The fish you get from K&C are always top quality and in perfect health and condition. The fish I ordered arrived in perfect condition and were active in the bags. They were well packaged with 2 heat packs and a foil cover. The fish are not the usual fish you see in your local fish store. These are special.

Visited these guys after booking an appointment to view the stock. Wow, what a set up! The fish are in prime condition and there is clearly a lot of time, effort and money that's gone in to the business they have created! The knowledge of the fish was extremely helpful as well, they answered all of our questions and we extremely patient with us! If I could post more than 5 stars, I would! Chris and Kevin are so helpful and really know their stuff. Their cichlids are healthy, have great colour and turned up double-bagged, alive and well. Even before I made my purchase, Chris gave lots of advice on which mbunas to go for. He was very patient and knowledgeable :) I highly recommend K&C Rift Valley Cichlids to both inexperienced and experienced cichlid keepers - you will be delighted with their 5-star service and support.

Been to many people advertising that they sell cichlids. Unlit tanks, dirty tanks and people thinking they know it all. K&C were completely the opposite, clean tanks and well lit tanks so you could see the fish you were buying . Very polite and happy to answer any questions . Fantastic Chris and Kev are both very knowledgable about Cichlids, Although I’ve kept fish before I’ve never had anything to do with cichlids, my advice to anyone is if you want to know something about Cichlids ask away they’ll be happy to help, or if you know exactly what you want you can be assured it will be of the highest quality. The fish I bought are in great condition and look stunning and at very reasonable prices. My tank now looks stunning with lots of movement and activity. You need to make an appointment to visit or purchase fish that’s because each customer receives one to one personal friendly service. They won’t try and sell you expensive gear you don’t need either, they are simply specialists in quality cichlids and have a vast knowledge of everything in the Cichlid world. If keep or want to keep cichlids this is the go to place I can’t recommend them enough. Thanks very much for all you help fellas.

I made arrangements to make a visit to K&C after chatting with them on one of the forums. Whilst I've been keeping fish for 43 years I have only been keeping Rift Valley Cichlids for a few years and had realised I had so much to learn, especially considering the vast number of species involved. Both K&C spent a lot of time discussing keeping Rift Valley Cichlids with me and providing some excellent advice. Their views very much aligned with my own in that "it is all about the fish" and theyre welfare. They clearly want to help provide the best knowledge and support to enable hobbyists keep their fish to the highest standard. Their fish room was well stocked and it was clear that the quality of fish was second to none and that they were being kept to the highest standard. Clean tanks, pristine water and great looking fish. I bought a small number of Yeloow Labs on my visit to build up on the stock I already had, these are now well established in my tank. I discussed stocking ideas for when I get my 8' x 2' x 2', I will be back to stock the tank once I get it. Two great guys with great knowledge and great quality fish. Thank you.
