Things are currently being revamped so it was a little hard to find things. I went in twice in one week and things had moved about. The staff were really helpful and happy to help me with my project. I look forward to the renovations being completed so things can be laid out clearly and properly again

Disabled parking right by shop. I can't use a trolley or basket as I am on elbow crutches. Assistant got a bag for me and came with me to find the modelling clay and paints I needed and carried my purchases to the till. Offered to walk with me to my car. There was a super selection and my eleven and 9 year old grandchildren then spent 10 hours totally absorbed in making some lovely models.

Very quiet when I visited, staff were super helpful and immediately showed me where my item was located (I was in a rush). There weren't many options available (elastic string) but enough for what I needed there and then. Not too pricey for it either.

Owner of dripping mad wax and often come here for little extras to give my stuff that personal little touch. We've been served several times by the same woman, who has been so helpful and friendly. I will make the point of asking her name next time.

Excellent shop only buy models and paints from there, satff are all very helpful. Do ask cashier to check all security devices are disabled upon purchasing as sometimes they put a sneaky alarm inside the box which will give you a heart attack on the way out.

Had everything I needed in 1 stop to make both these cakes as a rush job for friends. Lovely lady helped me to pick out colours of icing and also offered some useful tips too. Have to admit I bought too much, but was easily able to return the unopened excess for a refund.

Good big store with a wide range of products for pretty much everyone with a crafting hobby. The store is laid out well, masks are still to be worn in this shop due to covid precautions which is good. Some of the products I would say are a little pricey but overall good quality stuff.

A great selection for craft. Could do with expanding the games that they provide for sale a little more. Great for card making, knitting, painting, model making. In terms of games there is a limited range, no carcassone, catan, monopoly, magic the gathering, Pokemon but they have jigsaws and forbidden island.

I called up today as my balloons for my partners 30th weren't delivered from another company,i spoke to a lovely women called Abida today she was so helpful, very kind and very patient. Nothing I asked was a problem she sorted everything out for me and saved the day totally. Now this is what I call great customer service skills 👏. I would defo recommend hobbycraft. Absolutely love this store! Staff are so friendly and helpful. We recently visited to buy Halloween decorations in preparation for our daughter’s birthday party and were so pleased at how helpful staff are. Not all of the decorations were out, but staff went and found what we were looking for so we could get everything we need. Thank you and see you again soon!

I love the shop. Many interesting craft items and wool etc. I have 2 things that bug me:- I have a loyalty card which is supposed to give discount. I don't know how that works. If you buy discounted items, eg 3 for 2, then you don't get discount. But if you buy 3 for the price of 3 a few weeks later, you still don't get discount. Huh?? Also, I don't like the way I am made to feel if I don't donate 20p to charity at the till. I already pay to charities through other ways. I feel guilty when I touch the red X. And nowhere does it say what charity it is paid into. But, the stuff in the huge shop is amazing. Staff are helpful too.

Nowhere near as good as it used to be. The range of products is much smaller and some items can be bought more cheaply in places like Home Bargains, B & M or The Range. Large Tesco, Curry's and Homebase on same estate. Also McDonald's and Tesco petrol. Lots of free onsite parking.

This is a deceptively large store, with myriad crafting bits and bobs in it. From wool and thread to cardboard, cutting tools, glitters and glues, inks and imprints. The staff are very helpful and kind, and just wandering around the place can be a pleasurable diversion in itself! They sell the aerosol glue: "SprayMount" and other, home grown varieties, which can sometimes be hard to pick up. I spent about an hour in here and came out with my head permanently on a slight sideways tilt from looking at millions of products on acres of racks. Quite a place to go, but of course, they can't stock *every* variety of *everything*, so sometimes it can be disappointing if you're looking for something very, very specific. Overall though, very impressive.

Great store with a wide range of interests from knitting, painting, model making, sketching etc, they can be a bit pricey with some craft accessories, so if you're starting off try somewhere like the Range or What !, and then use Hobbycraft for variety.
