Amazing store! When I contacted them to ask if they could donate anything to help the abandoned animals in Ukraine, they couldn’t of been kinder. Everything they donated has now been loaded onto transport and will soon be on its way. Thank you so very much Eleanor and Paige at Pets & Friends. We took our beagle in to check the shop out, how amazing, the staff were so lovely and friendly, we were so taken back by the customer care and happiness of all the staff. Wow wow and wow I am so glad my dad told me about this place as I used to have to travel miles to get my pet food (crickets, locusts ect) and not only was the service pretty crape most of the time but the items were a fortune but this place the price is cheaper the store is cleaner and the customer service is next to none. A big thankyou in particular to Mark (he will no why) and the rest of the gang amazing people amazing service will never leave.

Walked in looking for information about owning a ferret, what they eat in the store, what i have access to, what insurance is good - recommendations for vaccinations, etc... I got a lot of information, more than i thought. the staff knew what they were on about and was experienced, they also owned ferrets and gave me recommendations and tips on owning one. they we're very very friendly and will defiantly be going in to get my ferrets food. would 10000000% recommend, gave me so much useful advice and definitely learned a lot from my small trip, staff were more than happy to help and I am grateful for their service!

All the staff I've encountered are very friendly and go out of their way to help. Unfortunately , I visit more than I like due to a naughty Boxer who likes to roll in fox pooh when she gets the chance. Never fear though as a Kennelgate have a washroom for dogs! Shampoo and all the towels you need are provided. Thanks again for slotting me in before you closed this evening!

I visited kennelgate last week with my German shepherd who has been very unwell. I wanted to buy toys and have advice on raw products. I was greated by Julie, Claire and Mark. They were fantastic. Julie followed me around helping with Harvey so I could have a proper look at the products. No request was too much for her and she most importantly gave me fantastic advice. Thank you all very much, I will be visiting again soon and wouldn't go anywhere else.

One of the better pet shops. What I like is that they stock some high quality items rather than junk that has the best mark up rates. For example chuck it balls which last rather than inferior rubbish that some prefer to stock. Also they stock some of the highest quality kibble brands like Orijen though we raw feed our dog now. Staff friendly too.

I visted the store for the first time today to used the self service dog wash. The staff and facilities are superb. Julie, Claire and the other two women there assisted me every step of the way, making myself and my dogs exsperience stress free. The shop was busy and they seem to have the time to meet and greet the customers, give advice serve at the till and know every dog and onwers name. It was just wonderful to see how much care they take delivering equisit customer service. It was a pleaseure attending your store to day ladies keep up the good work. I hope you get the recognition you deserve.

Very helpful and knowlageable staff, gave us some great ideas for our chewing puppies, and some sample of lovely food for our sensitive doggie. I didnt catch thier names, but they deserve a good mention. We stopped by on 14/7/19 at 12:30. Self use dog wash, gooming center and puppy training center in store are lovely extras local competition doesn't have. Great selection of foods. We will be coming back again!

This is my go-to store for all my pets now at weston favell, the staff are all so lovely and friendly and helpful, I always get greeted with a genuine smile and the staff are always ready to help. I didnt know this place was there until recently but Im very happy I found it, I cant praise the staff enough their just so helpful, spending ages with me helping me to find the right harness for my new dog. I went in a couple weeks back close to closing time and I didnt feel like they were trying to rush me out the door at all, the two lovely young ladies working there with the red hair and the blue hair were fantastic and so patient with my nervous new dog, they even let us use their little play room to try on harnesses for him. Customer service is so rare now a days so its so nice that you get a warm welcome and friendlyness even after you finish buying. you can really tell their interested in animals and knowledgable about the stuff they sell, 5 stars definitly recommend this place!!

5 stars isnt enough for, dont know what I would of done without there advice. My staff has been diagnosed with pancreatitis so I had to change his diet. He was on a really decent biscuit food so I didnt really want to change him anyway but you do what youve got to do. Trouble was my dog is so fussy and wouldnt eat anything I tried him with. Everytime I asked in pet food shops I was put onto the next expensive brand and yeah I know that they are good brands but still. He didnt want any of them except for one that turned out wasnt even good for him because it had too much fats in it for his pancreatitis so . Got to say it got so bad my little boy didnt eat for 4 whole days and lost so much weight. My vet nutritionist told me what food to go for and what ones to avoid but I really couldnt find one my boy would eat and I really didnt want him to hate his meals for the rest of his life,. I went into this store at my wits end because I happened to see it on my way past. Cant stress how glad I am that I went in there. Felt like I was going to break down because there was so much to look through and I didnt know where to start. Didnt want to ask any of the shop staff for advice because of bad advice I got from the other pet shop but the lady behind the till asked if I needed help so I told her what was happening. She took me all through the foods my boy could have but I already tried a lot of them and hated them so she told me to try the raw meat food and see if he liked that as they do a food thats all included and made especially for dogs that have pancreatic. It’s a bit smelly but my boy loves it. Cried my eyes out when he started eating again it was such a relief. I know eher im going for advice in future, I promised to bring my boy in to see the lady as she said she use to have a staff, you guys saved my dogs life thank you

Kennelgate is the best pet shop that I have visited, this is in large part due to the friendly staff. My wife and I regularly go there and they always ask how our pets are and let us know about any new stock or special promotions.

Marmite went to the Northampton shop in the shopping centre. Not the one in the retail park. I do not remember the name of the girl who sat with Marmite but tell her please that Marmite loves her new food. She had a pony tail and green hair. I did take my little Marmite Sandwich into your shop and she did have the most wonderful time. Little Marmite is a very fretful little dog and she shakes so terribly when she is out and about in crowded places. I am afraid she did a little nervous accident on the welcome rug when she walked into your shop. Your staff member was so very nice about it and sat down with Marmite to comfort her. Poor little Marmite did not want to move but the girl was so sweet to us and I think Marmite knew she was not going to hurt her. Marmite calmed down to give her some cuddles and the girl helped me weigh Marmite on the scales. My little lady does not often approach those whom she does not know but the girl in the shop was ever so patient and kind. Marmite did make a new friend to go with her new food and I shall certainly bring her back to visit her new friend. I did tell my neighbour about your shop and she is going to bring her little one to see you too. Thank you. : -)

Website is very poor and doesnt work a lot of the time. Shop is ok but due to size could do with an online stock checker to avoid constant wasted journeys. Christmas opening not advertised and was closed when we visited so gave gone elsewhere.
