cats friendly staff, good accommodation and ensure the cats are up to date with immunisation too so you know your pet is not at risk.

I have hunted around for kennels for my dog who is very nervous I came across this dog kennels on the net and thought I try it spoke to the owners explained what my dog was like , during my holiday I emailed to ask how she was doing and got a nice picture of her running around enclosed paddock looking very happy ,I returned from my trip to find my dog was so calm and looked in great condition , I will be returning in the near future many thanks to the staff for looking after Kisha 👍
