Quick communication by email from LCE Manchester when purchasing a used Fujifilm mcex-11 macro ring. Photos and a report on the condition of the item were received by return; item was purchased then delivered by DPD Local the day after despatch. The staff at Manchester, go beyond fist class service. Ordered a Canon 1D MkIII through the London Strand shop, and it arrived in mint condition. I am a novice photographer who is just getting into to it so I bought a Ex-display camera Sony A6000 which I love. But had a slightly dark mark appeering on the imagine taken. So I went into the Manchester store 21/06/21 for help on the best way to clean the lens. To my surpise it was on the sensor not the lens but the staff were very helpful and said they will do it for me for free for me. So I bought some lens cleaning product the staff were very friendly and knowlegable giving honest advice which I appriciated not forcing you to buy something you do not need. I only knew Jessops which the Manchester site closed down so found these guys. I highly recommend these guys I be shopping here again nice to shop where the staff actually know thier stuff. 👍👍

Always friendly, helpful advice. I've bought a couple of lenses from LCE over the last year... following excellent and convincing advice from the sales consultants. An extra plus: although the shop is small, the staff make a real effort to keep the window display full of interesting items... and to change the display very frequently; as a result, there's always someone looking in, catching up on the latest secondhand bargains. It says a lot about the commitment and eye for detail of the staff.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I purchased the Canon 70-300mm II lens in February 2017 there. Bought a skylight filter for it on Amazon, and the lens just would not focus properly with it on. Contacted the store manager to discuss the issue and he sent me a Canon clear filter in the post to try out. This worked very well, and on giving him the feedback, he said I could keep the filter free of charge. Then last month the AF servo motor failed on the lens. Having had the lens for 21 months, was worried as it was out of the 12 month warranty. However, store manager reassured me that Canon would repair it free of charge. Excellent customer service !

never had a problem with this shop staff are very very knowledgable on all aspects and the service is first class as always. can not recommend this shop highly enough, and will always look on LCE website before buying anything photographic as the prices are very fair and comparable with other photo shops. even when trading stuff in to upgrade my gear i always get a fair price considering that they have to sell it on with a warranty to the next buyer. 5 star rating not enough in my opinion. thanks to all at this branch.

The guys here are well informed and friendly, eager to answer any questions and let you play with the gear before buying. Sure, you're going to pay a little more for second hand gear than eBay/Gumtree but for a warranty and good, pressure-free customer service I'd say it's worth it.

Really excellent camera shop. Know their stuff, sell at decent and discount prices for new gear, do really decent prices on buying second hand gear from you, and are willing to spend time explaining technicalities. Only thing I'd say, as a shop they could be a bit more welcoming and friendly on coming in, to encourage more beginners and novices from going to Jessops.

Went to the shop for advice for a camera for my daughter's photography course, spoke with Dave, he gave me outstanding advice and recommended the type of camera she would need.
