My sister knew about this shop and wanted to head there on our trip. Lovely polite welcoming and friendly staff. This shop is a colourful random treasure trove of wonders. Our favourite areas were probably the books, cards and tree ornaments. Special and rare items in the shop make for great gifts.

When I went there everything was familiar with the Romeo + Juliet (1997) movie, Frida Kahlo, Day of the Dead and I dare to say... the typical Sicilian style of Dolce & Gabbana! A pretty aesthetic, extravagant place full of colour!

This is one of the quirkiest wee shops I've ever had the pleasure of being in, random religious iconography, next to sweet tacos, a mug that swears at me and the biggest plate I've ever seen. Oh and they have a life size penguin out front, they win for that alone

Absolutely love this place! It's really nice to go in, have a wander through the quirky little shop and then stop in the cafe for a milkshake. The milkshakes are really nice and the whole atmosphere is generally wonderful. It's really cosy, and usually a little dark feeling very comfortable. The mish mash of furniture and decor gives it a certain level of charm and it's somewhere to come back to time and time again.

There's so much delightful kitsch in this store, you'd be woefully remiss to not at least check it out. You've got everything from music boxes to fart whistles, so whether you're buying a souvenir for back home or you just want something a little off-beat for your place, it's totally worth checking out.

Me and my friends have spent many an afternoon whiling away the hours in Oklahoma over the years. What more can you want - tasty smoothies, simple snacks, and loads of leaflets and flyers to browse. When you've finished your refreshments, then there is a whole gift shop with lots of treats - some cool, some cute, and some downright silly! Great for quick snack and a fun present.

One of my favorite cafe's in Manchester. They serve the best tea in Manchester called a London Fog, earl grey tea, with steamed milk and vanilla syrup. If your ever passing why not pop in and give it a try. Also one of the best gift shops ever. If you are stuck for a gift idea this is the place to go.

Love it! Filled with unique funky gifts for youraelf and others. I can spend a gold 30-40 minutes in here reminiscing aboit childhood toys trying to control my purchasing. There are also some super cheeky items in here you wouldn't find on thr high street. If your in Manchester its a must. Its literally just outaide the back of the arndale centre food court end.

If you're looking for quirky one off cards, jewellery and accessorise then you will love Oklahoma. It's great for finding little one off gifts. Sometimes the card selection can be a bit disappointing which is the main reason why I go in there. They have a cool cafe which is part of the shop, so if you're new to visiting Manchester it's a cool little spot to check out.

Love a lot of what is in Oklahoma. The lampshades especially are beautiful. It is expensive, but I'd argue no more so than any of the shops on Deansgate or similar novelty shops in NQ itself. If you're inclined to spend in that price bracket anyway at least you get a lampshade that's a little different here.

Oklahoma is a quirky little place, located in the Northern Quarter only a few metres from the Arndale, but is a different world entirely. It's split into two halves, one side a cafe (haven't tried that bit) and the other a shop selling all kinds of knick-knacks. If you walk around the shop you'll see toys you remember from your childhood, unusual gifts and hand-made items, and after a few minutes you'll probably feel the urge to buy everything. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you're looking for a gift, and it's hard to leave the place without a smile on your face.

Oklahoma recently had a refurbishment and the new layout makes for a positive change. The funky cafe has opened up with more seating areas and feels lighter/brighter, yet still retains its original comfy cosy feel. The store side is still as quirky as ever!! I love the random knick-knacks, the retro games/candies, cool wrapping paper and the bohemian decorations. Some items can be a bit pricey but only because you will struggle to find them elsewhere. Nonetheless, a good source to get unique presents for loved ones!
