Great place to do shopping. I got an excellent deal during black friday sale. It's a very spacious shopping store with variety of options. I personally feel it's better if you buy kitchen appliances and utensils from here. Prices are same compared to WILKO but the quality is much better.

The shop was huge, great variety of items, some real bargains to be had. Not enough staff on tills serving. The Cafe upstairs was not great, the food was cold, n didnt have a lot of food ready to serve customers. Maybe they were short staffed the day we went, We'll try again next time were there, as everyone deserves a 2nd chance x

Not somewhere that I would usually shop but I was very impressed with the choice of goods and didn't realize how big the store is. Even stopped off at the café for a bite to eat. Well worth having a browse.

Where do a start this place used to take pride in its shop it's like a tip don't get is wrong u can get some decent goods they get all most brands then sell them in there store at a fraction of the cost in named department stores from clothing suitcases shoes TV curtains duvets pans cups homeware really bargain prices..but the state of the shop escalators don't work the lights blinking constantly feels like ur in a disco only the till in fragrance department is on so u have to hall everything around what a pain staff our friendly once u find one .. would a shop here again probably yes because the prices reflect what you would pay...

The only thing I don't like is, why I didn't come here before. They have all essentials. I bought "water filter jug, cosmetics, glass straws". Next time I will buy rice cooker ;-)

Very nice I love it I have bought Bluetooth speaker and I just love it the bass. MAD BASS I REALLY RECOMMENDED TO BUY ONE OF THIS when you having barbecue it is handy

Fab store with 3 floors full of bargains for your home. Everything from Electrical goods to make up. Plenty of transport links and only a 2 minute walk from Central Station. Helpful staff and the store is always clean and tidy. Just make sure you give yourself plenty of time to walk around the store as it is quite literally choc a block full a fab stock at fab prices.

Fabulous shop. Full of bargains with everything from household electrical's to toiletries. Mens, women's and children's clothes. Everything you could need for your home inside and out. It is definitely worth taking a couple of hours to browse all 3 floors. So many offers on so many things. Massive range of literally everything you could need. Lots of friendly staff on hand to point you in the right direction or help find a product. I always come here if I need anything for my home or if I am buying for someone else. My personal favourite departments are the beauty section and the bedding section. The choice of high end cosmetics and skincare at knock down prices always amaze me. The bedding department is fab. I literally cannot come away without buying something at an amazing price from here.

Not a shop I've been in before, but I was impressed with the amount of thing's they stock. Bought two cabin cases and a larger suitcase, matching set. These were the lightest weight ones we seen for the money. Also noticed that they had very good prices on addidas trainers and quality Brand jeans. Will definitely go again when looking for something a little different and at very competitively priced.

I love the variety at TJ Hughes but the shopping experience has become stressful there as they have so much stuff on display at the entrance/exit that its impossible for me move around in my wheelchair. So I've started to avoid the place. On my last visit I visited the cafe there and used the disabled toilet which was in a shocking state. The light had been broken for weeks and was filthy. Such a shame as the shopping is pretty good

Fabulous shop. Brilliant bargain from everything you need for your home and yourself. Electricals. Clothing. Furniture. Rugs. Personal care. Fabulous bargains on everything. Spacious clean store with friendly helpful staff. You can spend a few hours walking around the 3 floors hunting out some amazing bargains.

Some great bargains to be had, but it's hot as an oven, even hotter than outside in the heatwave we've been having! Also no toilets so we had to leave to take our daughter to the loo, would have liked to spend more time here but just couldn't.

A shop that often slips my mind then looking for bedding and suitcases for holiday. They have loads of vacuums on offer upstairs and a nice selection of crockery on offer. The shop appears to be in a perpetual sale. I hope this branch doesn't close before Christmas. The staff seem lathargic and the appliances are all opened, some aren't which is good for when you want to buy one. There is a quiet little café at the top too, I haven't eaten there but it looks like a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of Newcastle.

A nice little place to shop . However , they are Not as cheap like they say they are . Their sales are a joke especially on Men's clothing . I will give them credit for the flannel shirts Price wise . I bought one today and they were cheaper by £2.00 than the local market . TJ Hughes has to learn to Compete with other stores on their prices . Basically , they have a handful of things and Not a wide variety . Oh sure , they carry this , that , and the other , but they need to have more of everything .

First time in this shop and was pleasantly surprised. Not upmarket at all but if you're after a bargain I think there are loads to be had. Bit of an untidy shop but they had some interesting bits and pieces for the home.
