Love this charity shop, theres always someone to make a fuss of my little dog. New stuff as well as used..go in with my things, come out with others. Today i wondered if some things there might have a spirit attached to them !!!

Lovely big shop with plenty of choice.

One of the better priced charity shops. The children's clothes are lovely and normally a bargain price. The baby hats are a little dear I think in comparison to the childrens clothes prices. It's a shame other charity shops have got greedy and forgotten that they were originally opened to help the poor in the communities to buy clothes etc . I hope this one stays at good prices and keeps a fair balance between getting money for charity and helping the community as a whole.

Arrived dressed as a pauper, leave dressed like a prince(cess). Great for sheets curtains and other household linens, and probably the best selection of menswear of the Newport chazzas. Lots of kidswear and toys plus usual books and AV stuff. now open after 8 week break. Thank heavens.

One of the best charity stores on the Island that supports our only Island Hospice. Great bargains ranging from clothing to furniture. Every penny made goes back into patient care. Local tip....They sell books on a permanent offer of 3 for £1. Great offer, read and recycle...like a lending library

Naomi, the manager rules and is the kindest soul one can find. All her volunteers are ideal. There has been an increase on prices lately and as I am povertu-stricken I won't say I am happy that books went from 3 for 1£ to 1£ a piece, but it is a WONDERFUL CHARITY and frankly a good cause with great staff. It's clean, well-organised, etc. I mean you walk in there like in a real shop. No bad smell. Clothes well pressed. They do have racks where clothes are £1 a piece. Support Earl Mountbatten. Easy to find, behind Boots the Chemis. Across you have the Samaritans, great place to go to: I know what I am talking about; I have a long history of self-harm and if I am alive today it is because the Samaritans savit my life three times.

I had to arrange for a large collection of furniture, books, pictures, etc from our house which has several residents, because of a redecoration programme. Everyone kept adding to the pile, and when I contacted the Hospice shop they had to send a large van! The experience was extremely uplifting and rewarding, rather than a chore. Everyone involved was friendly, helpful and efficient, it was a real pleasure. Thank you very much
