Friendliest staff going! Even when myself and my partner messed up on our maths, the store manager offered to sort it very kindly, but it was our error! Brilliantly trained staff and really made the whole experience worthwhile! The only reason I'll ever set foot in Milton Keynes is because of the top quality customer experience from the guys here! Give them all a raise 😉

Went there for my son's birthday in February to get his Batman Bear he saw there. Not even going to complain about the noise and how busy it was, it is Build A Bear, you need to expect that even before entering the shop. The staff there were so lovely and helpful from the moment we went in. The lady at the till who served us took time with us, chatted to us, wished our son a "Happy Birthday" Good layout in store and lots of variety of bears/clothing/accessories to purchase.

The bears were of considerably good quality and I made one with the intention of putting the voice of jimmy saville in it. The workers were reluctant at first but supplied me with my needs.

Had a fab time building our son's birthday bear. If you sign up to their website and add birthdays you only pay how old they're going to be in their birthday month. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The store was clean and tidy. We had no problem finding the extra clothes for Bobby the bear.

I took my two granddaughters yesterday. They really enjoyed it. Staff are very friendly and nice to kids. Before they offer extras to my granddaughters they asked me to add with prices. It was a good experience and a great day for both of them.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Went in to get my daughter a bear for her first birthday and was happily surprised to learn that on their birthday, a bears cost is the child's age! Great touch. I thought it was just a myth you see on the internet but it's true. Served by a lovely lady who helped us alot.

I love this place and have bought over 30 bears for all my kids, grandkids, family kids and friends kids. My youngest Son still has a lot and so do I, but my youngest only have a few favourite's. My eldest has a lot and my grandkids have their favourite ones only now.

It's fun to do, but it's really expensive. It was pretty chaotic. A house box costs £50,- but the guy asked it like we could choose between box and bag but you had to pay for the box. The people were kind and the stuffed animals are nice.

Amazing customer service by Tom, my little sister has lost her bunny bear and he was so kind, made her day, resolved the issue and made a young girl very happy. When expressing how thankful I was to other staff members, they all spoke to highly about Tom, lovely man, so many could learn from him :)

Ignoring the fact this place is ridiculously overpriced, it’s a great shop for children and big kids alike. You can choose your bear. (unicorn, Pokémon, dog etc etc), get it stuffed before your eyes and personalise with sounds and smells. That not all though, after your stuffed friend is made, it can be adorned with a multitude of clothing and accessories before you choose a name for your creation and print it’s very own naming certificate. For this shop, the staff were friendly and service good. Because it was our sons Birthday month, we got to purchase a (pre-stuffed) fury birthday bear for just £1 (his age) before spending a lot more on accessories. I’m sure we’ll be back however next year to get another Birthday bear for £2.

Visited yesterday and travelled a instance to go there specifically so that my daughter could spend the voucher she had got for her birthday back in June. This being our first trip out to a public place apart from food shopping since the start of lockdown, my daughter was very excited, and indeed had a great time choosing everything. Never been to a build a bear before. Staff were all so nice. Most contact initially with Melanie (i think that was her name) who was super helpful and really lovely. Then unfortunately the gift card (bought online) only had half the amount on it that there should have been. Needless to say my daughter was very disappointed. Anyway, after some investigation, Zak stepped in who was so very wonderful. We left the shop extremely happy and I am so touched by his kindness. So much more than ever expected. Brought tears to my eyes! Cannot thank him enough.

My nieces conned me into taking them here with the excuse that they “couldn’t walk… unless it’s to build-a-bear”. I was hesitant as I knew how expensive it could be, but I was pleasantly surprised to see they had a deal on — buy one and get the other for £8. Considering they’re twins, this was very convenient. When they’d finally chosen their teddies, a man (an employee, obviously) asked if they wanted voices put in. £5 for an Eevee voice! She said she wanted it, so who am I to say no when he’d already started without asking me? Anyway, the whole team of staff were incredibly kind and caring; either they’re all programmed to act like the happiest people on the planet or they really love their job. Either way, you can’t say no to them. I left with two teddies, voices for both, and 2 £10 vouchers for my nieces to spend on accessories.

They layout of the shop is horrendous, there's no way of keeping social distanced, you have to keep crossing paths with every customer to get to the next point!. You literally have a circular layout and not taking full advantage of it in the current circumstances. The staff however were all very nice and polite .

I took my daughter to get a bear for a treat. We had lovely visit to this store. The store was spotless and the staff could not have been more helpful. Sorry I didn't get any names but to all this working on 20th June a huge thank you. I have a build a bear nearer me but will always drive the extra distance to visit a store to be looked after the way that we were. Highly recommended this store.

Visited after Christmas thinking would be quieter! No, but staff very friendly. In particular would like to give shout out to Lorraine (think) and Hudson who gave my daughter (who has special needs) such a great experience. Build a Bear Milton Keynes wow you are awesome. Huge shout out to Zac and his Elsa singing friend. My 7 year old has waited since may to spend her birthday voucher. She has been asking for build a Bear for a year since she saw a advert for it lockdown spoiled her surprise so a voucher had to suffice. Your amazing teal MK made the trip so special for her. Thank you for giving us a magical and warm time. We will be back. Thank you build a Bear MK. YOU ROCK!

On an ordinary day, it's probably fine to come here with no major issues. On a Saturday, absolute chaos. Birthday parties mixed with customers. And when it comes to dealing with birthday parties, highly flawed payment system in place, as each child of the party needs to be paid for separately with the children present (just imagine the delays here). Yes, the stuffed toys are priced differently depending on what it is, but there has to be a better way of dealing with this and help the staff speed things up.

From the moment you set foot inside the store the whole team make you feel really welcome. Everything is laid out nicely so you can see all of the "bears" (they're not all bears, there's lots to choose from) fully stuffed meaning that the kids (or big kids) can get a good idea of what they are choosing. My son had a fantastic experience and the staff really made it special for him, he got to choose his bear, then his sound, then his smell, and finally he got to operate the stuffing machine to stuff his bear. I really can't congratulate the staff enough on their friendliness and happiness to help throughout the whole process. The bears themselves are quite reasonably priced, but all of the extras can certainly add up so just beware of what your choosing. The bases price includes just the bear itself and then the additional cost comes from the sound, smell, costumes and accessories and the bag to carry him/her home in. None of theses extras are essential but they do enhance the bears and are a good addition for the kids. I'd thoroughly recommend this store and came confirm that these bears are great quality and long lasting as all 3 of my boys now have at least one each (the oldest bear being 8 years) and they are all still going strong.

Great fun for the kids. Loads of different varieties of bears/animals. There is something for everyone here. They have something to suit every budget. I do find that the accessories that you can buy are really expensive so we just got the bear. Its great that you can stuff your stuff your self, but a sound into your bear, put a love heart in your bear after you have made a wish and kissed it. You can even print off a free certificate for your bear. Love the boxes that the bears come in and we had great fun colouring in the box too, so lots of on going fun to be had. I would of given it 5 stars if the accessories eg the clothes, shoes etc for the bears were a little cheaper. £10 for one little coat for a bear is something I'm not willing to pay but overall kids had a fun time in there

This shop was refurbished in 2018 so is nice and modern. Staff always helpful and the kids of course love the process of choosing a bear and then getting it made. Downside is it is very expensive, especially if you start to then buy add on accessories and clothes. So be warned.

My daughter chose to have her 6th Birthday party here. It was great! They had a fabulous time. We were so well looked after and the children were laughing and smiling the whole time. Great games. As a parent I didn't have to worry about anything and the member of staff Andy made it easy for the girls to choose items that were in the budget without any issues at all. Great time had by all. Thank you Andy and Beremy Bear for a wonderful party! Matilda Age 6 and her happy mummy!

Came here to build a Bear for my daughter's birthday with their pay your age deal. Was excellent although the upselling of accessories and clothes was a minefield. Excellent value as my daughter is only 4. Not sure I'll be bringing my 65 year old mum on her birthday though, might work out a bit expensive using their deal....

I personally think this Build-A-Bear Workshop is brilliant. The staff are absolutely mental and the children love them. They all interact with every child that comes in to their store and take the time to help you with your purchase. The whole process is explained to you from start to finish. The only thing to bare in mind with Build-A-Bear as a whole is that it can be very expensive if you start buying lots of clothes and bits for the cuddly toy your buying. You can get so many add ons; heartbeats, flavoured smelly inserts to go in the bear, voiceboxes and that's without all the clothing, outfits, accessories etc. Nice layout, well presented shop but the one thing that makes this place special is the staff. Outstanding customer service and interaction. They are also great on the upsell, as a Sales Manager this is something that impresses me greatly when done well. A real 5 star team. Keep up the good work.

My girls love this place they've got about 6 bears and characters each plus a range of different outfits and shoes. They love the whole experience of creating their bear, naming it and getting it's birth certificate and finally picking an outfit and shoes and dressing it.

After being refurbished, this build a bear workshop is now amazing, wide selection of bears, lots of clothes and great deals plus the staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Will definitely be going back again for more bears.

Great thing to do but it took 1 hour to do 1 bear. Queues were long for stuffing the bears and it took a long while to pay. It was the weekend after new year so not the stores fault it was busy.
