Viper and Vine have helped us so much with our ball pythons. We prefer to use smaller and independent businesses and they have been extremely helpful at advising with possible problems and recommending the best supplies. Everyone is always happy to help :)

small shop and doesn't look like the pictures seems that maybe has been a change of management? the staff member who was in when we were there was a lovely lady full of knowledge and answered all our questions. only thing i would change is go back to habistats as they look cleaner than the white vivs.

This was our first time at this pet shop and we had a wonderful experience. The lady who helped us was very knowledgeable, kind and caring who had loads of time for us. We were knew to the world of reptiles and chose a leopard gecko. She gave us loads of advice and offered after care support too which was fantastic. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back

Spent nearly an hour in here browsing and chatting to staff. Very knowledgeable and take care when doing a set up for a customer. Good selection of animals. After seeing the care they gave, I will probably be going back here to purchase my corn snakes and Viv. They even let my son's girlfriend handle the tortoises. Friendly staff and felt so relaxed in the shop, didn't feel like we were being watched or as if we had to purchase something.

Would highly recommend, the lady who helped me and my partner pick out an Albino African land snail. She was very knowledgeable, chatty and explained so much, will definitley be back for little it's and bits and maybe a spider if my missus will let me.

I had read old reviews before going in here and they were all quite bad. Walking in I didn't know what to expect but fancied a nosey. It was nothing like the reviews. Clean, tidy and a good selection of animals. After speaking to a very nice man there called John, he said he recently took over and it was in a very bad state. After some determination and hard work johns got the shop looking great again. Would definitely recommend !

I must admit, I am a very wary internet shopper and when I read some of the bad reviews on here my heart sank and I went into panic mode. I did give them a bit of a hard time to be fair. This morning, part of my order was delivered. I am still awaiting a few animals but the reasons for why they were not brought today are more than satisfactory, I mean, the animals health comes first at the end of the day. I am not going to go into details but let's just say that what I did receive this morning was not 100% what I ordered but something far superior to 'make up for a few things' and I am very pleased to say the least. I will definitely use them again in the future now that my initial fear has been alleviated and I wont be giving them such a hard time next time round. Overall, my experience has been a very good one so far and I urge people to consider the fact that bad reviews may not always be what they seem. I mean, a disgruntled person can write a very damning review that bares little resemblance to fact. I speak only for myself though when I say these guys have earned their five star rating in my case.

Went this morning for a pet (lizard) for our son 7. We were advised on the best pet for him and talked through everything with us so we were definate. The best choice by far a little sweet natured geko and our son couldn't be more happy with him.

Great pet shop for reptiles, birds, and small mammals with a building spider and scorpion collection, I was a bit apprehensive having seen many poor reviews, however upon arrival was very confused as the place seemed very clean and we'll run...after speaking to John (who worked there we found out they had recently acquired the shop and we're trying to rid themselves of its poor reputation...which they will easily achieve if they maintain the standard I saw, and the prices were incredibly low compared to other shops I've been to (the Degus were particularly cheap)
