I thoroughly enjoyed my pointe shoes fitting experience at Pose A Pointe. Being a professional dancer herself, my fitter demonstrated extremely insightful knowledge of dancing and of the needs of in-training and of professional Ballet dancers as well as of the wide assortment of pointe shoes varieties. Most importantly she was able to confidently suggest the specific type of shoes that would best fit the physiognomy of my feet (length of toes and of feet, amount of arch, feet instep, etc). The shop installations were impeccable as well, they included a full set of mirrors, a bar and dancing space sufficient to adequately test feel and support of the shoes on site as well as a couch for visitors. Additionally, Pose A Pointe have a wide variety of pointes that would also fit different budgets, training and dancing needs. (I think I mainly tries 2, but their assortment was extensive). Overall I was very pleased. I hereby attach a picture I took wearing the shoes again later on the same day of my fitting at the John Rylands Library in Manchester in order to showcase the success of my fitting along the beautiful scenery. I hope all the above inspires you to choose Pose A Pointes for your next fitting!

Liv at Pose.A Pointes came highly recommended by my dance teacher when it came to getting my very first pair of pointe shoes (as an adult, I may add) a year ago & it is clear why. Her knowledge of the foot & how the shoe fits to the foot was outstanding. It was so interesting to learn about the different shoes I tried on & why they were or were not right for my foot. I also joined in a workshop with Liv through my dance school which was very enjoyable & I’ve continued use the exercises I learnt as much as possible to improve my practice. I’ve just been back for a fitting for a second pair of pointe shoes & the experience was brilliant. Liv is friendly, professional & a fountain of knowledge. I would highly recommend Pose.A Pointes.

We have just had a remote Pointe Shoe fitting due to current lockdown restrictions and could not be happier. The service, as it is at a face to face appointment, was absolutely brilliant. Everything was Covid safe and Liv was incredibly thorough with both her initial Zoom consultation and the actual fitting, again done via Zoom. There was a good selection of shoes to try to make sure we found the correct shoe and fit, and the support, advice and attention given remotely by Liv was just amazing. Highly recommend.

This quaint dance shop is ideally situated for many local dance schools within Urmston and Flixton. The owners are more than knowledgeable about the uniform required at the dance school my daughter attends and they have a wide range of dance wear available to buy. They are more than accommodating and happy to order in any items which aren't available. Olivia is very friendly and welcoming and we will certainly continue to use this shop for dance wear purchases as our daughter grows.

I have two leotards from there (one dance and one gym) and they are both really pretty, reasonably priced and fit me really well. I also got my first pointe shoes from there. The staff are friendly and very helpful. My pointe shoes are perfect for my feet so they did a very good job. I love this place and will be going back the next chance I get to get a new Dance leotard.
