No matter what your age, Abercarn library have plenty of programs, activities and clubs to entertain and engage you throughout the year – many of which are free. This library provide access to books for loan, information resources, PCs for public use, access to the internet and learning opportunities. Large Print and Talking Books are available at all our sites. Support for residents to access IT is available via our Taster classes and Digital Friday sessions

The small local library is only open 3 days per week Monday Wednesday & Thursday. Good Selection of books, audiobooks and larger print books. There is Wifi and toilets and there are computers available to library members. As ever brilliant staff and so helpful always a pleasure to go there.

For years the local library was horrible and had unfriendly staff. However, the new version has plenty of space and a good selection of books and computers. I gave an additional star for the new lady who works there (Scottish I believe but I can't remember her name) she is lovely and always goes out of her way to say hello. Just remember to clear any history or saved documents before you log off as it isn't always wiped.
