Small store but a good choice of products. Homeware is great along with an awesome Halloween collection. No clothes and no frozen food like some other stores. Staff are very friendly and helpful

I really like this shop for last minute buying or if you're looking for a quick cheap breakfast/gifting ideas etc. I'd argue that the best part about Poundland is that they change their items according to the season so you'll most probably find what you need whenever you're last minute searching as well as they have standard products. Having it in town center makes it ideal to go to because it's not a far commute and it's easy to spot

Got my things, paid for them had to wait to leave the till area but could not leave as there was a member of the public in the way, a member of staff said is there a problem I said I can't leave as there was a person in the way she said I can get past him I then said there would not be a 2 metre distance between me and him and told the member of staff should know that

Great items and bargains

I absolutely love the store. It's very useful and staffs are really good. But I had a really bad experience from one of the staff members. She told me and my husband in a rude manner for us to stay 2 meters apart. And when we came to pay she was pointing us and shouted infront of all other people for the same,where we had only one card to pay. We had masks on and definitely understands the law, but family distancing doesn't really make sense; unless they do not let couples inside. One of her colleagues, he was really gentle and asked for one of us to stay in and complete the purchase.

It's quite clean and well stocked, perfect for buying little extras as you don't feel guilty because it's so cheap. Just being your headphones as the music in store it's awful.

Everybody loves a pound land 🙂. The staff here are really great though; always on hand to help, have really pleasant attitudes and are genuinely friendly people. It makes a world of difference and worth a review.

Good selection of every day stuff and some decent bargains amongst the tat.

Prices aren't set at £1 anymore but still great bargains in there. They did rearrange the store which makes it annoying if you don't actually buy anything as you have to backtrack or push past everyone in the queue.
