Great experience. Wanted to purchase magic the gathering cards to play with friends so came to the store to checkout products, I didn't know what to look for but a staff member called Erin helped me find what I was looking for and they ended up making me a really delicious coffee too. Overall a great experience and I'll be back to try one of the events I was told about for magic too!

I'm a regular customer who has felt incredibly welcomed by all the new atmosphere staff since Covid. I am most excited when I order my usual cheeseburger and see that Craig is making it. Everyone does it good but that man makes a mean burger combo

I absolutely love this place. The food is good l, that martian manhunter milkshake is an absolute must buy for fans of Oreos and mint choc ice cream. Staff are friendly and they have great prices. I'll definitely be coming back again. More than a few times I think. A lot more

A great atmosphere! Without a doubt the BEST Geek Retreat experience I have ever had all THANKS to Ryan, a staff member at the store. Thank you for managing the Yu-Gi-Oh! Events! :)

Getting served by Ryan on YuGiOh Thursday always makes my day better. Such lovely customer service and makes the overall experience of geek retreat so much better. Such an asset to the team :)

A amazing place, with super meals, desserts and drinks. Everytime I have been to this place, the food has been more than satisfactory, great portions and good deals.
The names of food/drinks to buy are alot of the time the same as superheroes/villains, for instance they have a coffe called "The Punisher" its name is not a joke 3 shots of coffee with optional milk it's a amazing.
The desserts, or as they would call then "sweet treats" are delicious and very well portioned, the mighty ice is great I will always get one the only problems I have with it is that they have M&Ms in there and they get frozen from the ice cream which make the ice cream harder to eat, but now I just ask for one with out then so it's way better.
And finally the milk shakes... I love the "chocolate thunder" a very chocolatey, very sweet and very nice tribute to the very unfortunately named superhero.

Great chilled atmosphere on Thursdays for weekly Yu-Gi-Oh! Events. Stores TO Ryan makes it an enjoyable experience and helps keep things running smoothly. Heavily recommended for anything Yu-Gi-Oh! based.

Went in with my partner and our 4 kids. Em was fantastic at taking awkward food orders and ensuring everyone was happy. Will definitely be back next time we're up north!

We booked a table for six too play Magic, was pretty disappointing that we were given a small table in front of the entrance, so when ever someone walked in you got a nice chilling gust of wind. Luckily at the back a big group were leaving so we quickly snatched up the table which was better suited for six people. We all ordered food at the same time and it all arrived together thumbs up for the staff, but the food wasn't great at all. Chips were soggy and hadn't been cooked long enough, hotdog bun tasted stale and others had there complaints too. There wasn't anything with much substance and I can't recall seeing anything for vegans or vegetarians. The food menu desperately needs more variety and healthier options, just feels way behind selling cheap suger than moving forward. The staff were excellent and friendly to talk too and I the atmosphere was okay.

Often feel a bit overwhelmed with a lot of hobby shops, but staff were friendly and knowledgeable, shout out to Erin who talked me through the D&D 5E starter kit.

Great staff, very welcoming - would recommend. The food was average-to-bad so I'd recommend eating beforehand. The reason I give 3 instead of 4 stars is: ordering a hotdog; waiting however long; and being served a bare sausage in a bun - where's the sauce!? Who ever ate a dawg without sauce!?

Em was great, very accommodating and friendly. We visited on the way home from Northumberland. Will definitely visit again.

Cannot fault this place my 10yr old was absolutely accepted and welcomed here. The staff were brilliant and people were so helpful and explained their games to my son and treated him as an equal rather than an annoying brat. The shop is well stocked clean and I wish it was closer to my home as we would visit more often.

Been coming to the store for years and have to say, the last year has just been improvement after improvement. New staff, new floor and new stock just shows how my work went into this place over lockdown, and the improvement is astounding. Bottom line is, amazing place just to hang out with your friends, or even make new ones.

Great atmosphere to play cards and games. Would not recommend The Punisher from the coffee menu it is aptly named!

Lovely staff, know there job really well and give best service they can, very calm and general quiet environment, not judgemental and chilling place to go for card games with friends/family or even on your own to relax with a nice serving of food and drinks served at the till with menus on the boards or on the tables, can have good tournaments on weekends especially, come here often with my boyfriend

Waited more than half a hour for food only ordered a hot dog and a jacket potato. Didn't receive drinks until 15mins before we got the food. Very busy when we visited not a lot of space to move about or a lot to do. They have pokemon cards to buy and some games in the back but not a lot for kids or adults to do while waiting. Not real music on or anything to watch or listen to making the time longer and a bit more boring.
