I think Newcastle deserves more places selling art equipment really. Details has great stuff, but it feels a little cold and empty if I'm honest. The staff are helpful and friendly though and I always come away with a bag full of stuff!

Always a great shop for art materials. Very knowledgeable staff. Part of the Newcastle Arts Centre complex, which includes a craft shop, framing shop, art gallery and they even run art courses.
